Kroger Headquarters Brands
Kroger offers an in-house brand call Simple Truth.
I went into Kroger (676 Germantown Pkwy) on Saturday 02/09/19 around 3pm. I went in looking for some wine that I tried at Olive Garden (more expensive) for a reasonable price, Kroger had it for 12.99. I picked up a few other items and proceeded to checkout. I only had 17 items and the 3 registers that was open had long lines, so I went to U-scan. U-scan was busy however, everybody only had a few items. I being to check out, the attendant that was over in U-scan helping assist was Freddie. She came over to help me with my purchase. So, I placed the wine back in the back due to the carousel being full and I didnt want the bottle to break. I proceeded to pay for my items, got my receipt, and placed my bags in the cart. As I begin to walk out Freddie stops me and with a nasty attitude insist that I DID NOT pay for the wine. I informed her I did, and she continue to get loud and told me I DID NOT pay for it and for me to show her my receipt. I then asked for a manager because I DID NOT like the tone of her voice. She grabbed my basket, then asked another associate to WATCH me. That associate did not have on a name tag, I think she was off walk because she was standing on a wall. Freddie called for a manager, and when they phone she told them that its a problem at U-scan and that they’re needed out here ASAP. Tim Roberts (Store Manager) shows up and ASKED Freddie, what was the problem. Freddie continue on to accuse me of trying to steal the wine without paying for it and that I refused to show her my receipt. Tim asked for my receipt and I told him that I DID NOT have a problem with showing him my receipt. However, I would like to know how do you plan on compensating me for accusing me of stealing, embarrassing me by causing a scene and holding me hostage against my will. Tim stated that Kroger would NOT compensate me and for me to show him my receipt because it was the law. I told him since they cant compensate me that I would NOT show him my receipt and I tried to leave. Tim moved in front of my basket and demand that I saw him the receipt. As I was refusing to show him MY receipt, Freddie goes over to the machine I used to checkout and printed another receipt from my transaction and gave it to Tim. I made the statement that they had access to the receipt the whole time yet they have been harassing me for over 10 mins. Tim looks at the receipt and told Freddie that it says Roscato Dulce right here. Freddie askes to see the receipt, then flipped her story and say that she didnt see my ID. I laughed and tried to leave again because I dont know what games they where playing and I didnt have time for them. Tim asked to see my ID, I refused and asked for him to move out of my way. Tim took my wine (I paid for) out of my basket and said that he would call the police on me because it was the law that I show ID. I told him to call the police because there was no way I got the wine without the assisting of an attendent. Tim then back tracked and stated that he wasnt going to call the police because I was going to show him my ID. I refused again, time walked off without saying anything with my wine and Freddie proceeded to helping people in U-scan. Leaving me standing there witjout a clue to what they where doing. I went up to Guest Service where Ms. Kristen helped assist me and I apologize to her for the situation that the store manager put her in being clueless. I did inform her that she woukd have to contact Tim so he could verify that he had my wine. She indeed reached out to him, however Tim informed her that she could only refund the wine and nothing else. I apologize to Ms. Kristen and told her the Tim cant pick and choose what I return, when I havent even left the store with the items. That I needed a full refund on ALL items. I asked for a district manager name and number, and was told that they didnt know or have a number for them. I was given the 800-Krogers number from another employee that was standing near. After 45mins then I was allowed to leave the store.
I called the 800-Krogers number when I got home and filed a complaint. I asked for the district manager to give me a call back, due to my issue being with the store manager and associate. I have yet to recieve a call. I found the headquarters number, however it was after hours and plan on calling tomorrow. I did call 800-Krogers back to get and update and she was so nice that she called the store to get the DM name & number, but all the store gave here was Ms. Frost.
the team under Shawn Dixon ; Kyle and Garrett all 3 of them from the Breckenridge st store Louisville, KY need to be retrained in customer service/appreciation the GM Dixon was so arrogant not to even return my 3 phone calls
CUSTOMER COMES FIRST…that is a joke at this store
wilmington krogers cheated me out of my hours 10 that was on time clock 8 on sighn book
I just moved to Springdale AR from Conway Ar and I really miss having a Kroger store to shop in. I would suggest that there is a huge opportunity for Kroger to open stores in Northwest Arkansas. I realize Walmart and Sams are close to their headquarters and have a large presence. However, the only competition they have is Harps and I don’t consider them as competition. I would suggest you open a store on Sunset Ave in Springdale about the same size as the one in Conway in on Salem Road.
I will no longer shop at Kroger. On December 11, 2018, I purchased two gift cards. A visa gift card in the amount of $50.00 and a $25.00 Amazon gift card. After opening the bag to address the birthday and anniversary cards and insert the gift cards, only the birthday/anniversary cards were in the bag. A call to the store only resulting in the store manager stating that the camera show the cashier placing the gift cards in the same bag as the other cards. If this was true, then were are the gift cards. I believe that all stores are a representative of the whole. I cannot trust the employees located at 15802 Champion Forest in Spring, Texas and will move my business to another Grocery chain.
I am shocked at Kroger store number 405 in McDonough Georgia! Kroger is known for friendly helpful quality employees. My experience at this Kroger on Sunday November 18th was far less than acceptable. Mid afternoon my wife and I went to the self-checkout with one simple item. The item would not scan. We waited for help. There was no store employee within the self-checkout corral. My wife stayed at the register I walked 2 cash registers over where to Kroger employees were chatting. I walked up and stood in front of them wanting to interrupt your conversation but waited. They did not get the hint. I said “excuse me”. They stop their chatting and just looked at me. I asked “is there somebody that’s taking care of the self checkout area”. The woman looked up at me, her name was Octavia, said “I’m taking care of it sir what do you want” & and just glared at me. I said my wife is having a problem on register number one. She continue to just glare at me. Extremely rude, I’m probably 3 times her age. I wasn’t asking for anything except some help. After all as she said it’s her job.
Why would Kroger hire people that hate their job and show it to the customers. I didn’t ask for anything special or anything out of the ordinary. Just asked for some simple help.
I shop at the nearest Kroger, unfortunately on US 42. I am having a problem and called the store for a manager or the headquarters. The receptionist was rude and would NOT give me a number. She said she did not have one and to contact 1-800-Kroger. That is not a valid number. The store is getting sloppier and less healthy oriented. Men in the meat deli have beard, having more hair on the beard than on their heads. Some wear head protections, but no beard covers. I observed several wisking their beards with their hands and then continuing to handle raw food–in the meat deli. It is disgusting, but Kroger does not think anything of it apparently. I am looking for another grocery store, but in KY,the choices are slim to nothing!
Dallas, Texas store oaklawn and other store on maple. I have looked for Folger coffee mix the cappuccino mix. You stop stocking on the selves. Why? Bad sell or discontinue? I want to buy some . I do not like starbuck coffee. Please bring back the mix. It is far better than starbuck. Thank you.
I just need the Kroger corporate human resorce email for employees. Does anyone know?
HI, I have been a faithful Kroger shopper and I just have to mention that when it’s time for food stamps every month the shelves be almost bare it would be nice to see people still stocking shelves during that time period and also I wanted to say the 2 day sale last weekend the Hostess ding dongs tasted terrible, And when items need to be returned to the shelves when customers can’t get their items they should be put back in a timely manner the things like meat, ice cream, and cheese shouldn’t have to stay out long hours and the Kroger brand ice cream should be wrapped in plastic. I will always continue to shop at Kroger I would like to see a change in some things…Thank You
The Kroger Needmore Store in Dayton, OH [email protected] 1934 Needmore Road has been closed since Sunday due to Dayton Power & Light causing the power in that area to go down. This needs to be addressed so that Dayton Power & Light does their job to have the power back on for this grocery. It is a well traveled grocery and we cannot even call in to find out anything as their phones are not working either.
This is URGENT and you as the Corporate office need to step in!!!!!
Hello,
My name is Marcus D. Campbell, the founder and CEO of Everrest Inc. which helps people grow their brand through ideas
and technology. My team and I have noticed the problem and major fall-out you have had with the visa company and
visa card. Your company spending over $90,000,000,000 dollars, that’s way to much money. Now, I know you don’t want a second-rate salutation to this problem, because
I know it wont solve the problem at hand and I would hate to see a well known business like Kroger’s Crash and burn over a simple visa card.
My team and I have thought about this problem for a long time and have came up with the number one solution to get you that money back plus
extra, right back in your pocket. Mr. McMullen, we would like to bring you into the future and give you a product that will
bring you more profit then you ever thought possible. We have it copy written by the LLC., because the concept is that good.
Also, we would just like to add that we are not trying to take any big amount of money from you. We are already making
profit from bitcoin investments and stock-trades and have over $834,000 in the bank as of 8/2/18. I personally just don’t want to see the only business I went to ask a kid
go down the drain. You have my word that this product will change the way people buy food forever and you will be the first
to grasp it. How amazing would it be to have a success story as good as that.
Now that I have your eyes and ears, if you want to more about this amazing idea and product you can contact me on my email
or call me on my personal phone number at (865)385-5856. I hope to here from you by tonight or tomorrow morning, because
“why hold off tomorrow that which can be done today”.
Your Number One Fan,
Marcus D. Campbell

I am concerned about the new bright yellow door coverings. They completely block vision into all the entrances. I don’t know if they are in all Kroger stores but they are in middle Tennessee. You can see out but cannot see in at all. I am not comfortable walking into a building (or activating automatic doors) where I cannot see what is happening on the other side of that door. I was told it was a sun screen. There must be a better way to achieve this without removing your customers’ ability see into the store. I won’t be shopping at Kroger while the doors are covered.
Yes my name is Joanne Davis I got hurt in Decatur IL Kroger s store in done with my treatment they got my bills no one is responding to me so we can settle this matter out it crazy I gotta keep email ing but get no response if the head president of the store could contact me I would be happy 217 848 2108
RE: your frys store at happy valley & 67th avenue: glendale az: I just had all my prescriptions transferred from Frys to the Walmart across the street. The Fry’s pharmacy employees under the new direction of a new younger pharmacist (7-18-18; 1:30p.m.) were rude and perpetually lied to me about the readiness for a scrip of low dosage antibiotics. I was in the store yesterday and told that they had not finished filling the scrip. I called in advance today and was told that it still was not ready because the pharmacist (P) wanted to check with the prescribing NP regarding interaction with another drug. Despite my informing the P that I had discussed the issue with the NP and the NP knew about it and did not have a problem, the P did not want to fill the scrip. I also informed the P that I had not taken the supposed “interacting med” for seven days. The P said she did not care. While at the pharmacy, I was told on 7-17-18 that the scrip would be ready to pick up in the a.m. on 7-18-18. I went and the told me that they still had not completed the filling of this minor order. I have transferred all scrips to another pharmacy nearby. Frys loses money bec some pharmacists are sadists.

