I can not get a refund from Groupon, as many of you have said it was not your doing.I made a appointment I went to the appointment, but because I was told they couldn’t help me, and that she would not be redeeming the voucher. I contacted groupon on the 21 of july voucher didn’t expire until july 24th, I was offered groupon bucks, that was fine, but was only given 24hrs to use it, when I replied asking that the groupon bucks not have a limited time of use.
I get a reply back saying that I’m not even getting the groupon bucks, because it’s local, and only had 3 days after purchase to get a refund .Really please explain to me How would a customer know in advance that the business would refuse to cash in the voucher. There telling me to give the groupon to someone else to use.

Unsatisfied customer demanding a refund. I bought an AMF Bowling Groupon & tried to get a refund a few days before it expires since we had a failed attempt to use it because the alley had it reserved for a private party the day we decide to go. After requesting a call back I was told that I was not allowed to get a refund for a purchase I cant even use before it expires. All of our Campaign we originally agreed on are wrong!! Out originally Rep Emily Reid went MIA as soon as our campaigns went live and refuses to work with us. We were then redirected to Groupon Merchant Support which is absolutely terrible. All though everyone there is super nice.. they cannot follow instructions. We asked to modify certain campaigns because Emily had done them wrong. I’ve worked with Savannah, Sara Lin, and Jody who all cause more damage then good.. I asked each of them clarify our groupons to avoid confusion to our patients (which was not done), we wanted to remove a whitening kit, from our groupons, that I had requested months ago which was not done, AND the pat that really angered me is they wanted to take money away from the amount we receive. I have asked to speak with a manager/supervisor and apparently that position does not exist in the company… All I can do is submit and escalation which in the end goes right back to Merchant Support. I’ts a never ending cycle of frustration. Mind you we receive about 5 Groupons/day THAT IS $200 A DAY YOU ARE GOING TO LOOSE GROUPON.
I am wawed by how many complaints people have towards groupon. It’s sad that we trust this site to save a little money, while others get richer by doing this things to us customers!! Do Not EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER use Groupon!!!!! My mother in law passed away and after less than 10 from purchase I requested a refund for the family bowling trip we planned for her. The customer service is unbelievable cold hearted and refused to give me a refund. Once they told me no one at Groupon would be able to give me a refund they requested a death certificate to Proove I was not lying. Bought a Groupon with a merchant who only works 2 days a week. The only opening this vendor had open after the day I purchased the Groupon was 10 weeks later. It was a series of 4 treatments and the Groupon expired 6 weeks later. Groupon refused to help in any way shape or form. This is the last time I will ever use Groupon, cancelling my account. I tried to call the number to their home office in Chicago which is posted on the website, the number was out of service. Beware of Groupon.
I just posted a detailed similar problem and when I tried to post it – the response was that I had already posted my response. Well let me tell one and all that I am now going to contact the media and see how well Groupon reacts to some very nasty publicity.
Well I wish I had done more research before I obviously became one of the many disgruntled customers. I have to admit that I have been doing great deal of purchasing over the years and have not had a problem until now. I am handicapped and do all my shopping online. On April 24th of this year, I ordered a Queen size Beautirest gel mattress topper. Since my husband just died unexpectedly, I was not paying attention to this delivery. When I realized that I had NOT received the merchandise I went to their site and tracked the shipment. It showed that it was delivered to my front door on April 28th at 11:10 AM by FEDEX.
I did my due diligence and contacted FEDEX and they interviewed their delivery representative and he said that he could not remember that particular delivery since he did deliver a great deal of packages to my address. Two of their supervisors contacted me and said that they agreed that after this amount of time. the package could not be found and advised me to contact the vendor (Groupon) and have them resend me the item and then have them file a claim with FEDEX> SIMPLE -RIGHT?.. No, that would be good customer relations. Instead, after I sent them an e-mail and gave them all the information already obtained by me, they sent me an e-mail reiterating all the information that was obvious and told me to contact FEDEX (obviously their people DO NOT KNOW how to read English.
Out of frustration. I made the mistake of calling their supposed CUSTOMER SUPPORT and spoke to a woman who could care less. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that the supervisor was on another call and leave my number and I would be called YEAGH RIGHT!!!!!!!!!. I asked for the supervisor’s name and was told she could NOT give me that info. I told her then, that I would stay on the line until the supervisor could talk to me. Without another word, the line was quiet, but I stayed online for 4 minutes until the supposed supervisor came on. When I asked for her name, she said Maria. I asked for her full name and she refused. Since she had MY full name and more, WHY wasn’t I entitled to the same respect. Her answer was that the company didn’t require that, since the individual might be subject to threats. GIVE ME A BREAK.
When I called her bluff and said that I certainly was NOT threatening her, she still refused. I once again, repeated the entire scenario and gave her the FEDEX individuals name for her to verify. Her answer was for me to call FEDEX and conference her in on the call. I said absolutely NOT. She should call them and she could conference me in. She said she couldn’t do that. Needless to say, nothing was done and from what I am reading, the company could care less as well.
You are all justified in being disgusted. I think at this point, I am going to contact the media and see how well Groupon reacts to some long overdue BAD publicity..,

