I have a 2017 Chysler Pacifca when it rains I get a horrible smell through the vents. I have changed the cabin filter the air filter and still got this horrible smell. Went on line and there are a lot of complaints about this issue when is someone going to address this. I paid a lot of money for this as it has every option
12/26/18
On 11/23/18 we bought a new Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid from West Valley Chry.Jeep in Chatsworth CA.
Jeff our Sales person said we were not intitled to the rebate because we were purchasing instead of leasing. He wanted us to lease. After 8 hours he finally went to pick up the vehicle from another dealer and it was dirty. Because it was dark and late, he said to bring it back anytime for a full detail because the van was dirty and had scuff marks on the inside panel. After my Husband took off work and made three attempts to get the vehicle detailed as promised and was put off, I made an appointment time to have the vehicle detailed. As usual when I got to the dealer service dept. no one knew what I was talking about. I told them I had an appointment with Laura to get the van detailed per Jeff’s instructions. Jeff was out sick that day. Service went to sales to confirm and took the van to Laura to detail, as I waited in the waiting room. When the van was done, I inspected the van. It was still wet, the inside door panels were still dirty, the seats had crumbs or something on the seats. I inspected the outside and there was about a three-inch scratch on the back of the van. I went in to see the person sitting in the service dept and she said it was not her dept. and that she would have to get a ticket from sales to do anything about it. She wanted me to go to sales because she refused. I went back to the service area and spoke to Laura. She said she didn’t do it and Jeff only told her to do a “Wash”, not a detail. I asked her if she would just use some rubbing compound on it to try and get it out. She just kept saying she was only supposed to do a wash and she didn’t do it. I told her then I would tell the sales dept. that she made the scratch. She said, I don’t care, I work on my own, I don’t have to do it if I don’t want to. So I went back to the person in the service office and tried to get her to do something. She said, there is the Manager walking by, talk to him. I thought he was the manager for the dealership but he was the Service Manager, Robert Monrow.
I said, someone should have inspected the van before they took it in for service. He said, they probably did not do the scratch and in his 30 years they have never inspected a vehicle before servicing it. I said, Honda does, and they do. I said the van is new and we have only had it for a few weeks and we did not make the scratch. Then the woman in the service dept. came out to talk to me or him. I started to say something to her and the Service Manager hit me with the back of his hand on my arm. He said, “I’m taking to you now, look at me not at her, were going to take care of you”. Very combative, mean and disrespectful. I said why are to hitting me? He said I was just trying to get your attention. He went back to Laura and she refused to do anything. I went to the sales dept. I was crying by now after the way I had been treated. One of the sales people had a guy go next door to get some rubbing compound. He gave it to the new guy in service to rub on the van. I finally called my Husband at work crying. He said just get out of there. I went back to the guy rubbing on our van and I said you should not be doing that because you don’t know what you are doing and could be rubbing the finish off our van. I took the van and left. We transferred the loan and we got through W.V.Chry.Jeep to our credit union, we removed the license Name of the dealer off the van and now I’m complaining to you. I went to BBB website and they have a really bad score with them. Also on Facebook, etc. Someone from your company should care about the bad name they are giving your product. We would never go their for service, refer friends there. It was a horrable experience from beginning to end. I should sue them for the service manager hitting me on my arm

Jeep&junk are just three letters apart 26,238 miles on my 2014 grand Cherokee limted and the radiator fell apart never wold I buy a Chrysler product again or tell anyone I know to buy there products JUNK & JEEP fit well together
I have a 2012 Dodge Durango Citadel hemi V8. It is currently sitting in the shop for repairs as apparently a bad closet of lifters in the engine block as well as a ruined camshaft and it is going to run me over $4000. my vehicle just ticked over 100,000 miles and the company will not stand behind their product. from what I have been reading this is a well known issue in the 2011 and 2012 models of this vehicle with low
miles the engine just goes out and all the lifters need to be replaced as well as the camshaft. I absolutely cannot believe that a company will not stand behind their vehicles!!! I have been driving Dodge products my entire life as well as my family and extended
family we have never had issues like this in the past with their product nor had issues with customer service the way I have with this issue
Dear Chrystler Headquarters Reps,
My absolute favorite vehicle I have ever owned caught on fire on the 14th of this month. I spoke with the Deputy Sheriff that came to the scene and he informed me that this is the 3rd one over the last few years that he has dealt with. I am unbelievably heart broken. I don’t know if this is an issue that you have dealt with or if it’s something that has not been discovered but I hope this is something that you will look into. I had a 2008 Jeep Wrangler unlimited and to the best of my knowledge, all recalls were dealt with and it received a lot of love and care while I had it. Considering there were kids in the Jeep when this happened, we are thankful know one was injured. Please take a look at what could cause this issue before worse happens to someone else.
I bought a 2016 jeep renegade 4×2 brand new all my problems started 2 weeks after I bought it and been going since. Now I am not allowed to go to my local dealership (I made to many service department personnel cry) I have to drive 60 miles 1 way to the next one. I have opened a lemon law case and they keep fighting me. Now I have to have yet another part replaced..the same part that has been replaced in January, June and now December. Hmm same damn part being replaced 3 times in 12 months mopar you have an issue with the renegades you shouldn’t of laid in bed with fiat to make this hoopty.
The web information says they run on eastern standard time zone.. I’m on Pacific so that makes them 3 hours ahead right, guess everyone slept in today I’ve been calling for an hour the recording says they ain’t open yet. As a CNA I am required by my state to have a SAFE and RELIABLE vehicle this definitely dont qualify.
Get your vehicles fixed, get everyone paid who deserves it, answer your damn phones.
So you think I would have learned not to EVER buy a Jeep after I utilized the lemon law on my 2010 Grand Cherokee. I purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee July 2014 and have had transmission issues since. I would take it into the dealerships and they would always tell me they couldn’t reproduce the issue. This would include two different dealerships. I took it to a private shop and they right away noticed the problem and have notice it every time I have my oil changed. Just interesting that they see the transmission issue and no one else does. I finally had my fiance take the Jeep in and there was an update to be done. Oh, and guess what? No change, if anything it is worse. My jeep has a hard time shifting from first to second gear (thuds into place), it stalls in reverse, howls, chugs when I am in an intersection, roars at high speeds, RPM will stay up into 3000 when driving at higher speeds and I have to slow down on the interstate give the car a chance to figure out what it is doing. The roar, and the staying into high RPMs is a new thing after they updated my transmission. I had this car in at within the first year of purchasing it for these issues and have been dealing with it for four years. I purchased extended warranty right before my 36000 mile warranty was up knowing I would have the car in multiple times due to the issue NEVER being addresses. I am beyond frustrated with Chrysler and tell everyone and their dog that any Chrysler product is horrible. I have called Chrysler and no one helps me. I called three times today alone and was laughed at and hung up on because I did not have my VIN number. Called back and talked to another person and lost connection and called back to talk to another person just to keep receiving the same run around. “miss you can take your car into a dealership and have it fixed”. Sir no how many times do I take it in until something is actually done”? He did not have an answer for that and said sorry that was the most he could do to help. We ended the conversation no further ahead. Moral of the story do not buy another Jeep product! No one seems to want to help or even care about their own product. I am a business owner and never would this attitude be held in my practice.
Wow sounds almost identical to what I am going thru with my 2016 jeep renegade. I take it in and they cant reproduce the problems I do a ride along with the mechanics and it does its thing but they dont hear it or feel it therefore it’s fine. ♀️ and I’ve had to go to 2 different shops also, honestly I didnt think to go to like a mom and pop shop, i am in the lemon law process we should of finished by now but they keep screwing with me.
This is all so frustrating, I’ve had them get snotty with me also and today they just wont answer the phones.
Hello,
My husband and I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit from NW Chrysler Jeep in Beaverton, OR 6/2015. June 2018 we had an exhaust sensor go out on this jeep. We were under warranty at this time but could not get our vehicle serviced until August. We paid for the service cost of $372.92 to replace a faulty sensor. Our vehicle had 22, 165 miles. We disputed this charge with Chrysler and they agreed to pay in full a reimbursement. The case number is: 34996431. However, we have never seen a check from them. Numerous phone calls to Chrysler have resulted in “the check is in the mail” response. Months have passed without any check received. Our phone calls seem to be handled with a phone center and canned responses. We cannot seem to get anywhere or speak with anyone who can answer our questions about the status of our reimbursement. Please contact this company on our behalf so we can resolve this issue.
Thank You, Mark and Robin Smith

Addendum.
Filed Consumer Protection Agency complaint 11/26/2018. Called 12/1/2018, talked with Shea. Shea stated she will leave a message with Tyler and given new Reference number 57527527. Told to call back Monday. Called 12/3/2018 and spoke with Renee. Was told the check is still processing. She will leave a message for someone in the “reimbursement office” to call me back. Since this seems to be a pattern with no return calls, I explained to Renee to please transfer me to someone who can help me. Renee states no phone numbers available. After my plea for help again Renee gave me a phone number for Velshal 998-778-9755. Several attempts to call this number were unsuccessful.
Apparently Chrysler corporate doesn’t care about the quality of their vehicles or their customer service. Have a documented safety issue on a two year old car that was ruled by a dealership as a manufacturer defect and they wouldn’t fix it and have given me the runaround. This company has obviously lost its luster and so I think perhaps going to another company that ACTUALLY CARES about their products and customers.
I have the same issue. I have a 2016 Jeep Compass and took it to the closet dealer. The lights on my dash came on. Had vehicle towed. Asked for a loaner they af use as I didn’t lease thru them I am not a preferred customer. Imagine my response. They took my vehicle for one day and said it was a recall S89 WiFi g harness. Took car back after they said they teampsird it and it Happened again. This is going on for 2 weeks. They don’t return calls went to customer service again today told them at this point I need a loaner this is not a
acceptable. I am also still under warranty. The service and they was they treat their customers is awful. Still waiting call back from customer.
We bought a 2015 Dodge Ram 3500 in the 3 years we have had this truck it has nearly killed me and my family! It has been in the shop for a total of a year all together since buying brand new!! We have had to hire an attorney and we have an active lawsuit!! I advise everyone on this complaint site to hire a lawyer! Dodge should and will be held accountable for all the trash they make and the danger they put everyone driving these things in! It’s pathetic that money is all that they are worried about how about the lives of families driving these death traps!?
Don’t feel bad. My son bought a 2017 Dodge Hellcat with less than 12,000 miles. He brought it home on Friday and by Monday the transmission went out. He was told it was the way he drove the car (which is a high performance car). He paid half on the transmission. Lord and behold 1 week later the transmission went out again. This time he had to pay all. Remember the car had less than 12,000 miles. I am going to have my lawyer contact Dodge directly.

Called customer service for Chrysler due to a knocking noise coming from my car I have the life time warranty for it and yet depending who I talk to in this depertment my issue is serious and to others it’s not they are rude. And Mopar to. Took it in to dodge dealership and they said the knocking noise was normal it was harmonics coming from the engine. Took it to Toyota dealership and they found the issue. How sad is that. Called Chrysler to complain about this issue and how the dealership said it was normal noise and yet they don’t think it’s serious enough since they got there money’s worth for my bumper to bumper extended warranty. Dodge is nothing but issues especially the customer representatives. I’ve called them mulpitple times and most of them are rude and I’ve gotten 1 that actually rook me serious and made a case. But due to lack of information it was dropped on there behalf. That’s probably why I see a lot of dodge vehicle being traded in for Toyota one
Leased a jeep 2018 compass in June, engine blew in August. Car has been in shop since. 69 says later after I no longer wanted the vehicle and demanded a new one the car was “ready”. I told them I don’t want it. Was told I had to come get it and return the rental. Went and got the vehicle and a half hour later on the way home I stopped at a light and when it turned green the car wouldn’t move or start. Same engine problem. 30 minutes after leaving the dealer picking up my “ready” car. The dealer came and picked up the car via tow/road side assistance and took it back to the shop. Now they are saying it’s a starter issue even though I have the repair bill saying a starter was ordered. Chrysler told me to go to arbitration. They don’t want to replace the vehicle, do a buy back or reimburse the payments i made and continue to make while the car is being serviced. I have not had my car since August and we are in November. I’m getting the run around. Emails are not sent. Call backs from case managers are not being made. No one head extension numbers. Its a mess. I should have stayed with Nissan or Ford. While still trying to get reimbursed for payments made I was sent/transferred to jeep. I have the vin and was told there is a recall for the brakes. So in addition to an engine and starter there is also a recall on the brakes. I have a child with a disability and I need reliable transportation. This is a huge inconvenience and bad business ethics.
I want the owner of the dealership of Perry dodge dealer to contact me. I am seeking leaf all action for all I have gone through!!!! I heard the Ceo is Pietro Gorloer, and I want him or his assistant to contact me and follow up with me needs and concerns !!!
2014 Jeep Wrangler Driver’s side heating issue
We recently purchased a used Jeep from Jim Cogdill Dodge and purchased the extended warranty with it. When I went to use my heat for the first time the drivers side only blew out cold air. We took it in to be looked at and the heater core was clogged with a sand like substance. Two days later same issue no heat on drivers side. Took it back same issue found heater core was clogged with sand like substance. This time they changed the heater core and flushed the system again and of corse since it’s close gaged and not leaking it is not covered with the warranty. Two days later back to not working again and the sand like substance is back. We called the dealership and they stated it’s an appt n going issue and to contact Chrysler. Chrysler stated we need to have it looked at the dealership but they want to charge us just to look at it we have already spent $1000 it n this with no fix. If this is an ongoing issue why will they not cover and fix it??
I am having the same issue with my 2013. Dealership told me there was a bulletin out on this being a known issue. I am having trouble getting them to fix it also . It only has 40500 miles on it. It sounds like jeep needs to own up to their known issue.