I live in Augusta, GA. and shop at Kroger on Columbia Road and see that they have taken out four customer service checkouts and replaced them with self serve. There is no more human contact at Kroger anymore so I will be taking my business to Publix where they have someone to check me out because Kroger didn’t drop their prices when they added the self serve. lets see how many smiling faces did they get rid of ? that self checkout didn’t help me bag my groceries or tell me to have a nice day. Greed sucks Kroger. Oh I will be sure to let Publix know why me and others made the move.
Just had to hang up after spending over 20-25 minutes of trying to contact staff at KROGERS, Whitehall, Ohio (town & country)).. called three times today (I.e. bakery/meat Dept., store rep) to ask question) last call to store rep who answered phone put me on hold, never came back to phone. I initially explained to rep my problems experienced trying to get assistance only to be put on hold! LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
As a current employer at Kroger’s, I am disappointed in the way they run things. Working at the store in Florence, Kentucky I just found out that if you work an 8 hour shift, you don’t get a lunch unless your a minor or you request a lunch in advance. Plus I’m still waiting on my first paycheck from them. I’ve been there 1 month, and have only received 2 out the 3 paychecks. In response to that I was told all they can do is put a stop payment on the check, they will not investigate what has happened to my check. I am highly disappointed with Kroger’s.
I went to Dillons this morning and spent an hour getting what i needed. I had coupons for free items and had meat cut from the Deli. Had to wait 15minutes to check out bc they had one person checking out and the self checks were full of people bc they were mad for only have one checker. Went to pay with my Dillons card and it declined 3 times. I have used it twice and know i was far from my limit. 2 people behind me said their Dillons card didnt work at the fuel pumps either and lost fuel points bc of card not working. Manager took me to the front and tried to get my card to work but it wouldnt. Two other people complained about their cards. Manager didn’t say sorry or ill try to find out to see whats going on. Asked me if i had a different card to use. No i came in with this card plus wanted my points so no im not using another card. He walked away. I left the cart of groceries and left. Called number to file compliant and waited 30 mins or longer to speak someone. The person said my card was active. Duh! I tried it another place while on phone with the person from Dillons. Wouldn’t work. She kept saying she doesn’t understand why it wasn’t. I told her several times they need to be looking in to why peoples cards arent working. Nothing. I spent all morning dealing with this. Had to go to another story across town to finish shopping. I will never go back to Dillons again bc of the lack of trying to fix the problem and not even being sorry that it wasted someone time. Maybe if they tried to do something about it but just saying you have another card and walking away when you reply no.
I shop at Kroger on Hoover Rd in Grove City. I went to the meat dept to ask if they would slice a Cumberland Gap Ham for sandwiches. The person said he could do it. He said he didn’t have training to use a slicer so he proceeded to slice the ham with a regular knife. Needless to say it was a disaster. I got another ham and asked the other person behind the meat counter if he could slice it. He said yes. He loaded the ham on the slicer and then told the untrained person to slice it. The boy was so excited to use a slicer he began swearing out loud. Explicit words I would rather not repeat. Everyone hear him! He boy has no business around the public if he is not properly train not only how to do the job but how to talk to customers. I’ve been shopping here for 18 years. Kroger’s is scraping the bottom of the barrel with this one.
Kroger exec says they’ll stop selling outdoor plants with neonics (bee killing agent) in 2020.
I am sooo excited that you will help save our bees! This is very heartening to me, and I will tell people to shop with you when I hear it confirmed. I also hope that you stop merchandizing other products that have neon’s in their production.
Way to go Kroger!!!!!!
I have been shopping at this store for over 9 years now and never had terrible and disrespectful experience!
I asked for a manager to answer a question the cashier couldn’t respond to. The supervisor walks in and started speaking Latina to me while I’m speaking perfect English. The thing is I’m not Latino and was surprised as to why I’m being approached and communicate it in a different language. I feel the need to speak with the store manager to let them know about my experience and I how I felt this is unnecessary bios as to Judging people by their looks. As soon as I shared my concerns with the store manager (April) She said you’re not welcome here get the hell out of my store and scorted of me out of the store. Even followed me to the parking lot I took pictures of me in my car which I felt was very harassing. You could say she was angry and upset right of the beginning didn’t want to talk to me and I soon as I mentioned I will deliver this feedback to the corporate she was ready to kick me out of the store. Here Communication style and body language was totally rude and disrespectful. I’ve called the customer relationship and complain it’s been a week and no one has gotten back to me they just send me a simple survey. I will never shop at Kroger or recommend Kroger to my friends . I was kicked out of Kroger because of the way I looked and of my accent which is an act racism and discrimination.
I work at Kroger I keep telling them that I can not work 1:30 to 10:00 they keep put me on that I work at 529
I was completely dumbfounded this morning while checking out at the Kroger in Roanoke, VA (Airport area). My wife and I had already stopped shopping at the Kroger located 1/2 mile from our house (Salem Lakeside location) because of the rudeness of the employees and the general way that the customers are treated there. So, for the past few weeks we have been driving the extra 5 miles to shop at the airport location. After the total lack of respect and insensitivity of the self-check out clerk that we received this morning, we will no longer shop at ANY Kroger store. Kroger needs to screen their employees much better and provide training to their employees on customer service. If gaining a reputation for having the worst customer service is the corporation’s goal, then Kroger management is kicking it out of the park.
I just buy Cracker Barrel cheddar jack cheese today on June 9th 2018. I didn’t think to check the date because there’s “ freshness check” all the time but somehow I bought something that expired in March of 2018!!!! So this means March, April, May and June “freshness check” person didn’t check freshness.
I shop at our local Kroger at least twice a week. First off I LOVE our Kroger!! Everyone is always so upbeat and kind when I go in! I would just like to recognize one of your employees, Brandi Baisden. She is always so helpful and kind. I’ve seen her in action and she is always ready to help anyone that needs it! I cannot say enough about how sweet and kind she is!
Complaint Against Deanna Griffin of 5341 Highway 20 South, Covington, GA 30016
On the Kroger located on 5341 Highway 20 South, Covington, GA 30016 has an employee named Deanna and she is very rude and manipulative. She’s a bully who picks and choses who she thinks is soft or weak. She constantly stares daggers at my niece who has done nothing to her and treats her like she’s stupid. She’s nice to everyone else in our party but my niece. Anyone who knows my niece knows that she’s a positive and respectable girl but since reporting Deanna nothing has been changed and in fact its gotten worse. I don’t think the store would handle it so I pray that cooperate will handle it. It makes no sense that you don’t know someone yet you get a kick out of making her feel so uncomfortable. It’s no particular event it’s every time we go into the store and this cashier/bagger/whatever makes sure that she rolls her eyes every time my niece passes her way. My niece is a middle schooler whose had traumatic bullying experiences and to see a grown woman bully her is sickening. I believe my niece reported the incident but feels no one truly cared and is no longer comfortable going into the store for the fact that she’s scared of this particular person. Since talking about it with another family I’ve also found that she does this to other little girls as well.
Hi I just took advantage of your click list and had the most frustrating issues . I called for 15 minutes trying to get through to the # on the sign and I double checked it every dial. Finally I get through and I tell them their phone was not being answered and all they could do was argue with me that it should have rolled over but it did not it just dropped I had to tell the lady I was done arguing can she just load the car . She then left it to the one cart person to finish loading my trunk by himself guess she was mad I did not want to argue with her. She was extremely condescending with her tone to me as well, total wrong person for that job.
They threw my groceries around bad I have broken eggs flat breads and no time to go back to the store. One of my water gallons came open in my brand new cars trunk as well. The cart person when he finished loading the trunk could not even tell us he was done we saw him enter the store after leaving my trunk open. I had told the lady when I called that I had been their first 15 min before the car next to me in the #2 spot yet they still serviced them first guess they got right through. So apparently we caught everyone on break and no one knows how to apologize to a customer anymore just argue their points. I spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars there and apparently you do not need customers like me cause I will not be returning unless someone gets back to me and tries to make up for this really bad day at your store. I honestly have never been more upset about a customer service issue. and no one gave me a receipt or went over my list at all.
I spoke to your Lake Orion Store regarding bottle returns for the deceased Lafrance Marshall; whom died on Sunday May 5/27/2018. Store employees were harassing teenagers that were trying to return bottles for the Marshall family and were told that they needed to contact a Manager to explain the situation. Really; you are okay with harassing kids that are trying to assist the family in raising money to pay for the funeral of their friend? I am sorry we were unable to set this up ahead of time like the gal on the phone suggested. Accidental deaths are not planned a head of time.
Your store needs to stay up to date of local tragedies in case they have they have the ability to help.
Really sad- we will go to Meijer’s from now on. Your employees took 6 minutes to answer by the way and accused me of threatening the store. Really? What a joke! Maybe I need to contact my attorney.
Kroger 576 in Franklin TN has one of the worst managers in history. Paul has been target harassing me for the past couple of days. I am a vendor. I want to get my job done and still be happy about what I do. I do my job dillegently. He treats me like I am a child. I get very little respect. It is quite infuriating and I am quite tired of him looking down on me.
I live in Lebanon,TN on the south side of town. The nearest Kroger store is on the north side of town, 10 miles away.Walmart is closer. We prefer to shop at Kroger for our grocery needs, but being farther we often opportunity for Walmart. With Lebanon being such a growing city the surrounding counties, I think Kroger would benefit hugely by adding a Kroger on the south side of Lebanon before another chain sees the need as we do. Please conduct a survey for yourself and you will see the need for a growing community.
was at the kroger in avon, indiana on 267 and 36. was buying something after dropping my 18 yr old off for work on the 5 may 2018 at 1200 after midnight for graveyard shift, i forgot my keys and went to get a house key from my son at 100 am and overheard mike norris telling a customer to leave, then he turned to my son in front of customers he was helping and told him he could go on home also rudely, this bothers me about this manager because my son said on his second day of work, he went through the shelf saying this is wrong throwing shelf items at my son, this brings us back to this time where the customers and another employee was actually telling my son how sorry they was, when they was not to blame. i did everything to hold myself back front confronting this bad manager. afterwards these customers said they would not come back as i wont shop when mr mike norris is manager there.

Dear co-workers of Kroger, and ALL upper management,
As some of you know, I have turned in my keys and shirts. But before I leave, I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what a great and distinct pleasure it has been to type “Today is my last day.”
For nearly 2 years now, I’ve hoped that I might one day leave this job. And now that this dream has become a reality, please know that I could not have reached this goal without your unending lack of support. Words cannot express my gratitude for the words of gratitude you did not express.
I have never left an employer like I did Kroger but then again I have never worked for a place that treats their employees as if they do not deserve common courtesy and respect.
I would especially like to thank management: in an age where miscommunication is all too common, you consistently impressed and inspired me with the sheer magnitude of your misinformation, ignorance and intolerance.
Over the past 4 years, you have taught me more than I could ever ask for and, in most cases, ever did ask for. You have given me the chance to work with some absolutely interchangeable managers on a wide variety of seemingly identical projects – an invaluable lesson in enforcing random arbitrary new rules on a nearly weekly basis.
To all of the management members of Kroger. Despite working with people that practiced deceptive behavior, backstabbing, incompetence and disrespect, I have benefited tremendously by working with you and I truly thank you for that. Your demands were high and your patience short. I learned that there are actually management members who think it is ok for customers to curse and threaten employees and to not only be rewarded for that behavior, but to be apologized to by the poor employee just trying to do their job. That only encourages the behavior continue. Here is a perfect example of the lack of spine I have encountered in your management staff:
Customer: Why can’t you take these 8 cans of infant formula? What if I DID have a receipt?
Employee: Because we have been instructed that we are not allowed to take back infant formula regardless of whether you have a receipt or not.
Customer : I want to speak to the manager.
Employee: Pages Mr. Brennan. REPEATEDLY while the customer continues to throw a temper tantrum
Customer: I gonna come over this F’ing counter and whip your Fat F’ing Ass!
Customer continues repeating the same thing over and over. Employee keeps repeating “stop speaking to me, my manager is coming” Finally another person on the only open check-lane has to stop waiting on the customers to bring the manager up.
So called manager hears the lady cursing and screaming at the employee. Briefly speaks to the customer and turns to the employee and says “Diana I’m going to ask you to apologize to her and give her a gift card”
SERIOUSLY????? What kind of management member does such a thing?
For the record I refused to apologize even after being told to do so a second time.
He then had another employee apologize to her and give her a gift card.
How much more clear can it be that the people representing management have no regard for the employees?
There was once a time where hard work was rewarded and acknowledged, it’s a pity that all positive output now falls on deaf ears and passes blind eyes. My advice for you is to place yourself closer to the pulse of this company, actually spend some time in stores, not in a walk through or audit, they scramble and spend countless overtime hours when there is a group of “suits” coming. If they gave us the tools we need on a daily basis everyone wouldn’t be panicking when company is expected because the store would always be acceptable, not just when managers are scared. Care a little more and see the effort and dedication. Maybe then you will be able to achieve far less turnover and happier, competent employees. After all, with your many decades worth of combined work experience should have taught you that happy employees are productive employees.
So, in parting, if I could pass on any word of advice to the lower salary recipient who will soon be filling my position, it would be to cherish this experience because a job opportunity like this comes along only once in a lifetime!
Meaning: if I had to work here again in this lifetime, I would sooner kill myself.
I will be sharing my bad experiance on social media as well as the news Shawn lied i called the store manager at 11:48 and he did not return my call i called him back at 2pm to hear thathe can’t do anything about it. He should have took 410.00 from the store and reprocess my transactions and put it on Shannon drawer since he messed up.
2 things: Kroger frozen veggies mostly out, but gas pump worst. I walked up to the glass window, where clerk, Rahibullah was playing with his smartphone and it took a moment or two to get his attention, and as I stood there, I eventually had to tap on the glass, because he was either texting or playing a game and wanted to finish. I explained that I wanted $3 in gas, told him the pump number, and pointed to my car. I also gave him my Kroger tag on my keychain to show that I was a Kroger shopper so I could get my 3 cents off. Ok, so far so good, although he really should not have been playing with his phone. I go to the pump and try to pump the gas and no gas is coming out, so I try again and again, and press the button on the pump for regular unleaded, and I shout out, turn the pump on, but he isn’t paying attention. I go to the window and say either give me the gas, or give me my money back. He said I’m not giving you the gas. I was in shock, so I asked for my money back, and he saw I had $2 more in my hand and asked for those too, and I said I’m not giving you MORE money, he said I will give you a $5, but I said no because I didn’t trust him and he had plenty of ones.
Wanted to get other Kroger brand frozen vegetables, but there were like 10 empty boxes, plus wanted to get fuel and couldn’t because or your employee Rahibullah. In fact he was pompous, rude, apathetic, and had a major attitude. When I tried to tell him I was reporting him and tried to see his name tag, he showed me proudly, and asked did you get it”? He didn’t give a d-mn, and felt that he did nothing wrong. What is wrong with him? I think he actually wants to get fired so he can go on unemployment and have you pay for it, so he doesn’t have to work.
Hello,
I am trying to find a contact to answer some of my questions around the new fee structure at the warehouses. The email that went out stated that there will be a charge of 3% the invoice amount. Are the drivers going to be charged that fee, or is this going to be invoiced to the customers? Can you email me a copy of the fee structure for all fees, including late drivers, appointment reschedules, etc.
Thank you,
Samantha Bartelmy