I understand that Groupon has expanded, but it does not mean that Groupon can not live up to the values it use to hold (before expansion). It is upsetting that I am writing this message (I use to love groupon, because it made ordering fun), because Groupon now lies to it’s dear customers. Also, they sign contracts with unknown companies that do not share the Groupon values. My conversation reference number with Groupon. In this conversation one can tell that Groupon representatives LIES and provides Customer (me) with MISINFORMATION. It is truly upsetting that Groupon does not care about customer satisfaction anymore and they would do drop their honor to get few more dollars from their customers! I have been told that they the higher management team will contact me, but even there Groupon is lacking trustworthiness.

I have no satisfaction with a groupon that I purchased on 3.14.17. This groupon was for an event in Syracuse instead of my city of Rochester, NY. The groupon looked the same as the purchase that I made the week before for the Rochester show. I’ve reached out to customer service twice – once email and the second via telephone. The customer service rep told me she couldn’t help me. I waited 12 minutes for a supervisor – as I heard them checking the phone to see if I was still on the call. The supervisor was very firm and agreed that she would not help me. I asked only for an exchange from the Syracuse event to the Rochester event. I ask for the supervisor’s manager and was told that the manager could not be reached by email or phone. Therefore I am writing this email.
I use groupon a few times a month. As a loyal customer I do hope and expect some satisfaction with my request. A satisfied customer tells 10 people about their experience. an unsatisfied customer tells 100 people about their experience. I hope to go on Facebook and applaud Groupon for their help.
I will never use Groupon again. I followed instructions for returning merchandise and even returned it in the same packaging it was delivered and have not received a refund. I have contacted them by email and by telephone. On the phone the put me on hold. I even did the live chat and they ended the chat saying it was ended because there was no wctivity. I was waiting on a response from the rep. So they have the merchandise and my money!

This is the worst experience ever! i have been battling groupon ideel legacy team to refund my ideel store credit for over a year now. close to hundred calls and emails, every time i call i hear how sorry groupon is and that my case will be escalated and i will be contacted – and NOTHING happens. at some point i received an email from support stating that they will issue me a check and need my mailing address (that was provided 4! times), and groupon does not even own up to what they have in writing. dear groupon management – you are just a bunch of thieves! you shamelessly do not return your clients’ money!