I purchased a 2015 Jeep Cherokee and the service Dept is absolutely HORRIBLE. Central Jeep in Raynham,Mass
They actually send you to a voice mail when you call the service Dept and then don’t return your call. I’m still waiting for a part to be ordered from April 2018, which I myself ordered from Mopar parts and had a different automotive service fix for me. They talk you into buying extended coverage contracts and then don’t want to deal with you when you need to use it. I just spoke with someone and they told me to bring it somewhere else they don’t have time for me, and after reading all of the comments here, well just maybe if we stop buying they’ll go under. You’re only important at the time of purchase., and then it’s who are you? What do you want? I won’t ever buy a chrysler product again. Like somebody said above Shame on you! Your customers are your business and your customers should always be important and not brushed off. You lost a customer for life with me. I have spread the word on social media about my awful experience and hopefully will save someone the aggravating experience of dealing with Chrysler
I was sucked into the 2016 Chrysler 200 limited. I hate this car. Nothing but problems. It’s become a safety issue. The electrical system in my car is horrible. I have never had interior lights off the lot. I have put over 30 fuses and it blows within 20 minutes or so. I can be driving along and the emergency brake locks up my car. I’m so afraid of getting hit by other cars as ithe tires lock up and there is nothing I can do. The transmission jerks and is a huge clunk when shifting. I went into a Chrysler deal ship to turn it in. No such luck. I was told your was discontinued and it’s worth only about half I owe on it. I would need $8000 dollars to get something else. I recently moved from California to Spokane Washington. I need a car that can be go in the snow. I go to work at 5:30am. Before roads are plowed. There is absolutely no way I can get into another car. I’m trapped in this death trap. So many close calls of being hit due to malfunctions, it’s bound to happen I’ve just been lucky. Chrysler needs to recall all the Chrysler 200s before they kill someone. And have to face multi million dollar law suits. Please chrsylernhelp me get out of this death trap.
I concur with most above comments! Dud car, false promises,no call back, lies, lies lies. Why are we allowing this group continue to do this to us? We bought a 2013 Chrysler 200 and have had nothing but trouble from it.Maybe we should consider a class action lawsuit. Has anyone contacted the BBB? It’s time!
Chrysler has the worse customer service that I have ever came across. Bought a 2016 in December of 2015, the very next day the back up camera stopped working, and it is on its third camera, and this one went out. This has been going on now for three years. All the dealership does is replace it and call and say it’s ready. The problem is it’s not FIXED! I’ve got a case worker, and they have escalated this case. Now that sounds impressive, when in fact it’s a fancy way of saying we won’t do anything, only on another level! This woman has never been at her desk when I’ve called, or she just happens to be on the phone with someone. Initially when they set up the case file I was supposed to get a call back within 24 hours. Well that NEVER happened and I called back a week later and finally got ahold of her. She has done absolutely nothing, and even though she said she would call me and update me, again that has never happened. Chrysler sells junk and doesn’t want to back up their wortless product. I will NEVER buy another Chrysler product! My father and some of my family worked or works for Chrysler is the only reason I’ve tried to stay loyal, and I’ve bought 6 jeeps over the years, but NO MORE! Their customer service defies the laws of physics, it sucks and blows at the same time! Personally I hope they go out of business.
I bought a 2016 charger srt. I love my car I wouldn’t trade it for anything. The only problem I have is my rims I have owned my car for a little over 2.5 years. In this time I have had three rims crack on me, and I have had to by three new tires cause of these cracks. The toll as you are aware for a run flat tire is 400 a piece. This last crack I have had my new set of tires a little over two months. And have to purchase a new tires. I plan on staying in the Mopar family I love my Challenger and charger. But I can’t afford this problem. Can I get some help with my issue. Please
Thanks
Joe Timmons
Got another one. Both heads ticking @ 75k
2016 town country 3.6l pentastar manufactured 9/30/2015
No more Chrysler products RUN far and FAST before you buy anything with this motor.
It was so nice, powerful buttt the ticking started
Now i have a mad wife a note and a van that needs 12 new rockerarms (bridges) intake sides
This is a lubricating issue.
Chrysler will not help and knows of problem. Fiat is a 4 letter word. Just saying
In 2004, I had purchased a 2005 Chrysler 300 Limited. On this day, 10/1/2018, the car has 331,000 miles. The plan is to drive this car until the wheels fall off. So far, to knock on wood, I have not made any repairs to the engine or the transmission. The suspension could be better, however, I am pleased with my Chrysler. All I did to keep my car running was to stay on top of necessary maintenance. I”m 41 years old, but I can remember in my 20s and 30s being told not to purchase an American vehicle…especially a Chrysler. They were all wrong. Thank you Chrysler for a world class vehicle. I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth. For all the Naysayers and haters, I have pictures and videos to prove the mileage. Thank you Chrysler!!!!!!
I have a 2017 Jeep Renegade, that is still sitting in a Jeep dealership lot since September 16, 2018. My husband and i decided to take a little trip with his mother to New Mexico. After driving about two and a half hours, my car started giving us problems. Every time we would get the car started and moving again, once it hit 70 rpm, the car would quickly shut itself down. At the time, we had no idea what was wrong with it, and we were frustrated. After trying to start it six or seven times, the car didnt want to run anymore. We sat on the side of the highway for three hours before someone came to tow us 97 miles to Albuquerque. Once there, the car was dropped off at Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge. We arrived at 5:00 pm, so they couldnt work on the car that night. We arrived the next morning, only to find that my car had not been looked at. The staff was very rude, and no one offered any help. We were not offered a rental car so that we could get back home, and they refused to tow my car back to Texas where we live. The dealership did give my husband and i two options before we left: 1. Leave the car there and deal with it, or 2. Buy a new car. We already have a new car, and we didnt want another one just like it. They were very pushy, constantly trying to get us to buy a new one. We left after several hours of being there, and headed back to Texas.Luckily, we had family coming through New Mexico, which is how we got a ride back home. We were told that they would get the part expedited, and we are still waiting. Due to a mechanical error on the plane, the part will not get there. Why am i having to go without a car when mine is in another state sitting at a dealership not being worked on? We are not happy with the way this was/is being handled. Make no mistake, we will be reaching out and contacting all those responsible for this mess.
I just wanted any to thank Chrysler for designing a great car, I got my wife a 2006 Chrysler 300C with the Hemi 5.7L we was driving home last Saturday night and a drunk driver pulled out in front of my wife. She was doing 65mph when we hit the truck. The car did it’s job.even though it’s totalled. I my wife and 6 year old daughter are here to talk about it.thank you for a beautiful built car, I will get her another in time. She named the car Christine but for good reason.it broke my heart to see the car totalled. So now she sits by the road letting everyone see her and how we are still alive. We have a lot of healing to do and again thank you for designing a great car respectfully Michael Tracy . Platteville Colorado
While driving my 2005 Jeep Liberty vehicle the brakes will begin to lock up….this has happened several times over the last year and once will on a major highway (Very Scary). I checked with several mechanics who think I am crazy because they never heard of such a thing and the problem diminishes after about an hour while the car is not running. Had my calipers checked and new brakes installed and the issue still happens.
The VIN # for this vehicle is 1J4GL48K25W671770. THE MILAGE IS 145000. I want to see if anyone can assist in rectifying this issue, not just for me but for all others having the same problem.
All forums seem to say the same thing that Jeep will not or doesn’t know the issue and will not do a recall. I am frightened of my own car that it may kill or severely injure me or my wife. there is nothing else wrong with the car except some minor electrical problems.
I worry that this is a fatality waiting to happen either for me or others that are experiencing the same problem.
The brakes gradually lock and then they start to smell like they are burning….I can’t tell if it’s one or all of them but it it dangerous
I have a 2017 jeep sport and, the vehicle computer is not able to read my key. It cost me 185.00 dollars to have two tow truck move the vehicle because the break would not release. Now i’m being told that i have to pay 685.00 dollars to replace the computer in a vehicle that is less then two years old.
Why is this company still in business??? So many complaints, lost money, time and effort.
They dont mind ruining your credit report either.
When you leave your vehicle at the dealer you leased it from because of vehicle is a lemon, and you tell Chrysler about it, and they dont pick it up for 2 years, something is wrong !!!!
They dont mind ruining your credit, or frustrating you, no matter how old you are. This is a shame and Chrysler and dealer spitzer should be prosecuted, which is what i have in mind
I bought a 2013 Jeep Liberty aka fake jeep. To date I have received hundreds and hundreds of phone calls about extending the warranty. No matter how often I tell them to take me off the list, don’t call me, hang up, block the call. They call from a different number. Talk about harassment. Maybe your should build a better product if your so dependent of extended warranties.
You guys are a joke this needs to be seen by all who go on this site my fiancé got his hand ran over by one of your vehicles an the investigator obviously didn’t do there job becuase the vehicle still pops out of gear an not roll but go fast in reverse not giving a person a chance to stop the vehicle an you guys sent us mail saying you won’t redue the recall that caused this in the first place you guys do not care about the safety of people who own your vehicles

As a loyal Chrysler customer for over 30 years I’m writing to inform you as of August 9, 2018 my wife and I will no longer purchase another Chrysler vehicle because of what We experienced at DuPage Chrysler in Glendale Heights, IL. this past week.
On August 2, 2018 I took our 2017 Jeep Summit in for service for an ongoing engine light issue. Cheri Shea, Service Coordinator called later that day to inform my vehicle was repaired. I was at work so I informed her I would pick it up after work…I arrived about 8:50 pm turned the loaner in; the porter brought my car out and informed me it had been damaged by one of the Salesman a few minutes prior…The Salesman came out within 2 minutes apologizing for the accident and stated that “I was trying to squeeze between the car and I got too close”. There was no further discussion with him I than went inside and encountered Sales Manager Tony Kasper and explained to him what had happened and his first response was “accidents happen” and he explain what an accident was, I’m a 20 year instructor for Chicago Transit Authority…I asked for the loaner car back he said he couldn’t do that but, I would be contacted early in the morning and I could bring it back in and they would take care of the problem…I got back in my damaged vehicle surprised at how he (Tony) had expressed himself about the incident. I called my wife on the phone and it was only than that he apologized for what had happened (something I was expecting from the beginning).
August 3rd next day we did not receive a call from Tony instead, my wife called and spoke with Cheri, and she immediately sent a loaner to our house and picked up the damaged Jeep, I was able to make it to work in time.
August 8th got a call from Cheri stating my car was ready and body shop did an excellent job with repair and painting…she was informed by my wife, Juanita Holloway that I would not be able to pick it up until next morning because I had to work late; she said that would be okay.
August 9th at 8:30 am I arrived to pick up the car and return loaner. Cheri told me she would have them pull car around…about 4 minutes later she came to me and said she had something to show me. The repair looked great than she showed me the back rear on driver side. The vehicle had been hit again, there was red paint on bumper near the rear, bumper between light on side was dented… I explained to Cheri and service advisor Brian Gutierrez that within a week time my 2017 Jeep Summit (California edition) had been involved in 2 accidents (none prior to this) all on the property of the dealership. I no longer wanted to keep car especially when this last accident looked worse than the first one. Cheri apologized and stated she couldn’t make that call but we could see Joe, general manager on the next day. In the meantime, she would send the car back to the body shop. She returned loaner back to me, at this point I was visibly upset with the entire situation. I left around 9:10 am headed to work.
Later that afternoon my wife called stating Cheri called and sent some pictures. When the car got to the body shop they didn’t have to do much for the repair “it looked worse than it actually was”. They buff the paint off the side fender and they “pulled the bumper out” however we could still talk with Joe on the next day. I left work early to pick wife up and head back to the dealership…meanwhile this Sales Manager Tony who I encountered on the first accident called my wife explaining the car was on its way back to dealership and we can pick it up; he further try to explain to my wife what an accident was and the fact and I quote “we have more accidents on the car lot then there are on the streets “ he explained he had been in this business for 30 years and they were not going to give us a new car.. We never asked for a new car! Wife asked him about the depreciation of the vehicle after 2 accidents and 2 body shop visits in a seven-day period. He said it wouldn’t show up because they do the work themselves. He than insulted my wife by saying we should be grateful because they didn’t have to fix the car either time because and I quote “we are not responsible for your car on the lot” and there is a sign that says so (we checked and took pictures there is no such sign). He also added we don’t know what happened with the 2nd accident as to apply we might know. He was reminded the car had not been in our possession since before the 1st accident!!!!
Later around 4:50 pm picked up my wife went to dealership. Reluctantly spoke with Tony I explained I didn’t like his attempt to talk down to us about the entire incident and his blunt lies about me. He accused me of yelling at the salesman after he damaged my car, I told him that was a straight lie and how would he have known anything cause he wasn’t outside when the porter and salesman talked to me ( both of them can testify that I never raised my voice at him) I told him we have purchased 4 new vehicles from your dealership since 2015 not counting the many referrals resulting in sales. I will therefore take my money and my busy elsewhere his reply was “fine we don’t want your money” and he accused me of yelling at him and that might have been the only truth he has told throughout this entire incident because at this point I had had enough of his arrogance, righteous and racist attitude!!! It’s amazing that the people who worked with us regarding this incident were not shocked about his behavior which suggests to me he had done this before.
We have been loyal Chrysler/Dodge owners for over 30 years. My philosophy has always been I do my research, I picked the dealership and it’s the Customer Service (Tony also stated he was not customer service) that keeps me with the dealership and keeps me loyal to the Brand name wherever I may be. It is unfortunate that this incident has tainted my opinion about a brand that my wife and I have enjoyed and when there was a problem it was always dealt with in a courteous and professional way (thank you Cheri and Brian for exhibiting superior customer service). We had planned on purchasing 2 more vehicles within next few months my daughter was going to trade her 2016 journey in for the new compass and after owning the Jeep limited, overland, and Summit we were interested in the SRT as a second vehicle. This will not happen, and we will reluctantly accept the fact we have a new car that “we like” has now been to the body shop twice for repairs and we had nothing to do with it. We will have the car serviced at another local Chrysler dealer cause it’s still under warranty, after that we will break our ties with Chrysler/Dodge!