the baggers at the store in rushville indiana only make 8.50 an hour i know someone who has worked there for 5 years and only makes 8.50 an hour 3 years with no raise at all they are they hardest workers there this is so unfair the fulltime baggers shoud make more they go out in the snow, rain and are always working so hard it sure doesnt say a whole lot for our krogers in rushville indiana
This store(607 on Hammerly & Gessner) is the worst I am a single mom who works fulltime and goes to school fulltime. I stop at this Kroger in after work to grab something to feed my family before heading on to school. They have a security guard there named Chris who follows me all around the store and je also followed me outside the store and stood staring at me he even went so far as to walk uo to my Uber ride and look in the car. I went to the store manager Michael Mcclure to let him know that that the guard hass over stepped and now has moved over ti harassment. Manger Michael Mcclure said it is store policy to treat all customer who come in with a back pack to treat them like thieves!!! He went on to say this neighborhood is not a good one and a lot of people and the teens steal. So he thinks its ok to treat hard working customers like suspects. Michael Mcclure did not care and acted like I was crazy to expect to be treat with respect and like a valued repeat customer. I will never return to Kroger again!
Greenwood Seattle Fred Meyer store needs improvement on the sanitation of the bathrooms, keeping stocked areas, sweeping, and cleaning the toilet seats. The checkout areas are disgusting with unknown residues, I hesitate every times to put my food there. The cashiers appear to not need feeling well frequently and I may reach out to the Department of Labor and local news Get Jesse to investigate the working conditions, barriers
to keeping your employees safe and the cleanliness of this store.
We used to stop every other day at Kroger here in Lansing Michigan but recently we found that another local store “Toms” has a product that we use regularly. My wife ask the manager at Kroger to see if she could bring this item (from Bore’s Head) so many times, and so far we field like speaking to a wall we never got an answer or a call back about this issue. We don’t think you guys care much about your customers we will have to keep going to “Toms” then, it is a little far for us but worth it.
Without good “Customer Service” their is no future!!
Sad.
A WARNING TO ALL CONSUMERS
Do not pay your bills at Kroger’s as Kroger’s will take your money, refuse to pay your bill and cause your bill to cut off. This has happened to me twice. I was forced to file complaint with the GA Consumer Affairs Office, When I contacted the store, the manager Michael Murphy was very rude and nasty. He hung the phone up on me. Do you believe contacting Kroger’s Corporate Office will help. Think again.
When I contacted Corporate, they had done nothing to resolve the matter.
We have a lot of issues with Krogers in my area. After showing the staff that the product was priced wrong at the sale they just pulled the tag off the shelves. If its on sale correct the price. To me to do other wise is stealing for your customers. After calling the area Mgr. He did nothing more then to say I will check into this. Weeks have past and its the same problum.
A cashier told my son that he what we were doing was illegal. We went in to buy a few items on the B5S5. We went to 2 separate registers and she told him that was illegal. When I confronted her she stated that she thought it was illegal but after talking to her supervisor that he said that everything was ok. Well everything is not ok with me after you humiliated my 13 year old son. Kroger should train their employees on what is legal and illegal because what we did was not illegal at all.
Correction: A cashier told my son that what we were doing was illegal.
Your company is missing the boat by not having aKroger or better yet a FOOD 4 LESS in the MinookaILL AREA. The only grocery store on Rt.6 and Ridge road is a Jewel which is totally overpriced, My son lives 1/2 mile from the jewel and travel to Morris Ill. to the walmart to get his food because their is no other grocery chain to give the Jewel a run for their money. He said if their was a food 4 less near him he would go and save some gas by not going to walmart. So what SAY?
Loyal customer absolutely apauld about the custo met service from store 315 in Fayetteville GA. The store manager is rude as all get out I let a situation go because my husband went later that night on new years eve and had it rectified. When I went into the store today 01/13/18 I was done with the customer service area and as I was w walking away the store manager Robert Chandler made a comment towards me from the situation that happened on the 31st of Dec 2017. I’m very upset about all this. He treated me like a common criminal, a liar and was absolutely rude
in the situation prior. Plus the off comment that he said today I have had enough I can’t sit back anymore, this store manager either needs to be removed or sent back through customer service training. Something needs to be done about Robert Chandler. Someone pllease help me with this problem. If I am going to be treated this way I will forever never do business with the Kroger company again. This person has made me feel absolutely horrible and I have done nothing to deserved this type of treatment.
I can not believe the news I heard today that the Krogers in Brownwood, Texas will be closing in March, 2018.
I, as many others, have been loyal customers for 40 years! We do not wish to shop at United Foods or Brookeshires.
We feel the staff at Krogers are our family.
The staff at this store does not feel this is just a job, rather it was a calling they have driven by the belief that all customers deserve to best service possible, unlike the other grocery stores in the Brownwood/Early area. The Kroger staff in Brownwood has invested-time and to do
what’s best for each of their customers.
As I stated above, I am a very loyal customer to the Kroger in Brownwood. I shop at this Krogers at least five times a week. Every time I have shopped, they are very busy, unlike United Foods. Therefore, it makes no sense whatsoever for your corporate office to say the reason for closing the Kroger store located in Brownwood, Texas, is due to lack of profit.
This Kroger store needs to be moved across the street into the empty building where Hastings was located. It would then be out of the flood plain, larger and newer store where a pharmacy could be included.
Your Corporation is making a very big mistake, as well as, an unjustice to the citizens in this area, including the smaller towns located around Brownwood/Early.
For your information, the news of Krogers in Brownwood is closing has upset and made many of your customers angry.
Corporation definitely needs to reconsider closing the Krogers in Brownwood, as in the future this is only going to hurt your corporation as we will never shop another Krogers no matter where it is located.
Some of the officials in Memphis, TN would like to sit down and try to work a resolution out regarding the closing of several stores in the community. Many of people in the community support these stores and they are vital in our community. We want to this chain to stay in the African American Community. I am trying to reach out to the CEO and the any members for us to come to some resolution that will not create a major gap in the community
My name is Sheri Johnson and I am a former King Soopers employee. I was employed at store #19 in the deli dept. I was terminated due to leaving earlier than my projected moving date and I was told that my last payroll check would be mailed out to me but I didn’t have an address for it to be sent to. So I never received it. My new address is 617 F Street Fairbury, NE 68352. If you could send it out to me, it would be much appreciated. I also need to obtain my w2 if at all possible? Thank you for your time and cooperation
This is not Kroger’s website. Asking them questions and expecting answers is 100% pointless.
My name is Tina Campbell. My husband and I was shopping at our local Kroger’s in Kendallville, In. We had our son with us that had a seizure disorder, and he ended up having a seizure while shopping in Krogers. This man, that I wish I got his name that was working in Krogers. He came over to our side, kneeled down beside us, took off shirt and wipe of our sons face for he was drooling during his seizure and placed it under his head for a pillow. I felt so blessed that he took time to come over and help us. He was so humble and caring and it completely touched our hearts that he show kindness and love. I wanted him to be recognized for being a very caring man.
I have been a Houston Kroger employee for almost 20 years now and a department head for more than half of those 20 years and I have NEVER had as many issues with store management the way I have this past year! I have already filed several grievances with the Union, with HR, with my merchandiser, with the District Manager, and with the 800-hotline, and still have not had anything taken care of! I have submitted as much proof as I possibly could to prove that he has continued to harass me. I am currently on “suspension, pending termination” because of my store manager! I have never met someone that thought it was ok to harass their employees as such and continue to get away with it! This store manager literally has the LOWEST score in our district because of the way he has mistreated all of the employees in the store, yet he still has a job! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE KROGER VALUES? I am tired of the run around that I’m getting from everyone and I am beyond aggravated by not getting any answers to any emails that have been sent. I have been left with no choice but to contact my attorney, the EEOC, and the Department of Labor!
The location of the store is at the corner of Ridge Rd. and Horizon in Rockwall. Please take the appropriate action against all parties, or else I will.
Brian Turner
Dear Headquarters,
I am disgusted with the service I receive in your deli and fish market departments today October 19, 2017. It is known for my experience that your employees are breathing hard over the products that I purchase in these departments. Also, that I want to take legal action against your store. I purchased a product today from your deli department and a guy named charles took my order and I am not a satisfied consumer. If this proceeds I will contact my attorney and file a law suit against Kroger. This needs to stop! NOW
I believe that you have name your product “I’M SQUEEZABLE” apple strawberry apple sauce VERY WRONG!! You’re saying that it has apple and strawberry in it so if that’s even true it should be called apple strawberry sauce not just apple sauce. I would like you silly Willies to fix this as soon as possible thank you and your welcome for pointing out your mistake.
As a long-time Kroger customer, I am disappointed that I must send this email. While I understand that you probably will not see this email, I hope someone with authority does.
I spend $400 – $500 a month a Kroger. I wish I had other supermarkets to choose from, as I would try to avoid Kroger for a while.
During the past year, I have noticed the cleanliness of the facility, and the friendliness of the staff decline in Wheeling.
More troublesome than this, is the constant problem of empty shelves.
Today at 12:00 pm I tried to shop at Kroger. I walked out after 15 mins. My list included:
Folgers Coffee – Shelves were empty except for some “gourmet” flavors. No regular, no Colombian, no Breakfast Blend. NONE
Coffee mate Creamer – Shelves were empty except for the very small (4 oz.) packages
Pre-packaged fresh fruit – No pineapple, no mixed fruit, no cantaloupe, NOTHING. This product I am sure is a big profit item, I cannot fathom the shelves being totally empty.
Pasta – The pasta isle was decimated. There were many stickers stating “Temporarily out of stock”. I would imagine pasta is a high turnover item, it is mystifying that there were so many empty shelves.
Chopped/Minced Garlic (in produce) – Only small jars of chopped available. All others, EMPTY.
I encountered a Kroger employee by the coffee. I said “Sir, why are there so many empty shelves? Did the truck not show up?” He replied “Hey, we are a busy, busy store Sir, and we can’t keep up. We didn’t get everything done last night we should have. We are trying hard so please have patience.”
I shouldn’t need to have patience, you are a business. You are not providing a good or even adequate customer experience. Again, if competition in the Ohio Valley was better, I would shop elsewhere.
I tried to use the Kroger Website to submit this, but THAT wasn’t working either.
Just bought and tried Krogers’ cheese pizza. In 50+ years on this planet, it takes 1st place as the very worst pizza EVER. Terrible nothing…
I have contacted Kroger mutliple times because I am a former employee and y’all mailed 2 paychecks to me that were returned because the company had the incorrect address. Its been close to a year now and no one has gotten back to me and I have no idea what else to do. Please can someone please reach out to me to assist me in getting the money that y’all owe me. Terrible service for former employees!!!
Who do I contact at the corporate level to complain about customer service. It seems like every site you have about emails or complaints is down. The only one that I found that works(a joke) I have left 3 messages and the only response is we will get back to you. Well, it is going on 3 weeks and no one has gotten back to me. I have not spend a cent in Kroger since and probably won’t ever spend another penny. I spent around $300 a week on groceries and gas. That does not include the pharmacy since my daughter is Type 1 diabetic. Kroger has failed in customer service. You are going to lose a lot to Publix. I spend more money there but atleast I am treated well.
If someone could please get back to me is appreciate it. I had someone hit my car last Monday while I was in the store and they left the scene. Multiple managers have given me different info on how to see the video and no one seems to be getting me anywhere. I have been a loyal customer for years and would have thought the Kroger company would be more helpful seeing how it happened right in their parking lot. All I want to know is if they can get who did it. I have a high deductible and to have to pay something that I did not cause is irritating. Also would like to know how long you have the footage for seeing how it’s already been over a week with Kroger giving me the run around.
I shop weekly at Krogers, one reason is krogers has reasonably priced gluten free bread. I have noticed that you have started advertising gluten free products, but i cant any in the two Kroger stores in Kettering Ohio, no gluten free bread. My suggestion is if you say your going to have gluten free produts have them. Kroger’s normally only stocks 5 or 6 loaves of Kroger brand white and wheat gluten free bread anyway. I think Kroger’s would be better off taking your signs down saying you have gluten free products. Cause I rate your success at a F, cause you can’t even have enough bread in your two Kettering stores. Woodman Drive and E Dorothy Ln and E Stroop Rd. People rely on this type of bread for liver conditions. No worries, Wal-Mart carry’s a much better selection then Kroger’s even could.
not true, Kroger never had right price at checkout.
I just came from Kroger in Somerset, ky and I bought two boxes of Deli fried chicken. The chicken was $8.99 a box. Anyway, when I got home and my family sit down to dinner, we couldn’t even eat the chicken, because it tasted like it had been fried in old burned oil, we had to throw it out. I just threw away $18.00. I live 10 miles out of town or I would have taken back. Thank you, a former Kroger customer.
Raised on A&P; discovered Kroger in 1958; loyal customer ever since!
I’ve never done this before, but I have discovered a fabulous product you should really stock: Slawsa. I stumbled onto this somewhere and ordered a variety pack (original, spicy, garlic and fire) from the producer in North Carolina (SLAWSA. com). I’ve found so many ways to use this stuff, and I’m nowhere near the end!
To tell you the truth Kroger, I’d rather shop in an A & P. A & P’s meat far superior to Kroger’s. A & P store brands particularly long ago when they had Jane Parker, Ann Page and a slew of others were far superior to Kroger brands. It’s a shame what happened to A & P to have a foreign entity buy them and fooling employees, customers and unions that they were serious about bringing A & P back. No, A & P turned out to be a money machine for them until they couldn’t wring another penny out of them. Back to Kroger, I have been on hold to corporate customer service for over 20 minutes and the problem is their website and digital coupons. If you “clip” them some don’t show at checkout. I usually “clip” them the night before shopping but I’ve made Kroger my convenience store and Wegman’s my “regular” store. If they don’t show, one has to go to customer service to have the person there check your account to make sure you’re not pulling a fast one I guess. I had this problem before and before but the one prior to today, an assistant manager told me this problem should be able to be corrected at the register. That’s what I thought and why I asked for him. He said he’d make this issue know and obviously he hadn’t or he ran into a brick wall as the problem is still there. I could go on but I’ll close with this. I just called corporate customer service and the person on the other end couldn’t see the coupon in question. I’m now on hold as he wants to discuss with is supervisor. Good gosh Kroger, I can shop in a Wegman’s or Lidl and the customer is king. What happened to you?
am a kroger employee at store 517 in short pump va. Been with the company for going on 8 years. The store manager has done nothing but harrass me since he became the store manager last summer. Tuesday July 25th I had too call out too take my newborn son too the doctor because he wasnt feeling good, I offered too make up my day on one of my days off, as i have before if needed too & was told i could not make it up. Reassuring you that im full time & hardly ever call out. Too be Harrased by a store manager for calling out too take care of a sick newborn is unacceptable. This guy needs too be put on notice, as he treats all his other employees bad as well.
NO OFFENSE BUT,, DONT HOLD YOUR BREATH,, KROGES doesnt give a rats ass anymore about ANYTING..They are one of the top grocery store, made their money so now the customers can go SCREW THEMSELVES..