Groupon service is getting worst by the day, I placed an order for 5 pairs of shoes, received them and was shocked by the poor quality and design that is different from what you guys advertise, this was just the beginning of my problems, I contacted customer support they sent me return labels and I shipped all the shoes back, they refunded me for only 2 pairs, I contacted your worthless customer that I should call to unsupport, every time I get a different answer, some supervisors said packages are received and refund has been issued others said the packages are still on route and once they receive them I will get my credit, now all I want is my money back and I will never ever use Groupon I just need to get through this nightmare. Groupon closed my account which had a balance of $159 Groupon bucks taken from my credit card. They refused to issue a refund for those money explaining that when an account get closed, they have the right to keep my money. That’s clearly a robbery and an abuse of power, it’s like I close an account with my bank and they keep my money. I filed a compalint with BBB and Groupon hasn’t responded yet. I purchased a coupon for my mother. No where in the advertisement did it say you had to print it yourself. I am unable to do so due to health issues, and not having a printer. I called Groupon as was told there was nothing they could do. I asked them would they just print and mail it to me, they refused! What type of company does this, I just don’t understand! This is absolutely my last Groupon purchase, and I’d advise you to follow suit! They had no problem taking my money, but it’s a cardinal sim for you print and mail my purchase to me. I can’t believe how terrible this is. First of all I was supposed to get “groupon bucks” then I find out that they did not give it all to me. I even sent the email to customer service. My first 10 emails I sent they did not even reply to my inquiry, they went off to left field with a form letter email that does not even apply. Their carpet cleaning coupon does not work. Cleaners cancelled. Groupon refuses to refund my money. There is no recourse except to report to BB and email this contact info. How many people have had this problem with advancepro carpet cleaning. No live number, no place to leave a phone number. they cancelled. I recently purchased a Groupon for 1/2 price house painting in Guelph, Ontario Canada. When I received my voucher to book the service the number was disconnected/not in service. Thanks for that information. I have a second issue with a Groupon, merchant not honoring the Groupon. Calling the BBB tomorrow. Groupon customer service is the worst. After I gave them the phone number of the merchant and the person to specifically speak with to confirm, I get an email stating that I would have to wait for the merchant to contact me. I bought tickets to the San Diego Chargers game on New Years day. No where on Groupon did it say we had to print the tickets. We had bought them on the way to the game and there was a huge delay in getting the email with the tickets. By the time we got the tickets, we all had been drinking and we’re at the gate to get into the game. That was the time we found out we had to print the tickets. We had to buy new tickets because no one at the stadium would do anything. Groupon refuses to fix this problem since we bought the tickets through them. Groupon has lost me and at least 3 other people as customers.
Hi Guys, based in Australia, purchased a groupon voucher and turns out it only had 1 week validity, this was only mentioned in the tiny fine print. So the voucher expired, i have never used it and groupon is refusing to provide a refund or atleast credits so i can rebuy. I even spoke to their manager who flat out said NO, not even consideration or “We’ll try and look into it”, also their customer service appears to be outsourced to India, they have no idea about the type of businesses in Australia and have no understanding.
There already seems to have been a $15 Million lawsuits against groupon for this exact same practise, of selling vouchers with short expiry dates and then refusing to credit or refund. Although they lost the case and had to payout, doesn’t seem like they changed their policies at all.

Quite upset. Searched Manchester, NH for golf for my brother. Got Manchester Country Club (there is one in Manchester, NH) but it was in Vermont. Called customer service the Monday after Christmas and they said they couldn’t do anything because it was too late. It was purchased on the 21 with an option to send as a gift later. So I sent it for Christmas Eve. The are obvious too lany complaints that CEO is ignoring.
I am currently having an unresolved issue with a refund for products not rendered. I am on email #10 to Groupon and still no resolve other than standard issue form letters. What happened Groupon? You used to be a fantabulous company. The last 4 Groupons I purchased were quite far from good experiences through the seller and Groupon both. They are doing the exact same to me. They said they issued a refund. It never showed up so I contacted them and they gave me this nonsense ARN info and said it was my bank. I went to my bank and they issued a chargeback. Then Groupon denied it. And now are telling me Chase did. I’m done. I am just going to sue them in small claims here. If nothing else it may get them to stop screwing everyone with this nonsense. It is obviously them. If you need a statement as you get the same I am more than happy to provide it for you.

Yes I am in ON CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT!! I was threatened by one of the merchants on their site! I have the copy of the email from them! I have notified Groupon, not one response from corporate! I did receive a response from one of their incompetent representatives saying they would put me in touch with the MERCHANT??? After being threatened I don’t want to talk to the merchant! I will wait till after holidays and notify an attorney!

I agree! I placed an order on 12/5….called today because my package had still not arrived and they couldnt even tell me what thr neck happened to my order, just that they will refund my money. The day before the event, they sent me documents to print out. On the documents it said that he had to purchase another $210.00 worth of insurance. Nowhere when I purchased the initial Groupon did it say this. I have been dealing with this now for weeks and everytime I email them, I get someone else giving me a different answer. Meanwhile they are refusing to refund my money. I’m ready to go to court, but if there’s a class action suit being filed, I want in.