It is unfortunate on today August 11th wife texted Cheri at 1:42 pm; we discovered more damage on the bumper (exhaust pipe on side where it was hit is bent and scratched paint) We have to return to the same dealership on Monday 13th to deal with this problem. I also sit on the board of a rather large congregation and we will not be making any more referrals to DuPage Chrysler.

I have a 2016 Chrysler 200 the dealership tells me that there is several different transmission for this car. I want to know why this one that I have is always skipping and jerking when I’m driving it and sitting still? The drive train is still under warranty. They also said that it skipping and jerking is because I hadn’t changed my oil.
Regarding our purchase of a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. At the time of our purchase, we were offered navigation for an additional fee. The dealer told us that we could add it later so we chose not to add it at the time of purchase. That was in January 2018 it is now July 2018 and we decided to add the navigation system. We took the Chrysler Pacifica in and were told that it would cost $600 to have the navigation installed. Two days later we were told that it was going to cost $2,000; if it was even possible to do. That is incredible! I can’t believe that in 2018 with the technology that we have that it would cost that much to add a navigation component to a brand new car. We are very disappointed. We were told that Chrysler is now owned by Mercedes and that the engineers for Mercedes were making tremendous improvements to the product line. We are very disappointed to see that this is not an improvement, in fact, it’s a step backwards since it seems ridiculous that in this age of technology that an app could not be added to the current system.
Been waiting for the Customer Service Supervisor to call me back for the lasts couple weeks. It seems I’m not allowed to schedule a time for a phone call to address a manufacture defect with my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude (today’s mileage 10,900) because it’s all about the Supervisor’s time… NOT THE CUSTOMER.
Car is still under warranty…
I live in a remote location of Alaska. It is impossible to take the car to a dealer. The case number of my claim is #34755483 – they closed the first case (#34161599). I’ve spoken with the following ‘Customer Care Representatives’:
May 25, 2018 – Sal,
May 24, 2018 – Aubrina,
May 25-30, 2018 – Lyrissa,
July 17, 2018 – Jameelah,
July 17, 2018 – Roger,
July 19, 2018 – Ron,
July 19, 2018 – Heather,
July 24, 2018 – Ryan,
July 25, 2018 – Ashlynn,
July 25, 2018 – Melissa (who said this case is assigned to a supervisor named Lynn),
July 25, 2018 – Greg who identified himself as a Supervisor but not able to help or schedule a time for the call.
Still not call from anyone with Jeep. This will be the last time I own a Jeep… NEVER AGAIN!!!
Honestly, TOYOTA was the BEST in Customer Service!!! I’ll going back!
It must be with the whole company and licensed dealers. I’m going through a similar nightmare with Chrysler. I got my van back and it was suppose to be all fixed. I had an electrical problem right away and tried to call my case manager. I called and emailed numerous times. She responded with “I’ll get back to you” a couple days later then went on vacation! I then got a call from the backup person a few days later text said that my case manager did what she was supposed to do by contacting me 2 days after I got my vehicle back, which is not what she did because I emailed her and called her 2 days after I got my car back and she didn’t get back to me until the following week where all she told me was that she’d get back to me. Not actually speaking to me in touch just telling me shall get back to me should not be counted as contacting me. Then on top of it when I asked for a manager several times, I get the backup case manager. I hate Chrysler and so do all the people that have stepped in to help me since the dealership and corporation have dropped the ball. I truly think that a work in their own favor instead of ours. I’ve spoken to a Xandria, Brian, JR, Jolene, Mary Ann, and one more I’d need to look up. The new electrical is even their own screw up! They left a loose wire melting on my engine! I saw it just by popping the hood. My back up case manager wants me to take it back to the same screwball dealership and risk being charged for it! They dont help at all. I cannot figure out what a case manager does because all they do is “suggest” and ignore. It’s a nightmare. I wish you luck!
dont get any chrysler product get something else.!!! WE cant even find out where the 2015 junk vehicle we dropped off in 2015 is, yet our credit is being ruined for the last 2 yrs. There ought to be a law!!
No wonder chrysler filed for bankruptcy. They may have 1st time customers, but they never come back!!
Beyond disgusted with Chrysler – leased a 2015 Dodge Dart for my son – made monthly payments on time for 3 years – No accidents, no damage – – clean as can be, Paid off the last months paymente and the 395.00 disposition fee in full aheald of time as well as returned the car to dealership a month in advance. CHeck was cashed and cleared a week later after it was mailed and 3 1/2 months later they are still stating they have no payment. I have faxed over 3-4 times (i have proof) of the cashed check) . No one knows whats going on there – spent hours and hours repeating myself due to their incompetantcy. They now want to charge me 500.00 for damage – NO DAMAGE – normal wear and tear – minor scuff on the rims – after 3 years thats not bad. Will never deal with them again
I own a 2007 commander, have had this issue of random no start for 2 yrs now!! Had it towed several times to dealership, every time it rolls off tow truck starts right up!! Get same results every time, not able to get it to do problem, can’t fix it!! Been stranded several times, mostly going to or from work, get no answer to problem, very poor customer service. It has now been at jeep dealership for a week, they finally think they have problem narrowed down, but keep asking how much do I want to spend to find problem!!! REALLY!! When this problem 1st started it was under warranty, not my fault they couldn’t find the problem!! Now not under warranty and gonna ask how much I am willing to spend to fix it!! I have read over 50 blogs of people having the exact same problem and crysler knows there is a problem but don’t recall the jeeps to fix the problem, they just sit back and take the consumers money, the same tax paying consumers that bailed their asses out!!! This has diffently opened my eyes to how dealerships work, have always loved jeeps but will never buy another one!!!
i have a 2012 town and country that i just replaced the re axel bearing 80,0 for this improperly machined

his answer was call chrysler i did and got no where outraged i went to a local shop and had it done
triano wanted 475,00 i will never go there again and never buy another chrysler product again
i will say there sales dept was exceptional the service manager NO GOOD
My wife and I turned to Jeep Manhattan after knowing many happy owners.
One week after purchasing our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the dealership went bankrupt. The phone calls and emails go unanswered.
The vehicle began to have mechanical issues within a month and still no dealer reply.
Finally two months later we were able to contact the manager by phone. We both were hung up on two separate times.
We turned to Jeep’s supposed “Customer Care”. After numerous emails over the course of months…. nothing. No resolution. No response. No communication at all.
We will never buy another product from a company that treats its customers like this, ever.
I am a retired employee. I worked at the zone office in St Louis until they closed it…and then transferred over to Chrysler Financial unil that office was closed. I recevied a letter stating I was eligible for the EP program. I accessed the site and listed my family members. When my daughter bought a jeep the dealership had trouble verifying the control number. I was told that since I retired from Chrysler Financial I wasn’t eligible for an EP discount. Why would Chrysler send me a letter giving me the eligibility and access to the site and then tell me I can not use it?
my Chrysler 2015 200 s, Has has a problem with water leaking inside since I got it I have been back and forth to Massey Yardley for a year with the same issue. So I had to get Chrysler directly involved. Once i did that Massey Yardley agreed to fix the leaks with no charge. I had to take the car back about three times because after the first time of them agreeing to fix the leak the car was still getting water inside, now this time there telling me that the water is coming from the evaporated box which I don’t understand why that wasn’t discovered from the beginning being that the car is wet in the same spots. So now there telling me that that has to be repaired which is about over 500 dollars for the repairs that i will have to pay out of pocket, even though they agreed to fix the leak in the first place and not only that i purchased the extended warranty which i was told was maximum coverage but for some reason the evaporator box is not covered . My car has been at massey yardley for a month now and I don’t know what else to do this is clearly unfair . the car itself should have never been sold with this problem the car has mold inside now which makes me sick.all im getting is the option for a trade in which they will add the over 12,000 dollars the owned onto a new car purchase which will make car payments extremely high . why should i have to pay for a car that was no good and should have never been sold, this is so against there statement about .. WE WOULDN’T SELL A CAR WE WOULDN’T DRIVE YOURSELF… I have ask several times to speak with someone in the corporate office still have not received a call
Can you tell me since when a Dodge 1500 SXT that has no automatic car starter, no.running boards, not even a cd disc costs 51000 after the MRC financing of 25% what have they changed so much that it is more expensive that the dodge outdoorsman that comes with all the extras… bought it Saturday tried to return Monday morning due to a financial hardship that happened even though the bank said it didnt go through yet the dealership wouldn’t let me out had to go through REPO if I wanted out… Vehicle never left the lot keys never touched my hand and money never exchanged but signed that darn paper…. I will never speak good about Dodge ever again… I will.never step foot near them again…
CAUTION DO NOT BUY A DODGE RAM, complete steering failure while driving and Dodge doesn’t think this is an issue.
My son was driving his 2013 Dodge Ram 1500, he was only travelling at about 40km per hour, suddenly he has no ability to steer the vehicle. This could have resulted in a crash that could have killed him on innocent people, calls to Dartmouth Dodge did nothing and yet no concern either, contacted Dodge customer care which is a complete joke, and they didn’t seem to care either. Suggested they should at least know the cause so this may not happen to a family in one of these vehicles and result in injury or death. Again they didn’t really seem to be concern. Vehicle is at a garage now and we will video tape the problem and post on social media so people are aware of this possible failure. I have no intentions of ever buying another Dodge Ram.
After a dramatically insulting and unsuccessful trip to 3 dealerships in an attempt to purchase a new Jeep I reluctantly decided to contact Jeep through their official website. I ended up in a chat session that I feel may have been equally unsuccessful and insulting. After an extended chat because the representative said she would document my feedback I was pawned off on some military incentive plan that the dealership not only told me I may not qualify for but in no way affected the potential sale of the vehicle after the sales manager used what I can only describe as some kind of quantum mathematical equation. I didn’t chose to contact Jeep looking for handouts but to provide feedback on my experience.
Don’t buy a fiat!
I purchased a 2016 fiat 500x .I have been without it for 4 months due them not having the part! This was a question that was asked at the time of the sale if the parts would be hard to get, we were reassured that they would not! The corporation keeps changing the dates of when the part will be manufactured. I have paid 4 car payments with out driving my car. We also bought the top warranty too. My fiat fogs up when I drive it it’s either to cold or two hot it slips the transmission. I am not a happy customer and would like to share this with anyone that is thinking of buying a fiat, please don’t!
Careful when taking your car for service at Courtesy Chrysler for service – they add a fee of 24….+ to every person for waste disposal — had door repair on NEW van and mud flaps added and charged a fee for wasted disposal — not sure what they had to dispose of — RIP OFF and good way to make more money at the dealership
VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH HAYES CHRYSLER IN LAWRENCEVILLE GA.
I had made an appointment for my 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 6.7L to have done 4 recalls on it .
They said that they will need the truck in for about two and half days . So rented it a car and dropped off the truck . I did ask the called ” Service Manager ” when you guys are replacing the water pump, are you guys gonna replace the serpentine belt too ? The answer was NO, and I said how about if I’ll buy it would you put in ? The answer was sure . When I dropped the truck after a few hours I got a call from the dealer and they asked for money if I want to have my serpentine belt replaced. I said but you’ll take it off anyway, why should I pay for it ? They said that they work around it, they don’t have to touch the serpentine belt, then is when I realize that I took the truck to a dealership that they think that my water pump seats in front of the radiator on the front grill . I just told them that I’ll come and get my truck back, I did asked the polite not to do anything to the truck and I’m so lucky that I have an app that records all my conversations and I even told them that, so now I can post on Facebook and all the media so I can speed the word what some dealers are doing with our cars .
I know this is not Chrysler Fault, but I think they need to train better their employees . I was very upset and I even told the guy that my water pump is not in the trunk, on the wheel or on the radiator and that last time I’d check was still activated by the serpentine belt, but they want to charge money even though they have to at least loosen it up, if they will take it off actually will make their job easier and will create a better way to work due to having space .
I got an appointment to a different dealership and for my surprise they said they will be done actually in one day .
I will also write a complain on BBB to let everyone know they we are getting treated, like some fouls that don’t know nothing about engines.
To all of you out there stay away from the Dealership in Lawrenceville GA .
Brought 2014 Jeep Cherokee in fo loud exhaust, flex pipe is rusted needs to be replaced and is not covered estimated cost $1564.80 if it was the catalytic converter it would be covered. My husband has tried to get assistance dealership said he spoke with case worker from Chrysler she said my husband was mean to her. My husband is upset I don’t thing he was trying to be mean to her he was just looking for someone to help us. Dealer said if we don’t have a dealer do repair it will void warranty car has 41,000 miles. We currently have one income we have owned a total of 8 jeeps can’t believe some from Chrysler is no willing to help. I hope no others seniors have to go threw this situation it has been very stressful.
I purchased a new 2014 dodge larime long horn. For anyone that know the edition it is suppose to be one of the top of the line editions. My father has always been a dodge man I have always purchased GM. He also purchased the same truck he had it first. I will NEVER again purchase a dodge. My water pump went out my truck had been in repair for over 2 weeks on top of that I got mini van as a rental in exchange for my pick up that I work with. Because I’m in the high way all day everyday I was told dodge would not cover the FULL price of the rental. Mileage has to be under 100k miles. Dodges back order is the only reason I have the mini van this long in the first place. You would think if I bring in a truck for repair I would get a truck for a rental? This is pathetic chrysler has a part as simple as a water pump on back order nationwide for over 2 weeks? Dodge has totally gave me a bad impression of service and quality of product. I do understand companies have issues and problems but a water pump for over 2weeks? I never had this problem with GM maybe that’s why I never ventured away from GM
I am tryi g lease a Dodge durango from tje dealer. The issue I am having is that every dealer says something different. I would like it to my liking. One dealer will say yes the vehicle comes that way or we can make it happen for you, a other dealer says no the vechile doesn’t come with that and they say the other dealer must have made there own changes, example I want a black with black top package . Some will say other dealers are painting rims, no we cant do that for you, no we dont offer this or that etc etc.. I feel no one is giving me the customer service I need. Nothing but lies. This has make me change my mind and seek elsewhere.