Who’s idea was the complete change everything about the lay out of the store? This entire group needs to be fired immediately! You are losing a ton of profit as well as increase expenses. Just look at your numbers. I know all of my neighbors are shopping your competition because it is too difficult two find your way around the store now. You are pulling stockers off their job to take us to where you moved products to. It’s taking your stockers at least three to four times as long to do their job. The flow is completely off. It feels uncomfortable and it doesn’t make sense. I am not going to shop at Krogers any longer. You’ve lost a very loyal customer.
They do this so you’ll SEARCH for the particular item you came in for, up and down the isles, you’ll find yourself picking up additional products you had not planned on buying.
Hello I just want to bring to attention a situation that I believe is happening more than people are aware of. I am/was a loyal customer of Kroger, my family spends at least $600 a month in the store and gas station.
So when I go to return an item with a receipt I should be able to get my money back you would think right? Well no, not at Kroger!
My husband purchased two packages of batteries there priced $13.99 a piece. Well he bought the wrong size, he got C and needed D.
Now when he bought it he used a co-workers Kroger card, and used a debit card that we no longer have due to a break in at our home that has resulted in over $15,000 in cash & belongings being stolen. So therefore we had to cancel all our accounts and open new ones (hint the new bank debit cards) well even though I have the original purchase receipt, because it was at the shop with the batterie, Kroger treats me as if I have stolen them. I have just been through a great ordeal the past two weeks dealing with re obtaining our personal information ie.. ss cards, dl’s, cc’s, etc… Now I am being accused of being a thief, and denied my money back.
I am appalled at the lack of customer service that I witnessed at that store, they made me feel like I was a criminal and it was embarrassing. I am not going to allow them to continue this, that woman looked at me like I was just some piece of crap. She was on the phone with her manager and said well that should answer your question. What was the question? Do you think its stolen? Yeah I will not take this type of treatment. I am going to corporate, the news station, and everyone will be aware of you treating your loyal customers as if they are nothing but thiefs.
I have a CO license. I moved to TN.. IN the summer. I went to Kroger twice to buy AleveD. The 1st time the lady treated me like I am a dope feen was MORE THEN rude long story short and told me I could not buy it b/c of my CO license, So I thought ok I’ll just go to a different one. THIS time they said they had to type my license in… They couldn’t do it I stood there for what seemed to be at least 45min to an hour and she said try a diifferent store. [email protected]!! I WANT SUM ANSWERS!
I have been treated in the same manner due to having a “panic attack!” I was branded a thief. I hsve NEVER felt more humiliated in my life! I spoke with a reptesenative that, very same, night. NEVER, would I have expected the store to be informed of who I was! Needless to say; a bad situation, has went from bad to worse. My reason for this composite, is in the hopes of putting this to rest. I wanted NO harm to come to ANYONE. Nor to give the store a black-eye, if you will. I, simply just want to be treated with common respect. Nothing, “more!” Nothing, “less!” My Prayers are for THE LORD, to make something good come from this. That is what HE Does…..
I work at WV Kroger store 734 and we have a head front end clerk that constantly stalks the store harassing our employees all day he calls all departments and the dept heads to the front all day and will not come out of the office to help our customers at all. This so called dept. head does nothing nut harass our employees all day he makes trips to the restroom every fifteen minutes with his head turning like an owl looking for employees to harass and belittle. This is why I do not shop any at my home store always go to 765 so I can support Krogers and my union but I will not support this type of harassment to my felloe employees and me. Management says he has too many years in and they cannot deal with him and he is our union steward to protect our employees what joke he tries to get people fired all the time.
I don’ t know if I am talking to the right person, but in Macon,GA You have the rudest employee named Felicia, who snatches items out of peoples hands . This store never answers their phones. They re on Baconsield.
I am power of attorney for one of your employees. She’s had a very serious medical problem last September and is disabled, unable to even talk. We have been trying for 4 MONTHS to get the money from her 401K to pay for medical bills! Merrill Lynch can’t release the money until her employment file has her listed as “separated” but evidently, that’s something that’s nearly impossible to do. WHY??? For the first month, the request never went any farther than a desk in the store where she worked. What does it take for this to go through?? She wanted to have the procedure done in time for her daughter’s graduation. We started trying to get the funds back in March. Her daughter graduates tomorrow. Shame on Kroger for making this so incredibly hard and stressful for her!!!
Krogers on oldnational hwy college park ga After 8pm they only have 1 cashier and self scan its ridiculous i shoped for a hour. When i get to the front the 1 line is headed to the backbof the store because they decided to have one cashier this is the 2nd time that i came up their and had to leave everthing in my cart and walk out within two weeks . Im very upset because i had to go to walmart and spend more time and money because of this. So i no longer be shoping at krogers even if i have to spend more money some where else and i will no longer tell my friends about your great deals because the service sucks. And i had my newborn with me.Angry
Hello! I would like to ask about the US food factory products, into the KROGER sales need to have what the most basic conditions and requirements? Please see the letter quick reply to my Email. Thank you!
This company is getting worse. I have a store manager who forces people to work at a kroger location thats way to far us. I have complained many, many times, and they don’t care. I gotten a write up for not contacting the store they wanted me to work at that I can’t work there. That’s wrong for them to treat me like that. My front end supervisor and a another store manager don’t say nothing and defenseless. They ain’t shit. There are people who are walking out on kroger because of management. They treat people like shit. Nathan needs to lose weight, and Peter needs to retire.
I can across a couple old records from a give away promotion you did and I was wondering if you could give me a year when you did that ? It’s a white plastic albums 33 1/3 the great presidents
Thank you
Mr. McMullen,
I have been a customer of the Kroger pharmacy now for about 14 years. This is when I moved from Columbus, Ohio to Ripley WV after I retired as a DeputySheriff with Franklin County, Ohio Sheriff’s Office. I am undergoing spinal cord surgery Tuesday April 25th. Unfortunately spinal cord pain feels like you are being electrocuted at times along with constant pain. I had seen my family physician Monday the 17th to get cleared for surgery and my doctor increased the amount of medication for a short while. I took the prescription to Kroger Pharmacy in Ripley and dropped it off earlier in the day. On my return to pick it up around 330 pm today one of your pharmacy techs took it upon her self to try and shame me for wanting this prescription filled. My doctor increased the amount of medication so my last prescription would be up now. Your Pharmacist should of asked me any questions if he had any but instead one of your female pharmacy techs thought it would be better to talk loud enough to try and shame me and act as if I was some low life drug addict. I am going to seek legal counsel tomorrow.I know these people and have filled countless prescriptions mostly blood pressure meds etc. Your tech crossed the line when she thought she would deny me the legal prescription I had presented. I am a member of the Fraternal Order Of Police the largest police union period. I have standing in this union and I am not so sure that Krogers doesn’t hate Law Enforcement Officer’s.
Same thing happened to me they are Horrible. I have had mine filled there for years twice in the last 3 month’s I have had horrific incidents including today a Holiday weekend my doctor never marks the box generic or non leaves blank my file there for six years has been generic so why today on a holiday it can not be filled unless they talk to the doctor my insurance will not pay name brand I left no prescription. Extremely rude I’m let in pain and sick all weekend she also marked out. Bid.
Wrote SOS circled it what that means I have no idea. I will never return to a Kroger again.
I used to work at King Soopers in Wheat Ridge, Colorado from March 2015 until May 2016 and I still haven’t received my W-2 for 2016. Taxes are due in less than two weeks, how am I to obtain a copy of it??
Hello my name is Jeremy Spears and i worked for the Kroger company in Bluewell West Virginia and i have been two to three weeks trying to get them to send me my last check first they tell me i have to bring the shirt back before i can get my check. But that is illegal. Then i called and asked them to take the money out of my check for the shirt then they just tell me to forget about the shirt and asked for my address, so i gave them my address and this was about four days ago. Then i called today and they tell me that they have not mailed my check out yet. I am getting mad and if this issue is NOT resolved i will go to a lawyer about it. Because they owe me that money and they are trying to keep it. Um, no i did not work for them to not be paid. And don’t even get me started on how i had to get buggies for 5 hours straight one day in the cold by myself because its against my religion to touch alcohol. Also they would barely give me my breaks. So if my check is not mailed out by tomorrow like the lady said I will go to a lawyer about this, and not only for my money but i will also tell how they discriminated and punished me for my religion and would not give me my breaks on time. So Kroger headquarters you have until Friday to get this resolved if not have fun trying to win a law suit for religious discrimination, trying to get free labor, and over exhausting your employees.
Hello my name is Sherese Pleasant. I recently applied for the Retail Sales Associate and I will like to know how do I go by checking on my application.
People please pay attention these comment do not go to KROGER this is not their web site
On Thursday, March 16th, 2017 I went to purchase several items at the Kroger store on 1227 Rockbridge Rd in the metro Atlanta area. I don’t know if their location is Lilburn or Stone Mountain. Well to make a long story short. I had went to register 11 at approximately 8:20 pm. The cashier was just completing a transaction for another customer and when I walked up and asked her if she was open (her light was off) she told me to go over to register 12 which I did because I was assuming she was closed. Soon after I went over to register 12 then she took a customer at her register 11. I was appalled that she did that. Once the cashier completed my transaction at register 12 I went to the customer service department and complained to the supervisor that stated that he was in charge. He assured me that he would talk to the cashier at register 11. I told him that is fine but I will be contacting cooperate regarding the poor customer service that I received. If that cashier did not want to wait on me she should have verbally indicated to me that she did not want to ring up my items. This was a blow in my face. I looking straight at her and again once I went over to register 12 not one minute later she took a customer at the register she was at. I hope you’ll will pull the tape to see clearly she did not give a damn.