Oh, and I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was busy with other customers so I said I would wait so she put me on hold, I was on hold for ten minutes and she gets back on to tell me that its going to be awhile for her manager and shes just going to tell me the same thing. The just didn’t care about my call, because its not her money. I tried to call the corporate number but it just gives me a busy signal. I will never use it again!!! What a JOKE!

I’m thinking we should all file for a class-action law suit. One for US customers and one for Canadian customers. If the lot of us has experienced poor business practices by Groupon, and the “stealing” of our funds or unreasonable solutions to problems with vouchers and businesses or transactions that went awry or businesses that did not allow for timely use of vouchers (like with my experience – the business was sold and “closed for remodeling” which meant that I wasn’t able to use the groupon for what I purchased it for and only the value I paid), there should be some protection and guarantee to all of US who have been somehow slighted and taken advantage of.

who can afford to go out and eat ALONE !! Lately, 90 % of your Groupons for restaurants are for TWO or MORE !! We are ALL very unhappy with GROUPON because we can NO longer purchase them if we wish to go out “single”. A LOT of my friends can NOT afford to eat out as much as I do, so I feel this is discrimination of a type !!! and I have had to get a refund on my last groupon because I could not find anyone to go with me !!! I’m done with them….I will not e adding any more money to their 1. whatever Billions this company is valued at! Here’s why: I purchased a pair of harem men’s sweat pants for men. US XL, so they say! I ordered them…8/18/16, didn’t received until September 6, 2016. When I opened up the package and looked at them I was in shock! They looked like they were made for a 12 year old boy! I contacted Groupon, I was told you have to go through the merchant, did that then they want to give me the run around! It’s just way to much. I just can’t believe I have to go through so much HELL for a company that sent me a piece of CRAP merchandise that looked nothing at all like the picture of the item I ordered! I waited on hold for a supervisor for over 15 mins. The rep knew I was upset. They have such a lackluster attitude when it comes to MY money!!! I waited the csr came to the phone and I informed her I was not going to hang . She put me on hold for another few minutes. When she came back she asked me for my call back # in case we are disconnected. I told her Not to hang up on me she put me on hold and then never came back and she hung up. I am tired of purchasing misfit items from groupons which are advertised falsly. Most recently I purchased a miltry style watch on 7/25/2016 I received it a yesterday and it is not the watch I ordered. Unbelievably rude, unprofessional CS, shouting me down and would not let me speak. Credit I was promised, and is on the books, was never applied. Asked to speak to a manager and was disconnected. No wonder this company gets such horrid reviews! The secret is to avoid Groupon completely and contact the companies that are offering the discount. I am a senior who in error booked 3 hotel rooms minuets apart, thought I was just checking prices ( if I don’t get my money back I am banded from the computer) I was charges in American funds on my visa but when they gave me back my credit it was in Canadian funds, costing me 40.00 dollars, when I called I was told they could not do anything about it, you guys are fulling in millions of dollars but you couldn’t give a senior on a fixed income 40.00 dollars back you should be ashamed of your selves. Up until now I had been happy with groupon but recently I have decided to no longer use their service. I live in Canada and logged into groupon in my local city to buy an oil change coupon. Groupon in their ultimate wisdom decided that I would like to get my oil change 7.5 hours away (that is also in the USA)! When asked how this could happen I was told “In your case, it was a Local Deal that is available particularly in the US” umm yeah so then its not a local deal! And then I was told “As of now, we cannot filter what is featured on the website because we still want our customers to be able to enjoy other deals from other places” and “Kindly check it before making a purchase, Again we apologize for the trouble”. So I guess its my fault for not making sure groupon did their job correctly? This is after several emails sent and replies that make no sense at all and simply skate around the problem. Ill be contacting my credit card company about this and have them reverse the payment. Oh and just for everyones amusement (except mine of course) there was also this reply “Of course, even expired Groupons make great gifts, so if you won’t be able to use it yourself, feel free to give it to a worthy recipient. You can always give an unused Groupon to a friend unless otherwise specified in that deal’s Fine Print”. What a joke this company is… pun intended!
Groupon’s leadership needs to take a class on customer service. Your organization has zero competency with this component of running a business. If you don’t have customers, you don’t have a business. Today you lost my business, as well as 5 people in my office that have been waiting anxiously for a purchase that I made.