Bought my brand new maxed out Pacifica…2018, TERRIBLE DISAPPOINTMENT! Why can’t you recall the TRANSMISSION????? You replaced it once, under 12,000 miles and now when the CLUNK sounds starts and it’s shifting poorly you say “it’s a sound the van makes????” Shame on you for selling this car, after arbitration, NOW I need to file LEMON LAW! Share this anyone who can read it, please PLEASE DON’T BUY THIS PACIFICA UNTIL THEY FIX AND/OR RECALL THE TRANSMISSION! I bought a $50,000 brand new VAN and I’m disgusted.
This is just a good bye letter from a soon to be ex Dodge owner. My Dodge Caliber R/T has a problem with the suspension crossmember rusting away and I was never informed about this issue. I guess there was a 10 year extended warranty for the part but I just noticed this while changing a ball joint. Now the 10 years has past and it’s my loss. Nobody seemed to care when I called the Dodge customer service and the warranty department so this is the end of the road for me ever buying a Dodge, Chrysler, Mopar ever again in my life. I’ve been looking at a new Dodge Ram crew cab 4×4 so I guess with this happening was a blessing. No more Mopars for me. If you can’t honor this knowing it was faulty then good bye
Good Morning, Today is May 2, 2018. I own a 2007 Jeep Liberty 4WD 4DR Sport. I am second owner of this vehicle I purchased the vehicle in August 2010. My problem is the windows sliding down into door. Drivers side door in 2014. The jeep dealer said it was not covered under recall. I stood my ground and argues it should be because it is still a 2007 Jeep Liberty with an issues that company deemed as a problem and made a recall on said issue. It is now 2018 and my left passenger window won,t close. sliding down in door. vehicle I D Number is 1J4GL48KX7W604157 with 88,725 miles. Again It is a 2007 Jeep Liberty with a window problem that is very costly to repair. Here is the recall I am referring to . Why Does My Window Keep Falling Into the Door?
Without the window regulator, power windows become useless. That’s exactly what has happened to thousands of Jeep owners; hundreds have complained about their windows falling into the door — sometimes at highway speeds!
Jeep Liberty Window Problem By Year
When you look at the number of complaints broken down by model year1, an obvious defect trend emerges, especially prevelant in 2006 and 2007:
Chrysler Extends the Liberty Window Warranty
In late 2010, Chrysler sent out this notice to 2006-2007 Jeep Liberty owners2. Here’s an abridged copy:
“This letter is to inform you that the warranty period has been extended for Window Lift Plate repairs on your Chrysler Group LLC Jeep Liberty to 7 years from the vehicle’s original in service date with no mileage limitation. This extended warranty coverage applies to Jeep Liberty model years 2006-2007.
We are extending the warranty period for Window Lift Plate repairs because some vehicles have experienced repeat concerns with window components … If you are experiencing the conditions as described in this warranty extension within 7 years from the vehicle’s in service date, simply contact your dealer to have the repairs performed.
If you have already experienced this window regulator concern and have paid to have it repaired, you may be eligible to receive a reimbursement.
If you have questions or need any assistance, please contact your dealer or the Chrysler Customer Assistance Center between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, EST. They can be reached at 1-877-426-5337.
Chrysler is taking this action to demonstrate its commitment to your continued satisfaction.
This extended warranty apparently doesn’t apply to 2006 Jeep Liberty’s with a build date before March 16, 2006 – to find your Liberty’s build date, check the label on the driver’s door edge. Either way it’s still worth a call to the dealership. So far we’ve heard only good things about people being able to be reimbursed by Chrysler for their previous window repairs. We don’t get to say this very often, but nice work, Chrysler. Please cover this as the recall you had set back in 2010. Thank you Lynda M Viles
What is taking so long to publish my comment?
It would seem that this “comment section” is the end of the road for a Dodge customer. I sent an inquiry to MOPAC regarding an irregularity with my Dodge 08 Charger. I conveyed to MOPAC that my brakes were functioning in an irregular way. The irregular way that I speak of is the unusual transition that has started to occur when braking in the normal sense and experiencing ABS mode style braking.
I was driving at a speed of approximately forty miles per hour when I applied a smooth and steady pressure on the brake pedal to stop the vehicle. My vehicle transitioned into ABS braking for no apparent reason and my brake pedal depressed all the way to the back wall of the pedal bay. This was unexpected and jarring to experience with a vehicle that so far had proven to be dependable. I took the vehicle to my local dealership who ran a diagnostic test and informed me that they could not find an error code therefore they would not be taking further corrective action directed at the problem I brought up.
I contacted MOPAC and received a reply from the representative known as “Jocelyn” who contacted me and instructed me to wait for the problem to occur again and then attempt to take the vehicle to the same dealership that was unable to solve the problem in the first place. This was a jarring example of disregard towards a loyal customer who simply approached the producing company for help with a problem that appeared with their product. The problem has been reported to NHTSA and further legal action could be pursued as a result of the inaction towards the defect.
I put My 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee in park except ur digital gear shifter went into reverse instead. As I was getting out of the vehicle it took off in reverse and dragged me down the block with my foot in the car and smashed into a tree.
I purchased a brand new 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude in November 2017 and have had nothing but PROBLEMS since the third day I owned it. The vehicle has a starting problem. I push the button and it does not. Sometimes it takes up to 15 mins for it to finally start after repeatedly pressing the button. I have received absolutely no satisfaction with the dealership. They don’t know how to fix the problem. One person there told me it was a known issue, others are saying they’ve never seen this problem. This non-start issue has continued to this day, 5 months later. I find it very irresponsible that they are selling vehicles their technicians do not know how to fix. This is a safety issue. If I had an emergency and needed to get in my vehicle and go, there is a good chance it would not start and that is RIDICULOUS!
Over the last month more problems have started. The vehicle does not always reverse when shifted into reverse, then not moving at all when shifted back to drive. It takes several turn off and turn back on attempts to get it to move again. The R on the shifter panel flashes. This has almost created large accidents when I have been in traffic situations but couldn’t move because my vehicle is trash. The air conditioner also does not turn on from time to time and the radio volume does not adjust.
I have opened several cases with Jeep customer service and was told an Account Manager would get back to me. I never was contacted. I have been calling back to follow up for months. I have tried every way I know how to find a phone number to Jeep’s corporate office, or the office of FCA rather with no luck.
Well after viewing all other comments it looks like I’m just another notch on this Corp. belt. Boy are we a bunch of suckers. I purchased a 2010 Jeep Wrangler as well. I also have been wanting one since I was a kid. Well my husband helped that dream come true and now it’s been nothing but a nightmare. First problem I experienced was the leaks on each of the front doors of the vehicle to the point we had to take mats out because we were having a nice puddle forming inside so when I drive now it’s with my feet being up in the air so my pant legs do not become drenched before I get to my destination. The most devastating part now we took Jeep in for recall on airbags and we are now getting a new engine. What is the problem here the Chrysler Corp. hasn’t got enough from us at purchase so they build these vehicles to last about 5 yrs or so then things go bad and an additional fee gets tacked on, plus it’s not minor these things that are happening to a lot of us are major. I loved my Jeep so much even the leaks didn’t bother me but now being told I need a whole new engine blows my mind. I don’t abuse it because I was planning to have it forever, I don’t even take it on the beach or woods.
Also, I’ve had many people approach me and ask what it’s like to own a Jeep because they are thinking of getting one. Sad part, I have said in the past it’s pretty cool and doesn’t ride like a Jeep. My answer from now on will be quite different. I will tell everyone I know and the strangers who approach me that’s it’s a lemon. I will state from the beginning that it leaks like a waterfall and I’m wading in puddles to another new engine which my Jeep is only 8yrs old and no abuse to maybe the transmission which also gave us a problem during the engine situation. So thanks Chrysler you’re sure a reputable company. To me, this is your way of staying alive by suckers like me.
I have reported this to the NHTSA. Also, I have started a social media blitz of the failure of my 2017 Ram truck seat when impacted from the rear causing me to have a head on collision. As much as I have loved the Ram trucks I was really hoping your company would do the right thing. I will continue getting my issue put in front of different people in your organization. Once I have a Demand letter written, I will mail it to you to get that process started.
“Loss of vehicle control by a driver when the seatback collapses rearward in an uncontrolled manner during a rear impact;
“Reduced effectiveness of the restraint system when the collapsed seatback allows the front seat occupant to rotate and slide rearward from under the lap belt during a rear impact, thus enabling potential injurious contact with rear seat objects and passengers;
“Ejection of occupants who have slid out from beneath their lap and shoulder harness system…
“Injury to rear seat passengers who are likely to be struck by the violent rearward motion of the front seat occupant collapsing into their rear seat passenger area…
“Reduction or loss of egress capabilities of rear seat passengers whose bodies are likely to be trapped under the plastically deformed and collapsed front seatbacks…
“Injury to fully restrained front seat passengers during a frontal impact when the seatback easily collapses from the rear loading of a lap belted or unrestrained rear seat passenger (or heavy object)…”[29]
The consequences of seat failures are serious and sometimes fatal injuries, due to impact in the interior of the vehicle or ejection from the vehicle and contact outside.[30] In some cases occupants in the rear seat are killed as a result of seats in front of them, loaded with a passenger, collapsing onto them.[31] It has been estimated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that in 1990 alone 1,100 people died and 1,600 more sustained serious injuries because their seats collapsed rearward in rear-impact collisions.[32]
I purchased a 2013 dodge grand caravan brand new and after only 5 years and only 42,000 miles I had to put in a new transmisdion. Dodge would only cover a porsion even though it was it was internal to me it was a manufactory flaw. I am very disappointed with dodge.
My husband and I are fed up! We bought a 2011 Town and Country, Touring, in July of 2016. 67k miles on it when we got it, and we thought it had everything we wanted. It was back in the dealership within three weeks of buying it (we were out of town the first two weeks) and to date, it has been in a shop eight times. Several issues were small and repeats- broken window gears, leaking seals on seat belts, leaking windows- but we have had several big ones, including the most recent. We went to our trusted mechanic and discovered one of the pistons is not operating correctly. Supposedly, this is covered under a warranty, but each dealership we spoke to said no as it is more than five years old. We bought the extended warranty originally, and then sold it back last fall when none of the first seven problems were “covered” under it. I didn’t realize that vans had multiple, major mechanical issues at 82k miles. We are currently trying to sell this van even though we will lose a lot of money on it. I don’t feel safe driving my kids anywhere, and prefer using our 5 passenger 4runner instead. Any helpful suggestions? We are out of ideas.
We were driving our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica when the emergency parking brake went on for no reason. When we called the dealership they said there is a way to go through the computer on the dashboard to release it. Well that failed and the car said ‘service emergency brake’. We waited for 6 hours for Chrysler road side to come tow us (note we are on Long Island with the dealership only a few miles away and a body shop on every corner). The tow truck had to disconnect the battery to tow it. Thankfully we were on a side street with little traffic. Imagine if this was a highway!
It has been in the shop for over 2 weeks now and they have not returned our call – So fed up!
This corporation as a whole is nothing short of terrible!!! Ask for help on a transmission for a caravan that completely failed at 54000 miles! I was assured I would get some sort of assistance with this $5000+ problem and 10 days later they left me on my own to cover 100% of the repair costs!!! This corporation/ company as a whole is awful in every way from making cheap unreliable vehicles to non-caring/unhelpful employee’s!!
They get 0 out of 5 stars!!
Bought a 2017 Ram Laramie Crew 4×4 retails at royghly $54,000 last Nov. Im at four payments 4,350 miles and there has been no fix to my shaking while driving. For the second time yesterday I called to request Hrysler to repurchase the truck back. I am still waiting. I am giving the chance to try another ram but the longer I wait the more I dont think so. Last 8 vin. HS780857 I BELIEVE……. or HS870857….. I would check but its at home while I drive the wifes Grand Cherokee that is similar to our other Grand Cherokee. Come on and save a Mopar customer. Buy it back so I can buy another Ram. Dont jerk me around.
My name is Andrea. I bought a 2008 dodge caliber from a roadside dealer who purchase their cars from repo auctions. My new car needed several new parts of course and I took care of that right away. When my caliber returned from its TLC, it was great! Zippy, fun to drive, as its a 5 speed!. Yesterday, my 17 year old, over confident on ice driving son lost control of the vehicle on said ice.. He ended up head on into a tree at around 50 mph.(as I said, over confident). 3 airbags deployed, and thanks to the construction of this car, my son walked away with a few bumps and a small burn on his arm from air bag, but he went to school today!! So, I wanted to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU, because I still have my son! I am sad that the car can not be repaired or replacedas it was underinsured and I put all I had into it. Thank you again, and I’d be happy to endorse this vehicle.. Andrea Laraway
Sahara Chrysler Jeep Dodge asshats
Please Please anyone reading this please don’t buy a vehicle here, don’t take your vehicle here for any reason. My so & his girlfriend took her brand new jeep bought in Sept 2017 to have them look at a door clip (the one that clips at your feet area for the lights & door straps) They showed one of the services guys the wire that was pulled out of the clip. They asked for an estimate to fix it. When they told them it would be $350 dollars my son & his girlfriend told them no we are not ready to spend that. When they came back to pick up the vehicle they did not notice until they got the vehicle home that the clip they showed the tech was now gone. They went back to get the clip & they told my son & his girl NO go buy one! The clip wasn’t the dealerships to steal out of this jeep. So I called to talk to the manager about this situation, I made an appointment to meet with him. When I got there Friday all this manager wanted to do was tell us it was our fault it broke because she removed the doors. And that they did not have her clip & it wasn’t covered under warranty (a 6 month old jeep) I told him the doors have never been removed and it has never been off road. He called us liars. I was in shocked that a manager was this stupid to call me a liar. I’m extremely pissed that anyone in customer service would have the guts the balls no brains to call anyone that potentially could destroy their business a liar!