I am a Fuel Center Clerk at the Kroger 138 Highway Location located in Stockbridge, Ga. I would very much like to know who to get in touch with regarding the breaks that are not being given to fuel center workers. We are sometimes forced to take a break as soon as we get to work or else we won’t get one the rest of our shift. It’s not right nor fair. Please feel free to email me at your earliest convenience. Have a good weekend.
Contact your local hour and wage commission.
Good day,
I am writing on you about the inconsistent/lack of information service provided by Atlanta division and Dublin GA local hiring location. Yesterday February, 24 2017 i received an confusing e- mail regarding to my application submitted at your company. The first e-mail i received is saying that my application is already processed and they pursue other applicant for the position i applied. At the same date i do received another e-mail from Atlanta division Kroger on boarding saying congratulations on making a decision to to join Kroger stores including a link on boarding portal with instruction to create an password. I decided to called costumer service of your local store here in Dublin to gather more information about it, but unfortunately customer representative told she dose not have an idea about it same when i call customer service in Atlanta division. It sound that they don’t wanted to gave any information about it or they do not have a clue about the service provided of the company. Earlier today i receive a another message telling that it was a mistake, it was a system error and apologize on me. My point here is that the costumer representative must have a enough knowledge about service that company provided.
It is quite disappointment on my part because i am thinking a positive result about my application. I hope you resolve this kind of issue and not happened again to other applicants.
Sincerely your’s
Risky
I just found out the Kroger will not let me use my debit card as a credit card. i just got a new chip card and was told that Kroger needs to update there system for the card to be accepted as a credit card. I have shopped at Kroger for many years and never had a problem like this before. If Kroger does not fix this soon i will be taking my business some where else. I know this is a simple fix of your computer system and that you most likely have not done this so you don’t have to pay for me using my card as a credit card which cost you a percentage compared to a debit card purchase that cost you nothing. It would be nice to have this explained if you can.
Just writing a complaint on store 391 Roanoke va. I had started working in the Bakery. Was only there a short time. I have a disability where I become very nervous and panic if rushed or overwelmed with duties. I loved ththe customers. However the problem I had was with my manager of bakery. Very rude and degrading to me. I didnt feel comfortable around her. She would get me upset. I did a wonderful job, even got a complament and a pin for helping out a customer. They decided I should go. Hr didn’t help me. I wanted t transfer however they told me nothing was open and it would be best for me to give the job up. So I left.
First I’d like to say I can go to any other Kroger’s and it will be all nice and clean. Ours in Palestine Texas is just dirty and nasty.. Second you are going to offer shop from home. But only in the large city’s. There are elderly people even handicap people who could benefit from such service. But you leave out the small towns. Please reconsider
I recently purchased three cherry pies for a funeral luncheon and happy to tell you that that look like they put 6 cherries in a blender chop them up and then mix them in with some cherry compote and threw them in the pie. It was the worst excuse for a pie I’ve ever seen. I have purchased pies in the pass from Kroger’s without any complaints. I am happy to say that other desserts that I purchased that day for the luncheon didn’t have issues. I suggest if you get to the bottom of the barrel and it looks like that to throw it out.

I recently receive a counterfeit 100$ bill from the Kroger on scottsville road in Bowling Green KY. I was informed this by my bank. I was also informed that it is Kroger policy to not give their customers back their money if they receive a counterfeit from Kroger. I simply cashed a check. Kroger has my check and I am 100$ poorer. THANKS KROGER. Way to take care of your customers. By the way, I will no longer be a customer. I have received no satisfaction in this matter.
hello Iam roger Watts
I have filled out a application for employment on line for click list at the store on 4407 central ave hot springs ark. I have not heard back from any one on my application I was told to contact corp office.
Thank you for taken the time to reading this.
sincerely Roger Watts
I have just used the pick up and bought my groceries on the Kroger app. Very very very nice, they need to expand this by teaming up with Uber to pick your groceries up. The business would explode at the pick up site. If you are sick, handicapped, don’t have the time, car broke down. I hope someone from corporate reads this. A win win win
Kroger – Dorothy Lane Kettering, OH for reference, most likely occurs all over. As most people do, I often purchase items simply because they are on sale (with the Kroger card). I have found in three recent trips that items marked as on sale do not ring up accordingly. It is creating a major trust issue and I hate having to constantly check my receipt to make sure Kroger did what Kroger was supposed to do. I work in a high volume fast pace environment so I understand how many things can happen, and I dismissed the first mistake. I caught the second at the register and the third just put me in a bad mood when I got home. As a customer, you need a countermeasure to avoid this situation before I think Kroger is trying to purposely overcharge hoping that a fraction of the population doesn’t notice or return for the difference. If that’s your model, ok. If not, that’s what is happening.
i was at Smith’s Grocery store at Sunset and Mountain Vista on Dec 7, 2016. There were some workers from Advantage Solutions. A elderly man was in a motorized scooter in the store, he was on a aisle and a worker from Advantage Solutions was in the same aisle. The man tried to get by this female worker and she would not let him pass, when he tried she gave him this nasty look, and finally got out of his way. She was being RUDE towards this Kroger Customer. Her actions were uncalled for. I got a manager and was told her name was Marnie Thomas. As i was done shopping i walked passed an area where they were smoking and overheard her saying that Nigger was going to get me in trouble because I did not move for him. this is UNCALLED for, and demands ACTIONS taking against this individual. I do not care who you are, she is in your store working and a Kroger Customer get treated like this, and then her words she said are uncalled for. She may not work for Kroger, but she is in your store and should act accordingly.
To:
David Dillon – Chairman of the Board
W. Rodney McMullen – CEO
Michael Ellis – President and COO
I hereby inform you that I will no longer purchase anything from your company.
I have recently learned that you advocate, and contribute to, very liberal political policies with which I am in complete disagreement.
Paul Libke – Bye Bye. Go shop and Hobby Lobby.
What an idiot response to a customer. I hope you are Not part of the corporate staff, so if you are Not; MIND your own business.
I agree with this former customer and how rude of a comment from someone in a executive position.I will shop at hobby lobby and Meijer store. You now have lost 2 customers due to your rudeness .
Reference to the store located in Elizabethtown, KY near Town Mall on 31W. I wish there was a way to post a picture regarding the smoking area by the store entrance. This is area is utilized by employees and disgusting to say the least. The area is nasty and with disregarded cigarette butts on the ground. No one should have to smell the disgusting smoke while walking to the entrance. The store manager should designate a smoking area for the employees in the rear of the building. It is a terrible message too consumers.
I been shopping at Kroger over 20 yrs But lately everytime i get groceries I get a harassement no matter where i go in the store,he even disrespectful he even hollower down the aisle get my attention right front all the consumers I just it ignore him If nothing dont get done that means he can get by with it and yes i knw who he is
I have searched for an email address that would hopefully be forwarded to the proper person in regards to a wonderful employee that works at Kroger’s. I am not a fan of the store itself, but every time I go into this location, Reggie is professional. He always ceases his conversations with other employees when he sees customers approaching. He maintains professionalism at all times and in various ways. Such as, he has never flirted with me.
I purchased a $100 gift card with the expectation the online coupon for 20% off would be honored. I called the number for online issues and spoke with Crystal on Tuesday where I was insured instructions for receiving the $20 your company owes me would be sent via email within 48 hours. It’s now Friday and I have no email or $20. If I do not receive the money that’s owed, I will contact Corporate, file a complaint with the BBB and take the $10,000+ I spend annually at your store to a competitor. This is not the first time I’ve spend my time attempting to rectify a mistake on your part. Honor this coupon.
You people are all so stupid. This is NOT Kroger’s website!

I have been shopping at Kroger and got my points up to 710 which is .70 cents off of the fuel points. On my receipt it shows expired 12/31/2016 on fuel points. I even have a screen shot from the app showing our rewards were at 420 points .40 cents off expiring 12/31/2016. I go to fill up my car al my points are gone. Who can I contact about this. That is $700 dollars spent at Kroger and my .70 cents was erased. I am not happy about this. Please have someone contact me as I fill in my email address to post here. Texas.
This isn’t the official Kroger site. You need to contact them directly.
Dude these comments are from old people. It’s a miracle that they figured out how to even get to this page. Which, by the way, was by typing “Kroger headquarters.com” in the address bar. So just let them have their moment of glory. They don’t have to know that they’re pouring their hearts out about their Kroger woes to an unmoderated comment board that has no affiliation to Kroger. Just let it be man.
kroger in dublin on sawmill road in columbus, ohio has a person named Mike working in a aisles in a wine dept.not helpful, lazy, please have him working stoke room and at a nigth time away from customers.
kroger market place in dublin on sawmill road has the worst person named MIKE that works in the aisle in a wine dept.just plain rude, never wants to help, you should have him working at nigth and in the stock room away from people, just today i had asked him about wine that was set aside in a shopping card and he had told me that he does not know what they will do with it.is not he the very person working there,he did not even looked what i was talking about. i love kroger stores, everybody is very friendly and helpful, people like Mike give all the bad name.
Today I went to your store in Irvine, Ca. at 6300 Irvine Blvd. It was around 4pm. The lines were the longest I have ever seen. My checker said they were short checkers. Not only that but they are charging for paper and plastic bags which made the lines go slower. So you really make that much more $ selling us bags? Shame on you!
Very disappointed in your Lebanon, Ohio store. Constantly doing resets making it hard for anyone to find the product they wish to purchase. Most of your employees in this store are either rude, don’t know the products, or hide so they don’t have to deal with customers.
The produce is either too ripe and have gnats flying around it or so under ripened that a rock is softer. You promote sugary products and exclude the diabetics in the community.
I have taken to driving to Fairfield to Jungle Jim’s to get produce worth eating.
The Richland, MS 39218 Deli is the WORST. The Kroger employees are so lazy. The customer is completely ignored. I tried to make a complaint to the manager and was told by the cashier “don’t worry we are ignored also”.
I don’t like the new Dillons credit card with USbank. I have tried to pay it on line for two months and have been unable to make a payment. I have called USbank and the are not helpful. Their automated system is not user friendly. I would like to pay my balance and cancel my Dillons credit card.
Yes there a girl at the starlite location in owensboro ky that takes all kinds of pills and throwing cigarette at people when they ask for them and very rude her name is rochelle smith. But she the manager favorite pet so nothing has been done. There has so many people complaining on them and nothing has gotten done in 6 mths … she never has tonwork to midnights are hardly ever nights.
EVERYONE WATCH YOUR RECEIPTS FOR CORRECT PRICES!!! My wife and I just went to the Kroger Store in Covington, GA. on GA Hwy 20 and our entire scanned order was incorrect because the cashier was too busy talking on a headset with microphone attached to her head while scanning. These devices are usually high frequency and may have canceled out the scan on my wife’s Kroger card. The ENTIRE ORDER HAD TO BE RESCANNED TO CANCEL IT AND THEN RESCANNED WITH THE KROGER CARD!!!1 HOUR 30 MINUTES!! Oh then we checked the register tape and the price for Oscar Meyer Carving Board Turkey was entered incorrectly from the counter tag which read 2/$6.00 and rang up $4.69 for the one I was going to purchase. NOT ON THIS RIDICULOUS STORE.
My name is Barbara Sisson and I have worked for Kroger for 31 years. I had to take a personal leave of absence in early May. My husband also works for Kroger and has for 30 years. We have always enjoyed our jobs and made many friends over thr years. My poiny is I was out for 4 months before I was able to get any money from the union I know this has nothing to do with you during that time our frig went out, our water heater went out. our heating and air went out, my husband had emergency surgery, hah to go back to the hospital 3 times, mother in law had a major stroke. I wish to thank akroger for all thr concern and help! Not even a damn care was sent or a penny to help out. Thank you
I’m disappointed in the way Kroger has been dealing with two different incidents in the news lately. Both were instances where a cashier refused to wait on someone who was either a police officer or had a ‘police lives matter’ t-shirt on. The first was in Alexandria, LA and the second was in Spring TX. What I fail to understand was that in the Alexandria instance a manager was contacted immediately and witnessed the employee again refusing to serve someone just because they were a police officer. (I believe the cashier had a nametag reading AJ). But instead of the manager firing the employee immediately they harassed the officer because the officer threatened to contact corporate about it. Corporate finally gets involved about a week later with some vague “We’re taking steps to ensure this doesn’t happen again.” Which is a bull**** copout. bet you ran that press release by your lawyer to make sure it was vague enough. Don’t give us some crappy ‘privacy’ excuse. I don’t want to know who the employee is or who the manager is. I just want to know they were punished (either written up, demoted, fired…what?)
Thank you. I am so sick of people who refuse to serve our officers. No more Kroger. She should be fired. She has trouble with the police? What exactly does that mean? She should have graciously waited on her as anyone else. If Kroger has an emergency and needs to call the police – please don’t bother. That would be an insult to expect them to show up. This girl needs to go.
The incident in Alexandria La. Was so inappropriate, and un American. I just felt compelled to let y’all know I’m glad now your worthless company is out of San Antonio, because after what I just saw on Facebook is disgusting, and when y’all get robbed, I hope y’all will have the resources to protect your employees, cause I don’t think the police department should give two shakes of a rats ass about the crime being committed after the management’s response and the dumbass cashier’s BULLSHIT. In which the both of them should be FIRED and reported on their employment file. So very disappointing as an American company! I will be looking out for your response, just to see how committed y’all are. Will be watching like a HAWK ! ! Apparently y’all don’t care, p.c. is bullshit and you know it, otherwise you would be completely “OU OF BUSINESS”
Kroger Employee Refuses Service To Cop, Then The Company’s Response Was Awful
Alexandria, Louisiana – An employee at the Alexandria Kroger store refused to serve a police officer because they were a cop, and the company’s response has been less than stellar.
Pineville Police Department Pfc. Sabrina Farace advised us that she was wearing a police shirt when she was grocery shopping with her daughter at the Alexandria Kroger store. The checkout clerk saw her shirt, asked her if she was police officer, and then refused to check her out.
This is now come to the attention of the shoppers in Michigan. A response from corporate is called for don’t you think?
to krogers managment
YOUR CASHIERS AND MANAGERS REFUSE TO SERVE POLICE OFFICERS. I WOULD NEVER SHOP IN A STORE LIKE THAT. SO A BOYCOTT IS ON FOR YOUR STORES AND ALL OF YOUR AFFILIATES. DISGUSTED WITH YOUR STORES MENTALITY. YOU BETTER HOPE NONE OF YOUR STORES NEED THE POLICE IN A HURRY.