4. Customer service was not able to provide ANY information at all. Did the live text, email, and called by phone – for multiple DAYS. No one was able to assist me.
5. Called today, and they refunded my money…which will take 10 business days to be refunded. Still never received my items, and received no explanation.
It is clearly apparent that this company does not care one ounce for their customer’s satisfaction. There are so many options on the web to make purchases. (Take a class from Amazon – you can track your order by the second, and it arrives on time!) It is a shame that, conceptually, this business has a great idea. I a have a mo tha worth of emails about trying to get a refund on a product and I have been given the run around at this point I have contacted my credit card to assist, I have almost ten emails from “Groupon Support” with no resolve. I purchased a product that can to me broken and no one at this company is willing to talk with me on how to get this issue resolved. This company is terrible, I advice not using them for any services.
I was send the wrong 4 kitchen shears, and I went online to ask for a refund. It took several links to get to the right page, and I was able to send a short note and download a return label. I sent a letter with the return package explaining that the merchandise was not what I bought, None of them came with safety covers, and one item was sent to me with a missing part.
I received a Groupon email after one week stating that I will receive only a half refund to my credit card. I went through page after page of one of my Groupon sales emails looking for a phone number. All that is published in any Groupon sales emails is the Chicago Headquarters address. Next, I googled Groupon Headquarters to find a company info site that gave me Groupon’s address, phone number, email and website addresses, social media addresses, and the October 2013 Executive Team names.
I called the Groupon phone number and reached a representative. She was not professional and kept interrupting me as I was asking for the other half refund to my credit card. After putting me on hold for a time, she came back to the phone to say that she put in for the other half refund and i would receive the usual email about it soon. I asked if my letter included in the return package reached anyone so that the company will know that the wrong merchandise was sent. She laughed and said, “Nobody reads those Letters. We just throw them away.” When I attempted to rephrase the information she gave me, she interrupted me again and laughed at me, saying that I didn’t have to be like that. She also informed me that they keep the sales tax I paid on my original order, that is wa Groupon’s policy to do so. Really???

Tried to unsubscribe today and it’s obvious that Groupon has BY DESIGN created a situation where unsubscribing appears impossible. This shows me that Groupon has zero interest in treating customers ethically and is sham and like most shams will eventually fail. I’m calling their headquarters tomorrow and if this issue is not resolved, I am going to do whatever is necessary to assure the public what they are up against.
On March 21, 2016 I purchased 2 pair of shorts from Groupon and in less than 2 months one pair have completely ripped out in the butt of them and the other pair have 2 holes in the top of a pocket i don’t/didn’t use. So called Groupon and fought with 3 customer service agents and finally got a supervisor on the line. Explained what happened to the supervisor and all he wanted to do is offer me $10 on my account towards my next purchase. MY NEXT PURCHASE? What in Gods name makes you think that after this experience I would ever give you money again? So I looked up the corporate number and all i got was a non-toll free number to, wait… wait… it’s coming, you got it CUSTOMER SERVICE. Needless to say they do not want you to have a number to contact them about issues with their emplyees. This was my first and last purchase from Groupon. Anyone that is coming here to read reviews about products before purchasing, take your money and run like hell the other way. This company will only rip you off and take your money with no intentions of backing their products. My next call will be to Federal Trade Commission, and filing a complaint with them. I recently have decided to become a merchant with Groupon on the business that I have started. I have worked with Groupon as a VP of Sales and also as a consumer and I LOVE what they offer. When I started my business campaign a few days ago at first there was a little difficulty with the customer service I felt I was receiving. Mostly on the explanation on how the campaign approval process works. After reaching out to the CEO Rich it was handled IMMEDIATELY and beyond my expectations. Adia and Alex have superseded how I believe most companies would handle issues . To me having run many companies and now owning my own, A company’s character is truly in how they handle customer issues, not in getting it right the first time. That’s easy. We all can’t get it right 100% of the time and my hope is that when I don’t get it right in my business. I am able to handle it as gracefully as Groupon has.