Know.
FYI – Chrysler Corporation shows no help with one of their manufacturing flaws. First I would like to say I have no problem with the service department at C&C Dodge that has worked on my 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 since I purchased it new and the salesman (Jason) who sold it to me is super. I recently had a water leak on the driver’s side grab handle and took it to the dealer for repair. I was told it was out of warranty and it was going to cost $700.00 to fix. One reason was they no longer make the trim piece for my truck so I would have to purchase both sides which doubles my cost. I was upset that this product failed. It is part of the body and should never fail. I called Chrysler to contest having to pay the full amount to fix a problem I have seen on the internet that others have had issues with same leak. I spoke with Kyle and Tracy who are the final say for Chrysler complaint department (case # 33494053) whom informed me they could not help with this problem because my warranty ran out in 2016 and the 77,000 miles on my truck made it ineligible for any relief. I asked to further my complaint to her supervisor and was told that this was the only avenue I had and they had final say on these types of request – goodbye and have a nice day. So my dilemma is at the end of this year when I am ready to purchase a new truck should I buy one from a company who couldn’t except some responsibility for the workmanship flaw or look elsewhere? This is not how you treat a loyal customer who spent over $44,000 on their product – so my next vehicle will not be a Dodge Ram truck and maybe someone will read this and be aware that the Chrysler Corporation really doesn’t care about their customers as advertised. Sorry have a good day.
Sincerely RBarniak

I AM A ARMY VETERAN AND CALLED YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO INQUIRE ABOUT WHAT OFFERS YOUR COMPANY HAS FOR MILITARY AND ALSO ABOUT DIFFERENT FEATURES THAT I MIGHT NEED WITH MY DISABILITY. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY ARE NOT THERE TO GIVE INFORMATION AND THAT I NEEDED TO CALL A DEALERSHIP. I ALSO ASK TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WILL CALL ME IN TWO DAYS. YOUR COMPANY DOES NOT SUPPORT VETS AND HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCE. I SACRIFICE MY LIFE FOR THE COUNTRY AND JUST WANTED HELP, I WILL LIKE TO REPORT THIS MATTER AND WILL BE WRITING A LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT OF YOUR COMPANY WHILE PUTTNG THIS EXPERIENCE ON THE MILITARY CAR PAGE. I AM HURT AND DEVASTED BY THIS EXPERIENCE!!!!
My last thoughts that I forgot to write at the end of my prior comments:
IT IS ABOUT TIME JEEP OFFERS A BETTER STANDARD WARRANTY TO KEEP CURRENT WITH OTHER COMPANIES THAT ARE INTELLIGENT ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND THE ABSOLUTE,INARGUABLE,SELLING POINT THAT MORE SAVVY CONSUMERS ARE NOW DEMANDING.
Hyundai,kia both offer a 60,000 mile BUMPER TO BUMBPER WARRANTY,and a 100,000 mile ENGINE/
POWERTRAIN WARRANTY.***If I am BUYING A JEEP TO GO OFF ROAD OFTEN ( which obviously will
present much more wear and tear ) then JEEP SHOULD UP THEIR GAME AND OFFER A BETTER
WARRANTY.
ALL 2018 VW’S WILL NOW HAVE A 6 YEAR 72,000 MILE WARRANTY.
I have test driven the 2017 Jeep Compass Trailhawk and wanted to express to ANYONE IN CORPORATE who will actually listen to why someone WON’T BUY A NEW JEEP,hopefully to improve the product.
Most dealerships ( I visited 3 ) do not reflect the ACTUAL PRICE QUOTED ONLINE,NOR WHAT AUTOTRADER.COM LISTS.
The biggest reason the Compass trailhawk misses sales,in my opinion,is there is ONLY ONE SINGLE ENGINE AND IT’S UNDERPOWERED,and the wheels are not only TOO SMALL ( 17’s not 18’s ),but are
NOT VERY MASCULINE nor do they look like they BELONG ON THE UPGRADED TRAILHAWK
model that demands upwards of $30k dollars !!!
Not offering the SAME WHEEL/TIRE set up as what the Cherokee Trailhawk offers is A G-I-G-A-N-T-I-C
M-I-S-T-A-K-E…especially since it IS INTENDED FOR OFFROAD TRAIL USE more than on road.
*I found several off road wheel/tire packages online, but NO ONE COULD TELL ME IF THEY WOULD FIT THE COMPASS TRAILHAWK after speaking to several techs,SO I DECIDED NOT TO BUY THE CAR.
I will wait for 2019 CHEROKEE TRAILHAWK with OBVIOUSLY NECESSARY front and rear visual changes,as well as the option of the 270 h.p 4 cylinder being shown in the NEW WRANGLER with 295lb.ft. torque.
I purchased a Grand Cherokee in 2014 with 27000 miles on it. This car had a 5 year 100,000 mile power train warranty which would have covered my transmission. December 23 2017 my transmission went at 49,000 miles. Apparently the welding broke on the output shaft that caused the gears to destroy themselves. I contacted their goodwill department to see if I could get assistance being that I was only out of warranty by 3 months and still under for 50,000 miles. They gave a fat no because “although you have your service records and take great care of the car, we do not have previous service records before you.” Which in reality should not matter because the transmission service wasn’t due for another at least 20,000 miles. I call headquarters and they say “sorry can’t help you out, good will decision is final.” So not only does HQ have no say, but they will not give me the time of day to look into this claim. 50,000 miles on my car, and the transmission goes?!? And no one will stand behind jeeps brand of being hardy and long?lasting? I seriously will reconsider buying a jeep in the future and urge others to do the same.
Hello
My wife owns a 2016 Jeep wrangler.
On Jan 4 mid morning the Track bar disconnected from the Rear axle which she took to St Albert Dodge immediately. Another driver actually got her toi pull over and tell my wife something was hanging from the back.
After speaking with St Albert dodge on the phone they said warranty will not cover it and it will cost us 7000.00 CAD. We are in shock to this since it a vital safety piece of equipment and is not covered under warranty or extended warranty.
I have spoke to customer care today Jan 8 2018 and they called St Albert dodge while I was on hold, when she came back online the lady said the dealer has said the Jeep has been airborne and thus no coverage.
My wife is in her mid 40’s and uses the vehicle for driving kids to school and hockey practice not using it as a plane.
Customer care has acknowledged and accepted the St Albert dodge response that it was airborne and has failed to believe us that it has never been airborne and providing zero evidence other than word of mouth from a service tech or Manager I assume.
I can assure you we have never has this vehicle in the air and for Jeep Customer care to take that on word is simply un justifiable.
Iam contacting you via a form online due to it appears out word against theres has been exhausted and we require someone to listen to us and see that we indeed did not get this vehicle airborne.
Please contact me
Thanks
looking at the comments I own a 2013 Chrysler 200 touring. first couple of months after purchasing car ran hot stalled on freeway took about 2 weeks too gets parts and repair. this pass Nov transmission stated slipping said they repaired it low and behold did not last long had the same issue car stopped dead in the middle of M59 where the speed limit is 50 mph. car stayed there until cops had too protect me from getting hit from the rear was on my way too take the car for an appointment stop about 1.5 miles from Dealer car had too be towed and Chrysler would not pay for towing which was $150.00 second time less than 2 months for the same thing now car would not move. now that is very sad for a car with only 60,395 miles on it I have owned a 2006 charger when they first came off that went 269,000 before it died should not have this type of a problem with a car with such low miles . I will be looking too get in touch with the NTHSA because truly this is a safety defect I could have gotten killed being a sitting duck coming from a Chrysler I will be looking at something else at this years auto show maybe GM or Ford
In September of 2017, I purchased a vehicle through the Jeep, dodge and Chrysler dealership in Fort Walton beach Florida. Apon signing for the truck the sales manager and I spoke and I was unsure if I had the title physically on me . The said no problem if you sign this contract it gives us permission to get the title . I said that is fine I will look for it and we continued the process. After the process the Sales manager there Chris calls me stating I have to give him the physical title or he will suspend my tags. NEVER once did we speak about that . And number two the sales manager has now been texting me for the last two months harassing me for them on several occasions. To where he sends me text messages and calls me as late as 10 pm at night . What a professional MANAGER . I still have all of the text messages to show . Please some one from corporate contact me so I can speak to a professional I refuse to speak to to the Chrysler dealership in Fort Walton Florida .
I have a 2013 1500 ram and the ignition switch has gone on it, the price is on back order and will be at least a month to get it in. There is over 120 people waiting for this to come in one would think that this would be a recall. Nope it isn’t. This is just I e more reason why I will never buy a dodge product again nothing but a pain in my a…
2016 Challenger Scat Pack, having issues with window trim warping and discolored, Uconnect, interior molding not fitting properly. Engine is starting to tick on passenger side, rear differential starting to wine at 60mph in 6th gear. Dealer not wanting to take care of issues car has 12,000 miles on it.. Called Dodge to complain and the told me to go to another dealership which is fine but that dealership doesn’t offer loaners. Customer service sucks, I have bought 3 dodge vehicles since 2013, This particular one was almost 50,000$ and this is the service I get?? Take my money and Run Dodge but you won’t get my business back anytime soon if you don’t rectify the issue. I have documented all the bs I was told at my
current dealership. Kept voicemails, and phone records of the times I have called.
Bought a new ram 1500 silver edition may 2017 only 1 mechanical issue so far feel a bump when taking off maybe trans or drive shaft asked about it service mang said they all do it let it slide for right now having trouble with paint issues . This dealership is a joke will never do business with them again. Corp needs to retrain all these people that represent their company rude and obnoxios oeople
My name is Clay Bosh. I am sick and tired of Dodge lieing, cheating, stealing and committing fraud against the consuming public. I bought a 2014 3500 Larime. Two months after buying a right rear tail went out (no bulb, easy cheap replacement) but rather $300.00 stinking dollars. Dodge in Athens, Texas would not honer the Warrenty. Since that time the computer said my DEF tank was full and needed replacement. This was at 75000 miles. $1300.00. lier. My DEF tank was not full. Eight Dodge owners have told me the same thing happened to them. The list goes on and on and on. The only reason I own a Dodge is because of the Cummins engine. Dodge hasn’t gotten their grimy little hands on it. I bought the truck as a work truck. Has been a work for over 200,000 miles. My wife and I are waisting away in a motel as we wait for Dodge to stumble over their own feet. To get to us in a timely time frame a part. Wrong part sent, now they will try again. Tomorrow. If I had a million dollars I wouldn’t invest in Dodge. But, alas all the US car makers are probably the same thieves, cheated you do these things of your Father. The Devil, you have believed a lie. Ever since I bought this truck the transmission has been going out. It will one of these days. Every truck this year the transmission is JUNK.Every Dodge owners I have talked to has told me they have the same transmission problems
Very disappointed in your customer service. Have had my vehicle at the dealership for over a month and have had so many broken promises of callbacks from my case manager. This is getting ridiculous. I under stand you may have tons of cases but Do not tell someone you will call them back within your shift if you have no intention of it. Your communication with us and the dealership d sucks!
Just bought my 2nd Chrysler 300. It did not come w/ a manual. I found one online for a 50$ fee. I am so annoyed. At 69 yrs old you want me to go online everytime I have to look something up?
I think that idea is not business friendly.
I will NEVER purchase another Jeep or Dodge vehicle!!! EVER AGAIN!!!!! worst customer service in HISTORY!!!
My husband and I had to Evacuate from Hurricane Irma. Our transmission broke down right as we got to our destination. we followed their Instructions that were given to us by them to take it to the closest dealership for diagnostic. Diagnostic determined it was CUSTOMER CAUSE!!!. Therefore we would NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE!!!!! Thats Total BS!!!! The PROCESS took a whole month which caused me lost my employment and I’m out of pocket $4000. dollars…
Thank so much Dodge and Chrysler Jeep for your UN GRATITUDE TOWARDS YOUR CUSTOMERS! NEVER
AGAIN!!!!
My dad has been having problems with his 2015 town and country. at only 27,000 miles the check engine light came on. He took the vehicle for a diagnostics and the result showed that it was a problem with the transmission. He took his vehicle to the south shore Chrysler dodge jeep and ram. They run the same diagnostics and the same things comes up. Instead of rebuilding the transmission like they were originally supposed to, the tried to fool my dad and taking short cuts and just changing the transmission fluid to get rid of the check engine light. After a week they called said the car was ready. He came down took the car for a test drive and the light came on again and this repeated 3 more times in one day. They refused to provide a loaner car at first as well. Took them 2 weeks of my dad not being able to work to fix the car. The service department in this dealership is garbage and the technicians and mechanics try to fool you and do as little work as possible
Hi my name joel calderon I am from Massachusetts but I went to Puerto Rico a rented 2017 Dodge Durango gt I am a mopar guy I am a mechanic and restore old cars just mopar I like the look of the truck but a week later I found a tiny safety problem the rear taillights went the tailgate is open they have sharp coners I get injured I think is something you guys need to take a look if a child get closer something bad get happen I have pictures about location of the taillights and my injury
I have a 2012 Jeep Cherokee Laredo August 30 it shut off after remote starting it. Only to come out to a dead car with a horrible burning smell. Trying to jump it started to smoke and drained the jump box. Had it towed to local garage. Started to research online to discover the recent recall issued days before. Called Chrysler and was told there are no replacement parts available yet. Local dealership, Domiano’s was completely useless and rude telling me a loaner car was not an option and if I took my jeep there to wait for parts they would charge me $65.00 a day for storage. So now I am left with no vehicle. I have 3 kids and a job to juggle now relying on family and friends for rides. There is no resolution to the recall and no compensation for Chrysler’s faulty product. chrysler said I can pay out of pocket to repair my car and I could get reimbursed when the recall is issued. Problem is when the alternator fried it also fried my battery and computer, the cost to repair would be over $2300.00, not something I have. Ur who is to say that there is any additional damage done. Chysler doesn’t even know the extent of the damage this faulty alternator is causing which is why they are delaying the release of parts to the dealerships. At this point I don’t even want the car and would not recommend purchasing a Chrysler product. There customer service on the phone just keep passing me around to different reps trying to pacify me but in the end still no resolution and no car. I guess as a large corporation me as a single customer don’t matter, regardless of if it is fixed or not I still have to pay the car loan. For once it would be nice for the big guy to help the little guy instead of just looking down and laughing.