I was a meat cutter for 5 years. So I know what I’m talking about. I was in your Kendallville store and bought some ground chuck that was on sale. I took it right home and refridgerated it, and by evening it was brown, gross looking. I wouldn’t dare eat that. What evidently happened was they were grinding old meat with new meat to sell it quick. This is an old trick to get rid of old, outdated meat. Only shady butchers and bad businesses do this. So disgusting. I am seriously considering not shopping Kroger anymore, and taking my business back to walmart. This is unexceptable!
I my name is David l I work at one of your Kroger store we git called up front to bag if we don’t git the stuff on the shelf the cammder will go some where also to shop.
Extremely POOR CUSTOMER service at your Cookeville, Tennessee store. Did not take my Catalina Coupon that were manufacturers coupon. I will start shopping at walmarts super centers . After being a 23 year customer at Kroger I am very mad at your store & the rude way in which I was treated—-Walmart takes ALL coupons !!!!
I just want to say I applied for a job online never was contacted so I contacted the store which therefore manager contacted whim ever to call me for phone interview then sat up store interview. . Not once during the interview at the store was i explained to the position which I was being interviewed for nor the shift or pay. All that was asked of me was those silly assessment questions that are online and also integrated why I couldn’t work on Sundays which I explained was religion( I go to church) and she even asked if I go both morning and night .I’m like SERIOUSLY! Anyway before that not having anything explained about position ect she had no intention considering me.so I was a little upset that my time was even waisted..sorry I even called to ask about my application and only reason I had is because I kept receiving emails about them hiring after I already applied
Kroger in Shelbyville Ky marketplace. First off I have over 100 members that I recommend to go to this store. I teach others and help the community by learning to save money by using coupons and buying products that are on sale. I have called several times regarding this store and how they treat customers who have coupons for products they are buying. They are not consistent with there policy and over and over they continue to make my members with coupons a hassle. Here is what a member stated today 8-30-16 Shelbyville ky Kroger store “Ok, FYI: I went to Kroger today & had a rough time! The cashier wasn’t rude, but was tired & ready to go home. Evidently they are changing their coupon policy. First thing she tells me as soon as she sees my coupons is that even if you divide your purchase into separate transactions, you can only use 4 like coupons per day. She had to call the manager a couple of times. The first was concerning overage. They didn’t want me to use a coupon that would create overage. The manager was nice, but I asked the cashier about getting a copy of the coupon policy. She said go to the service desk. I did. They told me they didn’t have a copy & even if they did they wouldn’t be allowed to give it to me. She thought it was ridiculous, too. How are we supposed to know the policy if they won’t give us a copy and all stores are different? I literally only get the Courier & local paper. It’s not like I have so many multiples! On a positive note, I was finally able to get my Bic razors, Oxi Clean & Irish Spring!” I know how she feels and if this stuff continues I will have to recommend another KROGERS. They really need not to make it a hassle. People ask what the coupon policy is and it’s not even close to what you advertise online. They make up as they go and pick and choose who they hassle or not. Tell me what you need to make this stop and yes I have proof. I have been thinking about for sometime maybe call the news and get all 100 or more members involved to speak up on how people who want to save get treated. I tell all my members to respect the staff and cashiers. Please help us in this matter.
I have loved the University Kroger…I am o.k. with scouts out front or asking to donate when checking out but I do draw the line at linen salespeople in the Yogurt as I found yesterday…We call these types that jump out on you “mall terriorists” and usually see them around Christmas. This young guy did everything but put a pillow case over my head to try to get my attention ..I told him I was not interested and he said something demeaning like “come on this won’t hurt you to look at this”….I tried going to the customer service area to complain only to find one guy busy with two girls. I really think someone who wants to buy linens and groceries at the same time will likely go to Target or Walmart…This is my fault for shopping on Sunday, I guess, it was emergency…
Why is it taking so long for moderation?
Because this isn’t Krogers website. In fact this website is not affiliated with Kroger in any way. This is a site that has information about different companies headquarters like the address, phone number, etc. No one from Kroger is even reading this or has any way to know that you have posted it.
I VISITED YOUR CLEVELAND MS STORE TO BUY DINNER AND ONE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES HER NAME WAS LASONDRA WORKS IN THE DELI SHE WAS VERY VERY RUDE TO ME SHE ACT AS IF SHE DIDN’T WANT TO TAKE MY ORDER SO I ASKED FOR ANOTHER LADY TO TAKE MY ORDER I FEEL IF YOU DON’T LIKE TO BE COURTESY OR POLITE THAN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT FOR YOU .

Hello? Does anyone at Kroger even care?
The KROGER Pharmacy has an employee that treated my mother very poorly and denied her medication because she didn’t speak her name out loud my mother presented her driver’s license instead due to all the fraudulent activities that have taken place as far as identity theft is concerned. This is Kroger in Toledo Ohio 1435 Reynolds Rd. The employee’s name was J.D. this is all that I know and this has happened to my mom by this same person before! Now I don’t want to have to go to litigation about my mother so I suggest you do something about this particular employee. These are elderly persons that should not be treated in this manner! Thank you for your time.
I got a coupon from Facebook from Kroger it said $60 off any $70! Purchase. So I went to Kroger and they told me it was fake! I am calling headquarters tomorrow.
And you actually believed this said coupon was from Kroger’s? “$60 off any $70 purchase”????
Am a Kenyan, currently living in Kenya. Am a student persuing bachelor of pharmacy.Am unable to complete my studies due to poor background. I would like to seek employment from the company even if it is online data entry..I would appreciate if my request is accepted
You go to human resources online
We shop Kroger in Barboursville WV, I don’t know if you’ve changed your bottlers for your water, but the last 2 cases we’ve bought, the little ring seal at the cap is so ragged and sharp you cut yourself opening the bottle. This is making us want to switch brands. Been buying it for years, and I need these to have water where I work. I am not kidding my index finger is all cut up. Please address this with your supplier!!
You reported it online to the FDA food and drugs administration under recalls
I want to start a support program for employees that didn’t know their parents.I enjoy shopping at Krogers.Brittany,Taylor,Charity and Will are my favorite employees. They also have a excellent 1877 call department.Thank you.
That would be amazing.
I need to contact corporate for an incident involving one of your stores. My daughter left a class ring in the bathroom at kroger in washington courthouse ohio. They told me it was turned in and they had the ring. After a visit to the store and various phone calls they informed me they had wrapped the ring in a paper towel and an employee threw it away. This is ridiculous the ring was over 300.00 I want something done or I will make sure everyone knows.
I also need to contact someone about receiving only $899 when having a check cashed for $1000! All cash given was in crisp $100 dollar bills and crisp $10 dollar bills! The employee that wouldn’t fess up could not add up a money order for $249. and $3 dollars out for cashing the check and my mistake after he even only came up with $900 I had to run to bathroom due to standing in line. While relieving myself I counted and yes there was only $900 in total but after counting drawer they refuse to give me my $100 and actually $1 dollars from money order for $249 extra $1 dollar! They think I should just take being shorted $100 due to having bladder problem and employee so frustrated unable to count money order and $3 charge from only crisp $100 and $10 dollar bills and I only receive first names from 2 men support to be supervisors that just brush me off so where is human relations I only want what is mine! Just like to say hope you guys are having a fantastic day and keep up the good work thank you for all you do .
I want to give a compliment to Norma Bryant who works at the Kroger in Martinsville, Va. She works in the deli/bakery and she is an awesome cake decorator. She has did many cakes for my family and they are great. She is always nice and smiling and treats everyone like a friend. The customers refer to her as “the nice one” because some of the other employees in the deli/bakery are not so friendly but Norma is always a shining star!
My name is Deborah Elmore and I am a casher at the Ivymont store on Midlothian Tnpk, store #523. There seems to be a severe lack of communication between floor supervisors and management. I am on disability and have explained this several times to several managers, but no one seems to care. Even brought a note in from my doctor. I feel like I’m talking Chinese to these people. What is their prolem there? I’m really getting rather annoyed at the lack of communication, yet I get calls about taking store surveys? Someone should get with the program in this store. There are other disabled people working here also. I’m not looking for special treatment, but I must adhere to my doctors rules regarding work. Yes, I spoke to my direct manager, gave him the note and he seemed to understand what was required. I am getting rather annoyed at being ignored. Please tell someone to get with it in this store!!
The New Baltimore -Chesterfield store has the most unprofessional employees! EVER. THE CASHIER USED VULGAR LANGUAGE & BECAME HOSTILE! THE PREGNANT MANAGER OR CUSTOMER SERVICE EMPLOYEE LIED BY FABRICATING A STORY TO TRY & COVER THE CASHIERS VULGAR LANGUAGE & HOSTILE BEHAVIOR!
The cashier also belittled the manager Little John, stating he was new and doesn’t know what he’s talking about when it came to store policy has procedure. I was shocked that management allowed their employee to harass their consumer as well as belittle upper management.
Great job on your managementbteam! What cashier starts freaking out & throwing abusive slurs to their consumer over a coupon! A cracker coupon! Don’t you think perhaps management should have the employee take a deep breath and excused herself. As that is certainly understandable Behavior! But then again what kind of person fabricates a story to try to justify her cashiers disgusting behavior. I simply just took a deep breath and walked out
Unstable behavior*

I went with my wife to check out counter and the cashier refused to take us, went to the other counter, put my shopping on belt cashier said you have to go to self check out, it was very disrespectful, I called the manager of store and he look like least concerned, lost my business forever, if again you guys use the work easy and quick check out I will
take you to court.