She purchased a groupon back in December for a 4 hr cruise as a Christmas gift but the cruise company kept rescheduling the trip because they said it was bad weather. They rescheduled 3 times until the point the groupon expired. Now they said no cruise will be available until November. It will be almost a year by then. We want a full refund for this transaction and inconvinience. This was supposed to be a special gift and it was completely ruined. We need this resolved or will make sure to share how terribly we have been treated all over social media, corporate, and reach out to our local news station about this. I have just spoken with a supervisor about an issue with an address change they were to do and help me with I ordered a product form groupon to give them one last chance I looked to see how much longer this will be to be delivered and it said it had already been delivered to my old address they will not refund me my money because they said that they had already helped me twice with this issue after I time old the lady that they were supposed to of changed my address to my new address before when I had this issue she said she was sorry but no refund will be available so I’ve spent over 50 dollars for an item did not get it they did not change my address like they said and I am now out of the money and basically it’s my fault. I hear all of the frustration from the customers in the posts on this page. I would like to add that as a seller on Groupon the frustration is just as bad. I served the required seven days notice to sever my contract with Groupon but they have repeatedly ignored all communications and continue to sell deals to my business. I do not have the capacity to handle more customers at this time and to continue selling deals to unsuspecting customers will only continue to result in a lot of unhappy clients. I can’t get anyone to answer or even acknowledge my repeated attempts to contact Groupon. I have gone through numerous ‘account managers’, each has disappeared to never be heard from again. No one contacts me when the account managers leave, they ignore my attempts to contact anyone. They just continue to sell services for my business. I do not know how Groupon is not shut down by the Attorney General (whom I have also contacted).

I have being desperately to resolve the above issue. Your senior management team seem unapproachable, and was told they cannot make telephone calls !. Your e mail and numerous telecons do not concur. Despite my best endeavour’s, this is not sorted.
In the absence of any reason from Groupon, I have no alternative but to take the issue up with the UK TRADING STANDARDS DEPARTMENT, to see if they can assist.
Groupon customer service will not help me and I have been begging them with phone calls to please look into problems with my account. II. FOLLOW THE LAW
A. Groupon Takes This Seriously and Expects the Same of Its Employees
Although Groupon does not expect its employees to be lawyers, it does expect that employees
know the major laws that affect work at Groupon. Some laws that are relevant to Groupon’s
business include intellectual property laws, privacy laws, laws prohibiting deceptive or unfair
business practices, laws prohibiting restraints of trade, and anti-bribery laws. Any employee who
has questions about compliance with laws or regulations affecting his/her work should contact
the Compliance Team.
B. Anti-Bribery
Employees should adhere to Groupon’s Anti-Corruption Policy, incorporated into the Code by
reference, which can be found on Skynet at https://skynet.groupon.com/community/employeepolicies/
global-legal-policies/anti-corruption. That Policy provides that employees may not pay
or accept bribes of any type, regardless of whether the conduct is in the public or private sector.

They hired a bunch of in state csrs to help then fired them within a year to outsource with cheaper overseas agents

I have asked a question of support once a day for two weeks now. No one has answered my original question and they all provide a standard answer which does not apply to my question. Seriously, does anyone actually read and understand a question in that “support” staff? I intend to keep asking in basic English and then print all Qs and As and send them to corporate. I tried calling but a 45 minute hold is absurd!
The hung up on me twice!
I purchased a service from a dental office. After the merchant failed to return my numerous calls to make an appointment, I contacted Groupon to receive a refund because I needed to receive my Groupon dental service in tandem with another dental service. Groupon decided to try to turn the service around by contacting the merchant; the merchant still did not contact me. AND I never received a refund. I persisted placing calls to Groupon and Groupon allowed time to go by beyond the expiration date by not responding to my request for a refund.
Groupon has decided to instead of returning the funds to my card to fore me into using their Groupon Bucks. This is ridiculous and arrogant of Groupon to assume that they can decided how a customer’s funds are to be used and/or retained when their merchants fail to perform on a contract.
I have been a Groupon since 2010 and this is very annoying and is a customer service nuisance as I feel harassed by Groupon. I will continue to stay on course and pursue the initial of receiving refund of my initial offer/purchase.
This same thing happened to me. I have been told the managers can’t override the system to give me a refund. I have ask d to speak to someone that can. They say there isn’t anyone. Please let me know if you ever get a refund. I don’t want the grouping bucks because I don’t ever want to use groupon again.