Very disgusted customer

Milford jeep dealer stay away from nothing but problems! Purchased lifetime tire contract that they will not honor said it’s not their problem they no longer have relationship with Goodyear. The manager tried telling me I never rotated my tires when I had asked service to and you payed for it you would except it. The manager Ed tried telling my husband and I that we should have gotten something fixed and never did that’s why they can’t help I told him we have had all our service done here to stay in contract and that was a lie. He said if something need to be fixed they wouldn’t always tell you. I have never heard of something like this. Even when service was not fixing our other problem Paul the manager apologized for not checking the car the first 4 times. White picking it up. The service department can’t fix their own cars and you need to bring it back 5 times for the same issue. Finally got a call back from the manager and he abruptly hung up on me said it’s not his problem. We spent the $ don’t waste yours. Worst service ever! Not to mention we have owned 6 jeeps but after this experience we are looking to purchase another vehicle. We are more then disappointed very unprofessional! Not to mention we have a sick child and when going through a very rough time with lots of trips up to Boston children’s hospital and I expressed I rely on my jeep and want to make sure it is taken care of the lack of concern.
I bought a new 2016 chrysler 200 and before the first oil change my car ran out of oil..i have taken back to the dealership after this happened several time they said they changed my engine twice with the same results. They refused to take back the car and refund me my $$ after i almost got killed on the highway because my engine ceased up and died. I hired a lemon law attorney to negotiate a refund and the only offer chrysler offered me was a bill to pay them $5600 to take back their defective car. I am thoroughly disappointed and would never purchase another vehicle from chrysler . I am stuck with a car that could potentially cause a accident or death to me or my loved ones and they could care less. I hope the government see what theyre doing and do something before someone lose their lives.
I purchased a 2015 Chrysler 200C. I am very disappointed in the dealerships that I have been dealing to try to determine what is wrong with the car. There are times that the car will not start. I have to sit and wait where ever I am at for about 20 mins before the car will start back up again. Tell me why those who are trained in working on Chrysler have no clue as to what is wrong with the car. I was without a car for 2 weeks, with no accommodations from the dealership. Very poor service. I can’t seem to get anywhere. My first and last Chrysler…..
I have a 2015 Chrysler 200s with the exact the same exact issue, I was stranded all night trying to get my car to cut back on. Vehicle keeps reading “Key Fob not detected” I tried all the tricks you could think of! I’ve went to the dealership got my key fob battery replaced, even got the diagnosis test completed still no luck. Dealership (Sneathkamp in Highland Park, MI) was VERY rude and unkind telling me that my sensor on my tire is the reason for the car not to crank. Now I’m no car genius but I do know that that’s not the problem. They continue to give me the run around, taking my money with the problem not being fixed! I am very frustrated because I have missed work and my child had to miss school due to this issue. NOT FAIR NEVER BUYING ANOTHER CHRYSLER VEHICLE!!
I have a 2016 Chrysler 200 my transmission jerks when I put it in gear and when it’s changing gears while driving is that common for the 2016 200s
The WORST experience and excuses ever!!! I have a 2013 Chrysler 200. I have been working on getting a part to put my front bumper back on for 7 weeks now. They lost their manufacture and didn’t tell anyone. NO ONE can get the part and when you try through Chrysler they give you the run around, tell me it’s my fault for needing to have it replaced and that I have to wait. They can’t give an ETA and I can’t get my car back without the front bumper so I’ve been out a car almost 2 months. They take NO ownership for not having the part available and my case # and case manager mean nothing in getting help or service. I’ve talked to all levels of customer service, including a manager and “sorry” is the only thing they say. I will NEVER buy another one not knowing if you can even get parts for a current year model.
I am having the same problem! I thought I was getting somewhere when given a case number. I tried to purchase a locking gas cap and it doesn’t work. I went back to the dealership and asked the parts man to show me hwo it works, assuming (not really) that I was not working it properly. The parts guy tried 3 caps, NONE worked. I called another dealership & the parts lady could not get the key out in the “locked ” position. By the way, in the “locked” position, the cap is NOT locked and can easily be removed. When I called Dodge, I gave them the part number and told them 5 didn’t work. Two weeks later, the case person, Chris, called to tell me he found the part I needed & proceeded to tell me the exact same part number I’d called to tell them didn’t work. Then later he callled back and LIED to me. WORTHLESS.
PLEASE ! After all My Years of wanting a convertible I found a beautiful used 2008 Sebring Touring Convertible.. I paid a lot even though it has only 65 thousand miles. Its very clean & I felt great in it. UNTIL what is happening when I drive! I am so very beyond upset ! I will sue if I die in this car. Just driving at a slow speed on the road The Car speeds up Super High & I have to turn it off, put emergency brake on, press the brakes very hard & I shake uncontrolably.. If anyone is in front of Me I would hit them. This can happen at any time anywhere. Even backing out. There is No way I can drive this car knowing I could die or wind up killing someone else. I need an answer ! This is not acceptable.. Hope to hear something from you
I have a 2001Dodge grand caravan.
Sorry you have issues. I am 58 years old
And I and my son have beat the heck out of
The vans 3.3 V6 with the A604 4 speed automatic.
So sad that Chrysler forgot all of Marks dyno testing
Of this combo. You maybe can only get a 3.8 V6
Of this engine family in a jeep.
The 3.3 was a Carrol Shelby skunkwork test engine.
So successful they made 5 million engines.
My 3.3 has seen 5500rpm and still running.
The A604 transmission just has issues with servicing the fluid and filter every 25,000 miles and then a quick reflash of the ECU and CRY which a reputable dealer should include.
My caravan was abused by my son and his friends
On West Texas back roads. It is a very safe strong vehicle.
Maybe they will resurrect the Plymouth Prowler roadsters that had this engine. And call it the
Predator?
Find a Chrysler van without the silly six speed overdrive. Too many issues with too many
Forward gears.
Hello, I would like to talk with someone that has some authority to do something… I talked to a individual named Charlie at Central Florida Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Orlando Florida. This guy has to be the worst individual that I have ever spoke with at any dealership. I’ve bought vehicles from a gentleman for over 10 years. And in the Market for a new Ram truck. The dealership that I buy from didn’t have what I was looking for, so I started looking online and found one that I wanted. So I contacted the dealership to see if it was steal available and it was . So the guy asked for a little information that I gave him, but didn’t like the deal he was offering so I call my guy back told him I found one at this Dealership and work me up a deal on truck. Well when he called to try and do a dealer trade he told my guy that I was buying from him and he would not do a dealer trade. Well I sold vehicles for awhile and this is a common thing dealerships do. But this idiot would not trade come hell or high water. I would never have a individual like that work for me. When I spoke with him if I wanted what he had I’d have to get it from him. I called BS and told him that I would be talking with someone a Corporate, I’m sure they would not approve of this kind of business. I’m hoping that someone has the balls to confront and talk with this person. The Gentleman I deal with is working hard to find me this truck somewhere else. I hope Chrysler Corporation deals with people like this IT IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS.
I purchased a vehicle in November of 2016 at Honda of Nanuet, in Nanuet NY. The vehicle was a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. After a long process of getting this Vehicle. MY money was taken and the car was mine. Leaving the lot of the dealership the car had a nail stuck in the tire which dealer said would take about a week to receive. a month later while driving on a very busy, dangerous bridge the engine of the vehicle cuts out and i get stuck on the bridge . for about 3 month the car was being worked on. They sent the car to a Chrysler dealership who replaced the engine . Now months later the car started shaking and check engine light is back on. I took the car back to the dealership knowing i have a warranty on the engine where they are now giving me the run around..
I have a statement from FCA admitting the seats are design to yield (break) However the truth is they are using unsafe seats to due to the expense I
I have several views o
Time to buy a KIA. Never again Jeep or Chrysler product. To think I grew up in a Chrysler family and all we ever bought were American made vehicles by Chrysler. Never again. I will NEVER BUY here again.
A “no so funny” thing happened on my way to CA. At 53,000 miles my 2015 Ram EcoDiesel decided to throw a rod, knocked a hole in the block. Easy to see this was a warranty issue. I waited around for a week to get it fixed. Chrysler had the engine tore down and pictures taken with no concern for me, the owner. Finally after 6 weeks they authorized a new engine. Another 2weeks for it to arrive and get the parts changed out from the broken engine. Thanks, Chrysler, hold your breath until I buy another Chrysler product.
Why does my 2001 PT Cruiser (2.4l, 16v, non-turbo, 150hp) get less mpg (20 on a a good day) than my 1987 Plymouth Horizon (2.2l HO Shelby, 8v, non-turbo, 110hp), (35+)?
TO PREVENT USING A JIMMY BAR TO OPEN ALOCKED CAR DOOR, WHY DONOT YOU INSTALL IN THE DOOR SONETHING LIKE THE “GARGE SHIELD” TO PREVEN THE JIMMY BAR GANEING ACESSTO THE DOOR LOCK MECHANISM?????????
I am a very disappointed customer. Purchased my son’s vehicle in 2016 of January. My son’s truck had less than 5K miles when the transmission was replaced. The truck is 1.5 years old and it’s having the same issues. The truck only has 18K miles on it now. I am livid that the Dodge dealerships has told us that there is nothing they can do about it. We have test drove same models and doesn’t seem to have the issue. My son is now at the dealership in Tomball Texas, for issue with transmission jerking, leaking window on driver side and back camera not working.
The customer service is crappy at this dealership. My son is 21 years and they treat him like he’s nobody when he goes into the dealership with a complaint, and then I have to take off of work and go there myself. He has an appointment this Thursday, because he can’t be without his vehicle, they don’t care to give him a loaner vehicle until the issues are fixed.
I want the vehicle replaced. This truck rarely is on the road, as you can see for the mileage and I am livid to pay almost 50k for this vehicle and only has issues and no customer service.
I need to hear from someone as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
an upset customer
I understand you I am having the same problem I can’t understand is why the make junk for cars you can best believe everyone I see with there products I will let them know they are driving junk the owner is an 80million dollar CEO you should own up to your product I am a single parent of 6 and a low income job I was told by the headquarters because the warranty is out only 489 miles they can help me I am not understanding why you want help
You need to file a lemon law claim they’ve denied to fix the issues or to resolve the complaint with you. It’s a long process but it’s worth it because this is a known issue with Chrysler’s vehicles keep all your records and make sure they put your complaint on the work order this will ensure that you have a problem and they are aware of it. Ask for a buyback or replacement before you do the lemon claim I forgot to mention that and they will say no and recommend arbitration at this point file a lawsuit arbitration is in favor of the manufacturer not you the consumer. Most of all good luck!!!!
I own a 2005 Chrysler 300 touring I have taken it back to the deal four times because it stops own me when ever I make a right turn or left turn. It has even stopped own me in the middle of turning own the highway an had to put it park to start it. Right now it is back at the dealership trying to get the problem corrected. Right now I am looking at a bill for 695.00 which a bunch of junk. Right now I have a bad taste about Chrysler when I called the hot line I was told not enough people complained about this problem an there is nothing could be done. Get a grip an help your customers.
Wow they said the same thing to me. Not enough people called about a faulty oil pressure sensor for Chrysler vehicles even though there’s hundreds of forums and videos on how to replace it. Some people got lucky cuz it was still under warranty but for those whose not like me have to Fork out $500 to get it replaced. I think I’m going to trade in my Jeep for a Toyota. I’ve never had problems with Toyota’s or Hondas
I just purchased a 2017 Ram 2500 6.7l diesel and with only 600 miles on the vehicle the engine light came on with a #2 and #3 cylinder misfire. With many trips back and forth to Hendricks of Cary dealer, it is in its 4th fix with no success in resolution. I asked for the truck to be replaced, since it was clearly a lemon from the get go with also, no success. I also stated to the service manager that we noticed a burning smell when driving while engine light was illuminated, this again was not addressed. My family and I are very uneasy driving this truck and concerned about our and our children’s safety. I have had 4 different ” senior advisors” at Chrysler over last 3 months in which none will return phone calls or emails. Thanx Dodge, you took my $46,000 and in turn gave my uncertainty and heartache !
Did they ever fix this? We have a dodge 3500 2015 and it’s terrible..
I bought a brand new Jeep Renegade. I tried to register the car in California but I couldn’t because the manufacturer made an error on my VIN. I called and a representative opened a case for me. She said I would hear back within two days. It’s been more than two weeks; I’m still waiting for a call. Every time I called the 1877 number they said that somebody would call me back. If I talked to a supervisor, that would delay my case. It’s very frustrating. It seems like nobody wants to help me resolve my issue. I bought a brand new car. This should not have happened. I hope a case manager will call me after this post. Thanks.
I am having the exact same issue. They opened a case sent out an investigator and now nothing and none of the advisors can deal with your case and they can’t transfer you just tell you to wait for a call
back. I’m so frustrated mine is a recall issue and it’s been two weeks since it broke and I’ve heard nothing and am no closer to a fix.
Jeep is awful!!! I will never purchase another jeep for the rest of my life. I have a 2015 Cherokee and the breaks have gone out on me 4 times, even on the highway with my children in the car. I have 11 pages worth of work they have had to do on my car under the warranty that continue to reoccur over and over and now I have spoken with someone for the corporate office here in Colorado and she claimed she was going to do what she needed to to make things right and now she backed out of what she was going to do to help me and I’m forced to stay in this car that is unsafe for myself and my children to drive in. I have spent 8-9 hours! at the dealerships these past few days trying to get this all figured out because this is technically a lemon law car and no one seems to care at all to help. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!