Here’s how my final work write up day went before i quit. My Manager showed me 10 hour old print outs of what select sections where empty, no pictures of the whole department. He had no photo’s of the whole department when I left at 9:04 pm at night. The last thing I did was stock the banana’s with 5 boxes in front of my closing manager, and said I needed to get them done before I left(they agreed). I have to sometimes stock the banana shelf 3 times within a shift on busy nights. Pictures 10 hours later showed the banana’s empty? So I get off at 9pm, the store is open for 3 hours, guess some people bought them obviously all up. He shows me pictures of half a section empty of green’s, no prepared greens where in the backroom in the water tubs, like most usually found when I came into work. No lettuce or celery. So I did almost 5 carts of product with the closing manager present that night, had no help, had to help sack groceries, of course the head cashier’s where asking me up front after 8pm to come help them up front, and the night manager agreed that I had my hands full. Had 3 carts of cardboard that I had no time to compact because the day crew left their trash on me to do. Had 3 carts of trash to do, 4 boxes of produce to be red bagged to do. The department needed sanitized & no time to do it. I cleared 5 palette’s in the backroom, no pictures of the palette’s cleared & taken empty back to trucks. So I had one most important decision to do before I left & the night manager agreed empty the old produce trash, why because they have a gnat problem, customers constantly complaining. Missing plastic gasket for the floor bleacher, so it leaks all over the place including clothes. I know some secrets & the health department will hear about them. Sarah is leaving to another store as a assistant dept manager, elmer is always checking out groceries, and I quit. That means that department is short handed 3 or actually 4 people, because Kevin only does what he wants the salad wall. 8.25 a hour good luck! No spare shirt, can u imagine the shirt condition I put that poor thing thru after 4 months as to why it went in the trash? I asked for a spare shirt 2 weeks before! So I have some nights I have a closing manager call me out in the parking lot to do carts, when there are two sackers & a utility worker being paid to do it, and they call me repeatedly out of my produce department to help? lol

Alot of fruits & vegetables that are perfectly edible that isnt being red bagged & is being thrown away. The sinks are repeatedly being found with veggies sitting in them, & not replaced in the cooler. If I leave veggies in the sink I get griped at. Repeatedly finding boxes, crates of veggies on the floor before I come in. RPC’s of veggies scattered thruout the cooler especially on truck days spread all out everywhere in the cooler. Banana’s are repeatedly waiting since 5am in the morning till I close and have time to aired them out 8:30pm at night. Finding that when I come in the floor has not been stocked the temp log’s have not been filled out thru out the day since I had prior the night before stocked the floor. Boxes of fruits and veggies are not being dated when unloading off the palettes. I’ve told front end head cashiers I need time to load carts before they are to call me to the front, so that I can continue when I have left off instead of getting disorientated, it ruins the flow of the floor getting stocked. I’ve been instructed by my union representative to keep a log for when I leave the produce department to stock at the front & when I return to the department. I’ve told the head cashiers that I have no problem helping them but from 8pm to 9pm my close time, two sackers & one utility worker(they are scheduled 10pm to 11pm shifts) should be plenty enough to maintain the front area so that I may get some work done & get the cleaning done before 9pm so that I will not get any over scheduled time especially when I have to air out greater then 34 boxes of banana’s, compact the cardboard, seperate plastic from the cardboard, and throw the department trash away(sometimes hunting for a key)and most of all, since I don’t have any help. We had nights where they would call both people from produce during close shifts to be up front, bakery nor deli does such. How can you sell produce if there are empty slots? When I am stocking the floor it is really the only time that I have time to check for bad product sitting on the floor, that has been missed from the day shifts. Gnats hovering around bags & bags of onions stack in the front table, with no bad onion in sight. Gnats love papayas, tomatoes, cantaloupe, all fruits. Somehow water is getting from the sink into the potatoes & onions bags, I’ve repeatedly found ruined product usually once a week or 2 weeks. Prices weekly I find 4 prices missing, price holders broken, prices completely wrong. Repeatly come in the produce that has been red bagged is still sitting in the back room waiting to be placed in the front area, if it goes bad before its sold its a total loss to the department & store. Let’s see I’ve worked with elmer, sarah, luis(more) probably a week total to two since I’ve worked in produce & I have closed almost 80-90% of my shifts alone, that should say something why I get upset when I’m treated unfairly & being ganged up on, guess it maybe time to bring my resume out to prove my point once & for all. This is my first report of many more to come, this one written in one night.

Here’s how my mothersday weekend started & ended. Thursday, Friday, Saturday I closed and stocked the floor, 20 shelves of product was empty the following day before I came in. Sunday had 2 hours to stock the floor, and was sacking groceries for the whole night, was asked to work over to close the flower tent in the parking lot because a associate had injured her back. Had 10 mins to clean up that night only. Every day I come in most of the time the day shift leave’s there cardboard & trash for me to empty on top of the cardboard & trash that I produce. Most of the time on truck days the bananas are waiting for me from 5am till close 830pm for me to air them out up 34 boxes a truck day alone. Repeatedly I find veggies in the sink from the prior shift & have been threatened to be written up if I leave veggies in the sink 4hrs for the morning shift to finish preparing them, because when I come in there are no prepared wet wall veggies repeatedly, so that means I have to find time to prepare them on top of all the things I have to do within a 6hr shift. I’m costantly called up to sack groceries, and usually if there is suppose to be a associate closing with me out of a miracle they are up there checking groceries out, or they where called in early to check out groceries & not do any produce work. I come in repeatedly I have a large list of things to complete, but was told at my last write up that the produce department was to be full & clean of old product to make the customers happy. What do these people do for 8 hours exactly, that I am required to do twice as much within a 6 hour time span, with no help? I come in & the day shift has product that needs red bagged, and told I need to find time to red bag it to place on the floor, the way I have been doing it when I am culling I immediately red bag as I am taking the product off the floor, why can’t they? Repeatedly I have to hunt for water bottles, clip boards, red bags, a knife, because they are not placed within there proper locations.
Every person that is in Kroger’s that has asked for help, I usually try to do my best to help, if time permits to give them help, does anyone help me? Alls I get from my Chiefs is threats of write ups, the saying goes to many chiefs & not enough indians is the problem. Seriously corporate needs to look at the video camera footage & see who really does most of the work for the produce department, and see who is always walking out of the department on breaks all the time, check the back recieving camera who’s going out the back door on breaks while your at it. I’m talking since I’ve been working there since Jan 21, of this year. The footage will prove that I spend more time then any other employee within my department within my department. Another case in point when is Manager Fletcher going to higher more front-end help so that the produce & dairy department people can get there job done, instead of baby sitting the front?

I was shocked ` no ‘appalled’ today to see that Kroger stores are now selling “American Flag” lounge chairs (MADE IN CHINA). As an 87 year old Navy Veteran. I resent this disgrace! ~Would you sit on a real American flag draped over your couch in your living room?
Hi Kroger President and Vice President I sent you a message on Instagram.
Can you send a message back on Instagram please?

Hello whom ever this may concern,
My name is Stefine James, a very loyal Kroger customer, until now. I recently purchased a bag of Kroger brand “Smokehouse Teriyaki Jerky” and I gave it to my 4 year old daughter, only to realize after her complaining that it was MOLD COVERED and smelled like rotting, decaying, spoiled food. I literally cannot believe I got something like this from my local Kroger shelf. I can only hope and pray that my child doesn’t get very ill following this unbelievable episode. I am very very pissed, very unhappy as a customer and if you can’t understand my frustration, you are not human. I am going to upload along with this email some pictures of the package I opened. I could only take a few before discarding because it smelled so Awful. I made this Purchase 04/14/16 @ 07:18pm 722 13 94 049. And based on the packaging this item was BEST BY 04/25/17 EST. So please explain to me why my daughter would be eating something rotten if it should be good another year. I am so upset right now I could just literally lose my mind. How does such a big corporation allow a mistake like this. I have contacted 10101 Landing Way Kroger and notified them of my finding to prevent this happening to someone else’s child The lady on the phone offered to replace it but by this time I had already gotten rid of the package. I am very very upset and I hope you guys to something to resolve this issue. I may never shop at Kroger again and I spend probably $500 twice a month at your store. Im furious!!! FIX THIS CRAP
Hello, My name is David I filled a applacation and there isn’t a third step to the applacation when you’re able can you please reply back to me. Thank you!
I have been a loyal shopper to Kroger for over 15 years. Sure, problems do come up. However, the employees and management have always listened attentively and corrected any situations that we had. Sorry about the problems elsewhere, however, the Kroger stores in Knoxville TN have always been great. Nothing but nice things to say about them, and enjoy spreading the good word about their “Fuel Bucks” program. I travel a lot for my job and enjoy the Fuel Bucks discounts every month. Kroger is a great store with good prices. The Kroger Family of Employees is a good one. Hope you are around for a long, long time.
A very satisfied customer!
Kudos to great customer service in your floral dept. at the Newport Ky Store. I would like to take a minute to tell you how impressed I was with the courtesy and care that I received by Lindsay and Nancy on Veteran’s Day. Customer service seems to be a thing of the past these days, but you and your upper management should be very proud to know what great assets you have with having the two of them as your employees. I walked out of there with beautiful arrangements that Lindsay and Nancy helped to put together for me at the last minute. I hope that Kroger’s has some sort of employee recognition program that you can reward these two ladies that went above and beyond to satisfy the customer. I believe they genuinely enjoyed helping me, because the genuinely enjoy what they do. Thanks again!
i was just informed that the krogers on grosebeck and metro has closed do you know what is going there i have a friend that is just shocked about this . the krogers that is being built at thirteen and little mack won’t be opened till 2916. why was’nt this in the papers about the closing . there are seniors that shop there . i shop at the krogers on 9 mile and on jefferson and marter in st clair shores . we would like to know what is going to go there.
I also want to lodge a complaint about the sore at 16 mile & Groesbeck in Clinton Twp MI closing. This store is ALWAYS busy and the parking lot AlWAYS full. How could you decide to close a store that was supported by the business of the Fox Chase Condos (496 units– I know because I have lived in this condo complex for 19 yrs), Charter Oaks Co Ops, Peachtree Apartments, Rudgate Mobile Home Community, and, Farmbrook Manor Apartments…as well as all of the residential homes in the community, all of which are in walking distance to this store? Where are all of these poor people going to shop who waljedt to this store previously? You did our community a great disservice by closing this store. It’s very sad that no one cares about our local community’s shopping needs. We didn’t even find out about this until 3 weeks before the stores closing date, and that was via our local community newsletter.. Not the store. The store put up tiny signs 2 weeks prior to closing. Shame on you. I can shop at Meijer…no problem…but what about all of the elderly folks around me that do not drive? How sad!!!!!!
Hi Kroger Headquarters were remodeling the Hoover Rd Kroger in Grove city Ohio 43123 and get automatic hand dryers and touchless sink with hot water and make it into a market place and have live lobsters back and hire the construction workers to do it? call me or leave me messages?
I shop at the Sterling Hts Kroger. The manager Ed was very helpful and his concern was genuine. I have Celiac and I have to be Gluten Free. Ed asked me some questions about Celiac so he could try to better stock some items that are GF. I love this store cause they care!
I called the Forest Park Oh pharmacy yesterday afternoon asked when their drive up window closed. Was told 5pm. I was minutes away and it was 4:45. I said I am on my way and need to pick up my prescription. I got their closed sign on the window. I called them on my cell phone and said I was outside she said they just closed. I said it is 6 mins til 5. She said just a min and came back and said it was broken and I would have to come in. I said ok I will park and come in. FYI I have bad knees so it was painful for me to do this. I got into the store and she had pulled down the gates and there was no one to be seen. This was blood pressure medication and I had not taken any that day. I again picked up my phone got their recording and left them a not so friendly message. This morning I transferred that and all future prescriptions to Walgreens. You are a disgrace and the person that did this should be fired.
Well, I’ve just read several nasty comments about Kroger store personnel. My comment is the opposite. I’ve been shopping at the Krogers on Groesbeck in Clinton Twp., MI since it changed from Great Scott. The personnel at the store have been and are presently very courteous and helpful. Over the years I’ve switched from many brand name products to Kroger brands. I’ve just found out this store as well as the one at 13 & Harper are closing. I can’t believe the one I shop at (16 & Groesbeck) doesn’t do well. There’s an extremely large condo complex very near the store, my established neighborhood and others to support this store. I understand a new Krogers is being built several miles from me. I really don’t want to change stores but especially in winter I think I’ll be forced to shop at Meijers or Value Center, two stores, minutes from my home. I’ve spoken to several neighbors and other customers who also find your decision to close this store a horrible one. If Kroger really cared to keep their customers, you could have surveyed existing customers on your decision. J. Dimmer
I have sent a email regarding the Mockingbird location in Dallas Tx.
This is for Mr. Michael Ellis, you need to train your management staff at this location way better than they are if any. I was a loyal customer at many of your locations and as I sat in the eating area the security office that I conversate with from time to time told me he hated to do this but the manager on duty asked him to get me to leave as I stayed i guess too long in the store. If you have time limits as such, please post them where people will be advised. I’m here at Whole Foods on Mckinney Ave in uptown Dallas TX and hope those who read this that it pays to pay more and be treated better.
anyone who wants further info on this I will YELP this and post on Pissed Consumer too.
I recently called your corporate offices and a lady took my complaint and typed it as I spoke. She then told me it would be sent to upper management and I should hear a reply by e-mail or phone soon ! YOU MUST GET A LOT OF COMPLAINTS !!
Two weeks have passed and nothing from anyone !! So here is my solution.
I AM SENDING YOU MY KROGER CARD ! And you can stick it in your ASS !!!
I have shopped at this store for over 25 years. It has turned into a piece of shit.
I will be taking my business to Albertsons or Wally World !!
I will never go to your store again.
By the way the store is 313 E. Pioneer Parkway, Grand Prairie, TX .
It is filthy nasty and never has shelves in order !!
What do you people do when the store is closed ? You certainly don’t restock !
Your management needs a refresher course in how to run a store.
Employees never smile. Store is filthy. Gnats cover the produce .
YOU CAN BET YOUR SWEET ASS I WON’T BE BACK !
GOOD RIDDANCE ………………………………….
I sent the following E-mail to the Customer Service people about a problem at a Pharmacy. The E-mail was as follows: I picked up my mothers prescription drugs at the Kroger Pharmacy in Sidney, Ohio today at around 12:00 pm today. I dealt directly with the Pharmacist. She told me that they had just arrrived, and she would check them in and give them to me. She did and I paid for them and left. Got home and my mother said she was missing one of them. I had not paid for the one I was missing. So I called the Pharmacy (937-498-4116) to see what was what. Got the normal “press this number” recording and talked with a lady and asked to speak with the pharmacist. The lady told me that the Pharmacist was a little busy. I informed the lady I was also busy and needed to know why I did not get all of the medicines. I asked the lady if she was physically at the Sidney Pharmacy location, knowing that you have phone centers that field pharmacy calls. She said yes she was. So again I told her I wanted to speak with the Pharmacist. She told me that she could give me the Pharmacist direct phone line. I asked her if it was her voice mail or if it was a line where the Pharmacist would answer the phone herself and talk with me. She said it was the pharmacist and she would answer it herself and talk with me. The Number (937-497-7411) the lady gave me seemed ok because it is a Sidney, Ohio phone number so I figured it was Ok. I hung up the phone with the lady and dailed the number she gave me. To my surprise it was the same “press this number” recording I had gotten just moments before. So I pressed “0” again to talk to the Pharmacy Staff and you’ll never gues who was on the phone. Was the exact same lady I was just talking with that said this new number was the Pharmacists’ direct line. Boy she sure was surprised when I asked to talk with the Pharmacist and told her I was the same guy that just got off the phone with her a few moments ago and that she had given bad info. I again asked her if she was physically at the Kroger Pharmacy in Sidney, Ohio. She again told me she was and then tried to tell me that the Medicine in question had not arrived yet and would not be there until after 1:00 pm today. I told her she needed to put the Pharmacist on the phone so I could get this matter straighten out. She finally put me thru to the Pharmacist. I told the Pharmacist what had happened and was told that the lady I first talked with was not physically at the Pharmacy in Sidney, Ohio. More than Likely she was from a call center probably in Cincinnat, Ohio. The Pharmacist appologized and ended up giving the Medicine to my Mom for free. I would like for you to fix this problem. Fill free to contact me for any additional info and your solution to this problem about your call center people lying to your loyal customers and smearing the Kroger Brand Name.
This is the reply I got back that fixed the problem:
Dear Ronald,
Thank you for contacting Kroger Customer Connect.
I am sincerely sorry for your negative experience with our Pharmacy Associate at our Kroger store located at 2917 W Alex Bell Rd. We have shared your comments with the Store Management Team so they are aware and can work to correct the issue with this employee.
Going forward, another avenue for you to provide feedback is speaking directly with a manager at the store. It is important to the managers to hear directly from the customer about areas that need improvement as well as our successes.
Your comments are important to us. should you have further questions or concerns. Alternatively, you may reply directly to this email. We would love to hear from you.
Thank you for shopping with us!