you should take that as a blessing and take your money somewhere else. they will just rip you off and when you try to get help with the issues your having with the items you purchased they won’t do a dam thing to help you out other than offer you a couple dollars on your next purchase
I have purchased and paid for an item which was never deliver at all. And Groupon has got the cheek to indicate in my account as “closed history”. How can they do this, its like cheating. I called, written to the customer service and all they can said is “under investigation”. THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING!!!!!
I should have read reviews on groupon before purchasing anything. This was my first time purchasing on groupon and my last. I ordered girls leggings and instead received shorts. ive sent emails including a picture which they asked for and I have not heard back. I live chatted with someone that didn’t understand my issue and was telling me there are no returns- can u believe that they don’t want you to return an item that you never ordered. The person over live chat was rude and would not provide a customer service number even thou I asked multiple times all he kept writing was that he already resolved my issues. I was not given a customer service number until I asked for a corporate number.
Also 6 days after I ordered a pair of sandals I recived an email saying sorry no inventory so you’ll get your credit that will take up to 10 days.
I still have 3 other items on there way. I will be returning everything I purchased from groupon and will never purchase anything again. I will tell everyone I meet to never purchase anything from Groupon because it’s a scam- bait and switch
I just filed a complaint w/Attorney General. I purchased a Groupon & their code apparently did not work. Consequently, I did not get the promised discount & Groupon refuses to reimburse me. Instead they gave me credit I don’t want. It feels like a scam. They kept my money for their own gain.
My order was sent to another STATE! I cannot get Groupon to help me and UPS says it has to be handled by the sender, not them. I believe UPS more than I do Groupon. This order is over $250 so it is significant amount. I will try to get my charge card to address it and will stop doing any more business with Groupon.
It is a nightmare dealing with them.
I had other issues on other orders and because they were not expensive items I did not address it. Shame on me, that’s how they get away with failing to offer service of any kind!

I purchased a Groupon for Whole Foods. When I tried to redeem it, I was told it had no value. I never redeemed this voucher. I on-line chatted with one of your customer service reps. After a while, she told me my account showed a different code for Whole Foods to use. When I questioned why the code and bar code that was printed on my voucher would not work, she had no explanation.
Why would you print a bar code / number that would not work? And, how an I to know whether on my next trip to Whole Foods the “NEW” code will enable redemption?
The rep told me she would escalate my problem and I may hear back in 24-48 hours. How can something like this happen? It leaves a bad taste in my mouth for Groupons.

Dear Groupon
I am writing to my dissatisfaction about the delivery of my order.
It was promised to be delivered in 15 days and it is almost 30 days now.
I called numerous times but the answer is always on you will get a response about your order.
Finally they say the product is on the way and they gave me a fake tracking number which cannot work.
I called a few times again written emails and still no product or refund.
My next move will be to send a letter of demand since it has fallen on deaf ears now all my complaints
I am surprised such a so called great company has very little care to resolve issues like this.
Hello.On my first order from Groupon,I received the wrong entire order.I returned the order the following day and to this day have not received a refund.I have emailed the tracking number and pictures of what my order should have been to Groupon.I’ve been emailing about 5x and have had different reps but no one is professional enough to solve this and give me a refund.It has been over 3 or 4 month now.I have provided emails back and forth,but no one is taking care of this matter,and I’ve repeated the issue over and over.I will be looking into filing a small claims against Groupon or find some other kind of means to get Groupons attention.I am disappointed with the customer service with Groupon. Hello, I have been emailing and calling about my order. I have been on hold for more then 2hr on two different occasions with no one picking up. I need to know what will be happening with my order; since it was not delivered to me and I still haven’t seen my product. I’ve purchsed from here before and was very satisfied but it seems that it’s noones problem but mine. At this point I am not losing 200 dollars and if my best solution will be to go through the BBB I will do that. I’ve been at this since Saturday, Monday, and now Tuesday .

It has came apparent this morning that a customers concerns are for lake of a few choice words “noncompliant when it comes to the customer. At thios point I am very disapointed inthe handleing of my issues!!!!!! Not one time of my request to carry this futher to upper management was i allowed the email address a contact manager / phone number. Two customer service and on Sarah P. and a supervisior by the name of Adrin W. !!!!! told me we are all you can speak with there is no one else. I again requested more corpoate contact information to address my concerns and again was told they dont have that info there is NO one ELSE!