Can someone please contact me about your delivery schedule. Your computer crash problem has cost me thousands. I’m still awaiting delivery of a truck that no nobody can find. Thank you. It doesn’t take that long to move a truck from Utah to Idaho!
I’ve tried two different locations to have an issue taken care of with my 2011 Dodge Charger and to no avail. I keep getting the run around. One location continues to have me keep coming back to them, which is very hard for me because I work, like most people in this comment section, it’s hard to keep taken off from work just to keep bringing my car back to the shop. Most places have really bad customer service. It’s so sad that us hard working people have to keep dealing with, at most times, the same issue that they just can’t seem to know what the problem is. I’m going to try and call to make a complaint, let’s see how far that will go.
I own a Chrysler 200 that I purchased new back in December 2016.
I paid alot of money for this car and there is no cd player or satellite radio.
Also I would like to add that I was never informed that my Chrysler 200 has been
discontinued. I purchased many cars before but I never experienced no cd player or
satellite radio. This should of been brought to my attention when purchasing this car.
I am very unhappy and I paid alot of money for nothing. What ashame to just throw
good money out the window.
I have a 200 – 2015. Love the car.. great value.. it is a shame it was discontinued.. all cars come with a window sticker..tells of standard and optional equipment.. A great value for the dollar.. Would like to know the age of the buyer.. and to know a number of what cars she thinks is a many.. have a great day..
That’s irrelevant you idiot
The dealer deceived me and lied to me. I bought my car October 26,2018. Never told me it was discontinued. Or I never would have bought the car. The salesman got fired due to laws about losing to me and deceiving me. They admit there fault but won’t due any about this death trap. No interior lights, transmission clunks, and the worst the emergency brake in gauges and my car literally screeches to come to a stop. Sliding and out of control. I moved to where it snows and I leave for work at 4:30 am and black ice is the normal thing here. One day this vehicle is going to get me killed. But it’s the only vehicle i own. Can’t afford to come up with $8000 to get out from under this death trap, as I’m upside down in a worthless car. It’s all on Chrysler to do something for us consumers. I would hire an attorney but I live paycheck to paycheck.
You are kidding right. You got in a car, drove it and did not notice what radio was in it. You signed a contract that listed the options that you were buying and you never noticed. You earned your disaticfaction.
I had bought a left over 2011 Chry 300 Limited just as the 2012 models were coming out. The car is loaded with navigation, Tri pearl white upgrade paint, chrome wheels etc. The dealer added pin striping into the sale. I added chrome trim to trunk, rocker moldings, bottom of all doors, washer covers on hood, extra side “Limited Badging” and even bought extra “300 numbers” and put them on the front cowl and then added stripe down each side of the hood and across the trunk. Then added lighted Chrysler alum front door sills and had purchased the Glass Coat to painted surfaces.
This car is the best car I have ever owned and I continue to get comments about how pretty the car is every where I go. The Glass Coating always has the car looking fresh, even when it’s ready for a wash
Most people think the car is a brand new model. The young heads are always telling me “Sweet Ride”
This is my third Chry 300 and the car is a pleasure to drive and with the added cold air intake in runs a 1/4 mile in the 15.6 second range
I’m a first time Dodge Ram owner and first vehicle I’ve ever had to finance. I have spoke with Dodge headquarters multiple times and still no results. From May 12th through May 19th dodge was in possession of my vehicle for fixtures but denied any warranty. First time dodge owner I really thought i had anythinh to worry about. So I thought. I picked my truck up after Dodge having for a week, denied any warranty had to pay $200 And still no fixed truck. After few days of research, turns out my vehicle still has a factory warranty. Spoke with Dodge on issues and they admitted they were wrong and that they had missed that. What? You mean Dodge missed their own factory warranry? Now I’ve not yet been reimbursed on any of lost wages, one of their dodge employees went threw my personal belongings inside if my truck while it was at dodge and took a hat of mine.ive lost job opportunities with lost wages of all kinds still losing as I continue. I recently had to put my two weeks in at my government job because a non safe vehicle that is not fixed for no transportation. Ice have completed everything that was asked of me to complete. It’s almost been a month and Dodge continues to give me the run around on a daily basis. I’m just an average jobless, with a first baby on the way man trying to make it. I have so many lost wages due to Dodge it’s broken me down not just physically but mentally. I believe what’s right is right and what’s fair is fair. Could someone please answer what I need to do or who I need to speak with? I’ve never felt so cheated, manipulated, scammed, or lied to as bad as I do now because of Dodge. I’m looking for answers. What do I do?
put this all on line. yelp.face.lol. dodge will love the publicity . thier
service managers don’t seem to care.
File a lemon lawsuit!! A lawyer will take the claim for free explain to them what you’ve stated here and I’m sure they will take your case you don’t pay unless you win and the manufacturer has to pay all legal fees it’s worth a shot good luck
I’m stuck in Rome with a fiat Ducato camper tha needs a new ecu. Would you believe that in the country where Fiat was born they can’t source one and it looks like I will have to abandon the vehicle here and fly back home to Spain and find one myself. The service from Fiat sucks !
After shopping around at several dealerships in my district, I realized that your sales agent, Wendy Yost, at Chrysler dealership in Kissimmee, FL 34744, is a wonderful asset to your team. I am extremely satisfied with my vehicle purchase and very impressed with her professional expertise, presentation and friendliness. Please let her know how much I and my family appreciate her! She is a keeper. I will definitely return when it’s time for me to trade up, but only if she handles the sale. Kudos to your company for hiring the finest employees.
I have purchased several cars from the Chrysler dealership in Sumter,SC however I am very unhappy with my most recent purchase of a 2013 Dodge Durango. We have had several major problems with this vehicle. It makes a difference when you are provided with excellent customer service. We have been getting the run around. The truck has been towed back to the dealership several times and I’ve only had it since November 2016! We have spoken with the Chrysler Corporation as well as the General Manager there but no satisfaction with this lastest issue.
But a brand-new 2017 ram 2500 6.7 Cummins on January 3 from day one it sounded like marbles in the top of the engine and had loud ticking noises coming from the back of the engine and a knock in the front at 10,000 miles finally found a dealer if you take it to her three times it would adjust the valves that’s quite a damp and now the ticking is super loud and it’s knocking in the for the engine extremely disappointed it’s been to a dealer about 10 times now this year has not been resolved they’re telling me it’s normal it will not look into it any further into it throws a code very disappointed in a brand-new $ 55,000 truck the only reason I went with the ram diesel is because it supposed to have the best diesel engine made, Chrysler hope you can resolve this issue!
I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangle sport, paid somewhere around 34,000 dollars and it has been 4 times in the Dupage, Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Glendale heights IL, 4 times since I have bought it due to leaking.
Just so everyone knows I have wanted a jeep my whole life since I was a kid but they were out of reach.
I am very disappointed because I pictured me taking the tops off and having fun, but I am afraid to take anything off.
Every time, it rains it has puddles in my weather tech mats my Jeep dealer told me they have been having trouble with the model years 2015-2016 leaking! so I called Chrysler, corporation they set me up with a women named Amanda, who said they will set up a star service, what ever that means, I guess a engineer, is going to help the Jeep dealers so called best man with seals who has not been able to fix it, he even sent it to a body shop, to have the doors adjusted and new seals put on again.
Well it is Friday 05/05/17 and today I have to drop it off again lets see what happens if this time I see any water when done I think I will be sharing what has happened to me with every social media group.
I feel a need to share with the world.
My son had the same problem with his 2014 Wrangler? We brought it to the dealer several times to remedy the leaking t-top. They claimed they fixed everything, every heasy rain the same thing. Called corporate several times they just danced around the problem. I asked to approve a new top, no go. So traded the vehicle.
NEVER BUY A DODGE!!
I Advise no one to buy a dodge! My husband join the Navy right out of high school an was always stationed over seas and never really need a car since he was always out to sea months at a time. When he retired from the Navy he was so excited to be buying his first real car. He looked at this car for months before we made the 4 hour drive to Miami. My husbands Dodge Charger is under the 1000,00 mile warranty but 2 months out of the engine warranty and they refuse to fix it. When this all first stared the warranty was not out but no one could find the problem even after trying to get a complete diagnostic. Because the engine light was not on at the time of the diagnostic it could not be done. It wasn’t until the car completely broke down that it was discovered the problem was the motor. The dealership (Firkins) offered to take 10% of $6000 off. Under the warranty Dodge would have covered all parts and labor, towing and rental car. Dodge has a program called the Good Will program to help customers with issues like this but I guess for whatever reason they told us they weren’t able to help. When we first called Dodge customer care service, which is their corporate office, the gentlemen told us they would help because dodge has programs for situations like this, and due to the warranty only being 2 months out and under 1000,00 miles it wouldn’t be a problem, and all we needed to do was take it to a Dodge dealership to be certain of the problem and then call back. A motor should not give out this soon. He has also had other problems with his 2012 dodge charger. Like the gas never last, the door alarm went out, several fuses have had to be replaced, breaks, rotors and several other problems. I also have a 2012 Dodge Journey I purchased new and its been repaired also. My starter went out. The radio gets stuck on a station so I have to turn my car off, open the door so that the car shuts completely down, then start the car up again. The Bluetooth phone connects and disconnects whenever it wants, sometimes I can’t get it to connect at all and sometimes it’s to much noise in the speakers so I can’t use it at all. The mirror on the inside to look in the back seat without having to turn around broke. I don’t have small children so I never needed it. I opened it one day and it broke. My heat in the Journey isn’t working now either. My breaks had to be replaced several times and rotors along with several other problems.. Dodge should be ashamed.
John
I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 with 55,000 miles. I need a new fuel pump and a new master cylinder. And I need four(4) computer updates that I must pay for. Neither of these items should be bad with only 55,000 miles. This tells me that it is a very poorly engineered vehicle.
Since I have been told that all American products will be the same way, I have no alternative but to go shopping for Toyota or Nissan product. They take care of their customers from all that I have seen.
You don’t need a computer in a car to get good gas mileage. That can be done with gear ratios.
I want to buy American, but enough is enough.
The Chrysler help line is so poorly managed that I will never call them back. And I will discourage anyone from buying a Chrysler product.
Love to add a pic my moms jeep hit 200000 miles today she just retired from conaga foods after 39years bought jeep grand Cherokee when only had 10000 miles on it now 200000 says she hopes for many more miles this was her last jeep she would be able to afford of buy hopefully I can fulfill her dream of a new jeep someday
Congratulations on having that many miles, a Jeep will run forever it seems. I have a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with 433,000+ miles on it! It is a “straight 6” 4.0L with the original motor/transmission, and still runs pretty smooth for its age and the beating I’ve put it through all these years. It is the travel vehicle on most all family trips at least 4 times a year. I LOVE IT! Naturally nearly every other part on the Jeep has gone out and been replaced, many times, EXCEPT the motor/transmission. The most recent repair was the transfer case replacement, while on vacation in another state. It’s the 2nd transfer case that I’ve replaced since I bought it used in 1999. Thank you Chrysler for building the straight six and I’m looking to purchase another Jeep with the 4.0 engine, when this one finally dies. But I’m hoping to get at least 500k miles before it becomes scrap. It is truly a “kick-ass” engine that will run forever!
I have a 2014 Ram 3500 that has a leak from the third brake light, which is a known problem. I went to two dealerships and both knew what the problem was immediately. I to knew due to doing two minutes of research. Water is coming into the cab and has stained the headliner and caused it to start delaminating on the drivers side. That is the least of my worries however. I now have mold growing in the carpet on the floorboards behind the front seats. I find this NEGLIGENT!!!!!! Chrysler know there is a problem and are fast to repair the light but not the mold problem. I will say I don’t know how long the problem has been there but as soon as I found it I took it to the dealer. My truck has 46000 miles on it but is only 2 1/2 years old from the manufacture date. I think it is reasonable to expect a $68000 truck to be able to be in rainy weather or be washed without having water come into the cab and cause damage. This is my primary vehicle and what I have to transport my 18 month old son in. I will not put him in it. I have taken the truck to a mold testing facility to see how harmful it is. I have also talked to mold removal companies and all have said if there is mold in the carpet the only way to rid the spores is to replace everything that is porous and use a fungicide to clean the vehicle with all that material out of it. I filed a claim with Chrysler, and they told me if I pay $200 they would replace the carpet, but nothing more. I asked what about the health concerns and they diddnt care. I even asked the claim adjuster if she would want her family riding in a car that had mold in it that was caused by a defective product, and what do know she said she wouldn’t. ME NEITHER!!!!!!!!! I told her that Chrysler needs to make this right and I have heard nothing back. Now I am stuck with a truck I can not sell and is worth essentially scarp metal prices. I have never been so disappointed in a company. Way to back your defective product. I will never buy a Chrysler product again and will now discourage anyone I know in the market from buying one also.
I have a 2016 Chrysler 200. Thats my first problem… The main issues is that my car keeps cutting off when it wants to. The 5th time, it caused a wreck. Chrysler denied the claim saying it was not the cars fault. I am now being charged $2500 for a LOANER car while Chrysler did their 2 MONTH investigation. I need some help with this one.