The IDIOT who responded did not even get the right store. How can we as Loyal Customers depend on them to do anything right??????
went on my first big mega sale shopping spree these last two weeks.Got some really good deals.Just wondering when the next 5 for 5 will be.I need time to prepare. Thanks
Yesterday afternoon I had the worst experience of my life shopping at the Kroger on 3205 Main Street in Frisco Tx. I am a coupon user and while shopping I was approached by a Kroger manger by the name of Lincoln. Lincoln looked into my cart and said to me, “your aren’t wiping out my shelves are you”? At first I thought he must be joking, since I couldn’t believe that he would even say that serious to a customer while shopping. He continued to speak to me about couponimg and what I can cannot do. I replied and told him that wasn’t doing anything wrong. I walked away to the next grocery aisle, while putting more food into my cart I saw that he was near me. I felt to need to explain to him that I was legitametly using coupons and not trying to scam him or something. He was making me feel like a criminal. He was being so rude and talking down about couponing to me. For the rest of my shopping experience i kept seeing him in the aisles where I was shopping. It was like he was watching to see what I was putting in the cart. Ridiculous!!! I started to feel so uncomfortable that I just decided to buy what was in my cart and go home. But then at the checkout counter there he was again. Hovering over the poor kid trying to ring up my groceries. After all my groceries were rung up he then in my face told the cashier to recheck all my coupons and make sure I didn’t stack them. I felt like he was trying to tell me I couldn’t use my coupons at all! I am well aware of all the coupon rules at Kroger. I don’t need to be embarrassed at the checkout counter. I didn’t even pull out the rest coupons at that point. I just wanted to run out of there as fast as i could. I wasn’t trying to clean out the store. Just shopping for my family of 6 and doing it in the way that saves me money like anyone else would do. I’ve never been treated so poorly grocery shopping in my Life. So disappointing. I will never go back there. He was so unprofessional and he also was treating his employees poorly as well. Maybe he was having a bad day. But this is your job. Separate your personal issues. I hope that this message is read by someone who cares about their business because obviously Lincoln doesn’t. He’s just annoyed with coupon users.
You lost a loyal Kroger costumer. I am very disappointed in Lincoln.

The Kroger Pharmacy, Kedron Peachtree City, Georgia Store: I went in to have a “controlled substance” prescription filled. Lisa, the pharmacist, gave me a 15-minute dissertation on how the DEA issues protocol of pharmacology allotment to her pharmacy based on her customer’s needs and since I did not use one particular pharmacy according to HER computer profile, I was basically a bad person (in so many words.) Since my prescription was written by a different doctor from the one from last month, I also was basically rendered and judged by LISA a doctor shopper. Oh, also since I had another “controlled substance” filled at a CVS last week, which was a cough syrup, that essentially synched my judgement by this Lisa, who took it upon herself to fill my prescription this one time, but no more in the future.
Everything we do now in this day and time is computerized, and there is not one thing that anyone does is private any more. This is not the 1940’s Nazi Germany Communist Central.
By the way LISA and KROGER pharmacy, I will never dart your door or will any of my extensive family or friends again. They are all outraged by the way I was treated going to your facility because Rite Aid in Tyrone (Tom and Min) was out of my meds and since I was sick, I did not stay in the cooped-up office to cough on everyone to wait on meds there. (Rite Aid is my pharmacy of choice by the way and the people there are nice. They do not give lectures, they are not rude, and they do not slam people in front of 6 other customers to deal with private matters.)
LISA – YOU ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND GIVE THE PHARMACY A REALLY HORRIFIC NAME. QUIT BEFORE YOU LOSE KROGER ANY ADDITIONAL PROFITS
Nazis are fascist not communist. They are the exact opposite of communists. Communists and nazis hate each other and that was a big reason why WWII started. Nazis are right wing ultra conservative. Communists are left wing ultra liberal. I just wanted you to know for next time.
The Kroger Pharmacy, Winston Ave. location, has the worst women pharmacist ever. Rude and bossy. Acts as if she is a dr. and when you ask her why she is so rude, she hits the roof with her mouth. Just transferred all of our RX’s out of there.
let the muslims wear their head dresses in your stores while they work and you will lose a lot of business……mine is gone….I and my family have shopped there my entire life.no longer.
If they wear a baseball cap is that okay? How about one of those big foam cowboy hats? What if a white employee wore a scarf around her head bc she was having a bad hair day? Would that lose your business too? My bet is that you’re not really concerned with the head apparel of Kroger employees. I bet you just hate Muslims regardless of what they wear on their heads.
I have been going to Kroger by CV off of Brambleton Ave. For years. Never again.. The manger. Can’t control her employees. Her and assistance manger areare hard to find. When I need to talk to them about cheese or the employees playing around. Front and even in the back area. The one with red hair is a joke to Kroger company No body were’s there uniform. Even the manger and assistance manger walks right me and doesn’t say a word.

The Management Team At Your 2100 Whipp Road Kettering,Oh Are Very Rude,Cocky & Have No Idea What Customer Service Or Respect Is.I Often Shop There Bc Its Convient.I Notice That They Treat There Workers Unethical & There Department Heads Are NEVER In There Destinated Area (Department) But Else Where. EX: I Waited 20 mins For A Jeanette To Come To Floral Shop & She Was Very Nonchalant & Uninterested In Doing Her Job. If You Don’t Like Your Department Move Around. The Store Manager Is Always Engaging in Conversation With Management Or Harassing Other Employees On Does Or Don’t But I Rarely Every See Her On The Floor Or Being Genuine. Please Pay Attention To Your Employees & Customers Complaints. This Store Is NOT Tasteful,Bright & Welcoming As Before. Until Management Change And Employees Are Respected I Will NOT RETURN
Why Are You Capitalizing Every Word In Your Post? That Takes Work To Do And I’m Not Sure I Understand What It Means. Do You Just Really Love The Shift Bar?
store 119 Colorado Springs, CO
I want to let you know you should be concerned about the management of this store. Pam and Danny have no clue what they are doing. The back room is a meh. They treat the workers as if they have no feelings at all. They run a dirty sss, the stock is not done and they are about the rudest pair to walk the earttore. People who do not work are left alone and the people who work have to cover everyone elses butt. They are refused personal time off, they are written up for not coming to work sick (vomiting and diaherrea). Store morale is probably one of the lowest in the entire chain. You are actually loosing a lot of money for the waste there. You really should care and check this matter out.
Likewise For Their Ohio …Whipp Road Store Smh.
Kroger is not a great company to work for. Managers of kroger are worse to work for. They favoritism not great workers over great workers.
Kroger has a budget? 12 hours a week. Who can live on 12 hours a week? Bullll
I bet all the employees at kroger are not happy working for kroger.
want to let you know you should be concerned about the management of this store. Bob and Kim have no clue what they are doing…. They treat the workers as if they have no feelings at all. Worse managers

Extremely poor customer service at your Thornton road location Atlanta ga
Manager Joe Chambers made situation worse. He does not have the skills to be in a managers position. You have lost a loyal customer
I couldn’t agree with you more mr.joe chambers isn’t at all qualified to manage a store KROGER SAYS :CUSTOMERS COME FIRST apparently they were lying, mr.joe chambers needs to go back to managment training!!
Very disappointed with you, your last weeks ad advertised Athena melons went to Hartselle Ala store no melons but they had cantaloupes (which have a different flavor) went to Decatur Ala store same thing & was told they would not be getting any . You stopped carrying the fresh salad dressing that I always bought in the produce & placed in its stead some awful looking dressing that I would never buy.! Can’t ring the bell in your meat dept & get 2 pork chops thick cut for stuffing. The man in the meat dept is busy filling the case & is not friendly at all if I say hi to him he barely speaks. You advertise oranges by the each, sometimes which I think is dispictable, your customers are not stupid. You really are driving me to shop Publix, which is a friendly full service store & when they advertise an item they have it! I don’t like the Bait & Switch tactics. I live in Hartselle & would like to shop here but Publix in Decatur is looking better . Wake up Kroger your customers are Not stupid! The ladies in our club agree”
I just want to say that your post was very high quality- with the exception of misspelling “despicable”, there are no spelling errors or huge grammatical mistakes and its coherent and quite easy to understand. I particularly liked your use of the phrase “in its stead”. But I just have one question- why is charging for oranges individually an example of Kroger treating their customers like they’re stupid. That one really confused me……
Maybe you confuse too easily. Why don’t you get a job instead of haunting this board?