I purchased a 2017 billet silver Dodge Charger Scat Pack on January 18, 2017. First and foremost the cars actual performance is awesome and I love the car. Unfortunately, it has been in the shop 7 times. It is March 15, 2017 and the vehicle has less than 3,000 miles. I took it to Neuworth Motors in Wilmington Nc where the staff and service has always been fantastic and I can say nothing bad about them. The first 3 trips to the dealer were for the radio/navigation completely shutting down. I ended up having to have the entire system replaced.(less than 1000 miles) I then noticed a paint issue on my hood, caused by the metallic flake not spreading evenly which gives it a cloudy appearance (I paint vehicles) upon further inspection I lifted the hood only to find the underside of the hood corroding away (rust) and the clear coat chip off the sides of the hood. I contacted Corporate assistance in resolving the issue. Keep in mind with silver paint you will have to blend in any panel surrounding the hood (both quarters and front bumper). The only option I was given was for them to send me a new hood and have “their people” paint the hood. I paid close to 50k for this car and painting the entire front end isn’t an option. Not only is it not factory paint and won’t match but it will cause my value to depreciate, 5 to 10k for having the front end painted is how much value I lose. Why should I agree to repaint any part of this car if it hurts the value when it is Dodges factory issue? Again, it has less than 3,000 miles and is garage kept. I don’t feel it’s right for me to lose money based on an issue that got by quality control. I still have an open case with Dodge regarding this, hopefully we can come to a fair resolution in the very, very near future. I have been advised to seek legal counsel but, I shouldn’t have to go that route with this new of a car. Who knows, I will keep updating this reply until we agree on an outcome fair to Dodge and myself.
By the way, now I have to have my drivers seat bottom replaced due to loud squeaking… 0 for 3.
Hey please call me. I I am having the same issue with my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee that is not even 3 weeks old. Pretty much the whole passer side of my vehicle will have to be painted and the hood. 678.928.1319 I would love to talk with you. Tracey
I leased a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country. The airbag light constantly goes on and off. I had it repaired and they replaced the seat belt. That was in November, 2016 and now its happening again. I’m frustrated with the staff and the vehicle. I would like to get out of my lease (for no fee) and into a different car. I feel like this van is unsafe for all the passengers, as I have no idea if my airbags will deploy. This is unacceptable. I want a reliable product for my family. Safety First!!
My husband and I have purchased 5 vehicles from Fletcher Dodge in Jonesboro, Arkansas in the past. The last purchase we made was for a 2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude about a year ago. Something was leaking in the passenger’s side floorboard. I returned to Frank Fletcher Dodge in Jonesboro, Ar, the dealership at which I made the purchase, to have the problem fixed. After about 3 or 4 days they called and said they found the problem. A AC housing was replaced. After picking up the car, my husband drove it to my workplace so that I could have it back. Upon arriving, we checked the floorboard and it was soaked!!! Took the vehicle home that night and dried the carpet and padding, since the service department did not, just to make sure the water was not residual left. The next morning, drove it to work and carpet was soaked yet again!! Returned to Fletcher Dodge and was told that they didn’t know what else to do… A sales manager, Josh Brown, told me to take it to another dealer for a second opinion!!!!! Needless to say, I was very angry. After not being able to get any help, I contacted corporate office for help. Left my vehicle for service. After over 3 weeks, only the carpet was replaced with leak not being fixed. Picked up the Jeep, traded for a 2017 Ford Edge. There will never, never be another Chrysler product in my driveway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very disappointed in my 2012 Jeep, transmission went out at a year and half and then just recently has to replace airbag module and it was not covered under warranty. read up on airbag issue after they replaced, finding out there was a recall that I was never notified about and in reading this site there was no fix for this? I shouldn’t have had to pay out of pocket for a part that should not have went out unless it deployed. Chrysler has ruined a great product and I can tell you I will not purchase another Chrysler product and I have owned three Jeeps and this will be my last. I was told that the replacement module was not under warranty because it was only up to 36,000 and I did not purchase extended. This was a manufacturer issue and I should not have had to pay as the part should not have went out. Very angry and both dealerships that I took vehicle to treated this as a joke and actually laughed when discussing problems with Jeep. This is not a good thing. I feel Chrysler needs to reimburse for issues like these as it is a manufacturer part issue. Very Angry and Disappointed.
I have a Chrysler 200 since 2012 and I have some problems that I was told by customer service that they will take care of it but it will cost me 50.00. The problem I was told is not covered under warranty and I asked what is covered and Freehold Chrysler said they do not know until they put it in the computer. I was told to call customer service which I did and I was told today that the regional manager said that they will not repair my car unless I pay for the repairs. I called customer service on Jan. 12, 2017 and today is March 7, 2017. I think that all of Chrysler is nothing but a bull of BS. Thank you very much for informing me that you don’t cared about your customers. I will never buy another Chrysler car again.
Just recently had a heart thumping experience withe my 2011 Town and country vehicle. On Saturday, Feb 25th 2017, I was on my way home from the local pizzaria. Upon entering my subdivision I suddenly lost all power of the vehicle and coasted about 10 feet from the subdivision entrance. When it came to a complete stop I put it in park and tried to start it, but it but it was completly dead. I couldn’t even take out the key. Suddenly I smelled something burning and I knew I needed to exit asap. Unfortunetly when the vehicle shuts down, your doors are all locked and your trapped. Well all I could think of is the vehicle catching fire and me stuck in it. I started to kick the driver side window but it wouldn’t shatter. I then kicked the door when I got a call from my son inlaw wondering why I wasn’t home with the pizza. I told him of my emergency and he showed up 5 minutes later. He told me to pop the trunk lock so he could give it a boost with sole purpose of acctivating the locks so I could get out. Thank God it was successful. Any way it ended up to be the alternator. Allstate is going to cover the repair for the door minus the 500 deductable, but I also need a new alterator and computer, which was “fryed” according to the mechcanic.. Allstate will not cover the alterator or the computer. Told Tanya at
chrysler says I don’t have any warranty left . No more Chrylers for me!
I bought 2017 Ram 3500 crewcab longbox dually. Bad axle rearend and in the shop still with less than 1000 miles. They told me to drive it till they received the patrs. Fist fix attempt no luck, still noize and the rear end was full of metal shavings. They shoved rags through it to clean them out. Not happy with the service or the fact they still cant figure out the problem. I bought a new truck not a rebuilt one, especially rebuilt with obvious metal shavings still in the rear end. Come on Chrystler step up to the plate and make this right!
We purchased a new Dodge Caravan in June last year. It has been nothing but a pain in the button since we got it. The engine light keeps going on and stays on.
I am the owner of a 2009 Chrysler Aspen that has a recall on the air bags. The drivers side has a fix but the passenger side does not. We have been told several this 1. just don’t sit in the passenger seat. 2. unhook the air bag. SERIOULSY??? So I owe 10,000 on a car that you want me to loose a seat and has the potential to KILL myself, my husband and our kids, even sitting in the back seat. Even if we turned it off, isn’t it a LAW now that these vehicles be equipped with air bags??? I can not TRADE this vehicle cause it can not be resold for obvious reasons. I am sorry but this is HORRIBLE of Chrysler. This vehicle should be bought back from YOU and I should be compensated for having to purchase a new vehicle. I am sure that paying the 10,000 off is going to be a whole lot cheaper than the LAWSUIT when/and if my FAMILY is injured because of your negligence!! A code giving me a discount is not the answer when there isn’t a dealership that will offer any type of compensation for the trade (obvious reasons again) so your damn code better be more than 10,000 off a new car to satisfy me!!! Let the word spread CHRYSLER SUCKS!!!
U know like I’ve been had, I just traded in a jeep patriot 2017 for a 2017dodge journey which had no bluetooth, no fog lights. I was caught up in getting something that electronicoe ntrols, I wasn’t thinking. I was at the dealership today an saw a 2017 journey with bluetooth connection and fog lights. I would lik to stay with the chrysler products I think I will try a new dearlership
WOW. You all at Chrysler should be ashamed. Look at these comments. I’m having problems with a 2016 Town&Country I bought in Oct. 2016 as used. Still, this is basically a new car. The transmission has failed FOUR TIMES. It’s been “repaired” three times. Now, at time No. 4, I’m sitting here trying to figure out how to get a new car under the MA Lemon Law. The dealership wants to fix it again, but I’m really done with this car. We could have had SERIOUS ACCIDENTS. It’s only by the grace of God that we didn’t. The only reason I’m stuck with Chrysler/Dodge is that they’re the only ones who make mini vans with Stow’n’Go seating. We often use the van as a cargo van. Lord, I wish Toyota would start making these.
CHRYSLER – SHAME ON YOU.
Wow. I’m having trouble with my 2016 Chrysler Town&Country too. I have been to every Chrysler dealership in Memphis, the van won’t pull a hill, nobody seems able to find what the problem is. Someone help me please!!!!
I have a Jeep Wrangler 2011. My Jeep basically just died on me in front of Harold Zeigler Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealer and I need a new transmission. 59000 miles in new transmission already. Even the gentleman at the counter of the Dodge dealership agrees that jeep products should not go out that soon but that is the luck of the draw I’m told. I no longer have a warranty on it and the cost of a new transmission is extremely high. I’ve checked with many transmission shops in the area and they have all told me that in today’s market 59000 miles on a Jeep and the transmission should not be going out. Even the Jeep guys tell me that at the dealership. I don’t know what type of resolution I’m looking from Jeep or Chrysler but my transmission in my vehicle has to be a bad unit. For this to happen if such low mileage for a vehicle that does nothing but go on the highway and is not even driven on a dirt road after 5 years this should not happen. I would love to speak to somebody about this because I just got off the customer service line and was just basically told luck of the draw. I’m sorry but I know one customer 4 G per Chrysler to lose is not a big deal, but for me being in my third Jeep or Dodge vehicle and never having issues before with any of my vehicles this just is not seem right. You guys losing one customer will not hurt you at all. I would love to be able to speak with somebody about this thank you
You’ll have better luck with a straight 6, 4.0L Jeep than any of the newer models. I think the last year the 4.0 was built was 2006. I have a 1995 Jeep still running great today, but looking at purchasing another used 4.0L Jeep (2006 or earlier) when mine finally dies of old age!
Frustration is an understatement for the way that I feel at this time!!!! I went to a Chrysler dealership, upon pre-approval from Chrysler financial, to pick out a Chrysler 300. I already have a 2006 that I absolutely love but, wanted to upgrade the model of the car. I got put into a nice 2013 Chrysler 300 Motown edition. I drove away feeling that I had gotten a great deal. The next morning, I receive a call saying that they need me to leave work immediately and come to the dealership to return the car because the sheriff was looking for it. It was not supposed to be sold because the person that traded it in did not get approved for his initial loan. They said that they could put me in another one for an additional 300 dollars a month payment to remedy the situation. I walked away from there feeling that they had just hustled me for down payment money. There was no offer of helping out my situation, no offer of them giving me any other solace other than to put me in a new car that I did not want and give me a payment that I could not afford. That was the only options offered to me. I am disgusted with the dealership and everyone involved because of what they did to me.
My name is Bobbi B.
I have a dodge durango 2007. I have a problem with it, in that it stops when I am in the middle of driving it. I can be anywhere, driving slow, driving fast it doesn’t matter. I recently took it to Warren Michigan, and it stopped on me 7 times. This is very dangerous, and I have tried to have it fixed by several mechanics, the mechanics said that they did not have the proper diagnostics tool to handle my SUV. This is why, I recently took it to a dodge dealer, and they replaced the module powertrain control, they performed a fuel injection service, cleaned out the throttle body and upper combustion chamber all this to the tune of $1,281.71. The problem is that it is still doing the same thing, and I have made another appointment to have it checked again this coming week. I have been busy on the internet, and it seems that this is happening to all of the “07 durango owners, and they maintain that this SUV cannot be fixed. If this turns out to be true then there is surely a design flaw in this vehicle, ans I am wondering why this model itself wasn’t recalled? I normally do not go on-line to complain, but this time it is different and I just want to fill safe in my own SUV,
I am having serious problems with a 2016 Town&Country. It sounds like what we’re experiencing. It’s the transmission. The dealership has repaired it three times, and it has failed four times. Just yesterday we were on the highway and couldn’t get the van to go over 40 mph, and the transmission was wheezing the entire time. Incredibly unsafe. See if your state has any Lemon Laws. MA does, and I’m looking into how I can get a new car or a refund.
I have a 2006 Durango that is doing the same thing. It has been doing it for the last 5 years but only did it occasionally until recently. Now it Jumps real hard and cuts off while driving it. I took it to my dealership and they couldn’t figure it out. I agree with you that this is some kind of flaw and should be recalled. My 16 year old son drove this vehicle and has already had one accident due to it stalling while in the middle of a turn. Thank God he wasn’t hurt.
I own a 2004 Dodge Durango, I adored my car, until it rained !!!! NOBOY at Crysler did anything at all to help all the other poor people this has happened to !! the cowling is very very bad an leaks water into the part of the engine and like others mine day before yesterday threw and rod and destroyed my entire engine!!! all anyone had to do was NEVER to have installed this faulty part or at the very least fessed up and re called the darn part before this happens!!! no I am a retired disabled widow without the means to replace the engine or able to buy a new car !!! my only means of transportation GONE because of this dealer decided not to fix this issue…….. I have my entire life been a dodge girl what a shame . Somebody from dodge want to send a driver for me to my next surgery appointment or doctors appoint, how about a ride to the grocery store so I can purchase food !! again SHAME ON YOU ! all you had to do was tell people like me about the COWLING you used to avoid this damage !!!
Let me just start by saying: IM DISGUSTED!
Purchased a BRAND NEW 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan- it has 2042 miles on it- and my brake system is broken. I need a new caliper, brakes and rotors and brake hose. Please, tell me how this is even possible? Bosak dodge is the absolute worst dealership to do business with. The service manager is an asshole. My husband and I brought on van in because there was a STRONG BURNING smell. We assumed it was probably ELECTRICAL- the dealer only looked at the ENGINE and nothing else. Said they could not smell this ?burning smell and that I was just smelling things that were not there. WE took vehicle to the dealership I work for and they did a diagnostic on my vehicle and it took them 20 minutes to tell me my vehicle was unsafe and have a major brake issue. I call the dealership back and explain what was found and the manager said I was insane there was no way that is what is wrong with my vehicle. Bring the POS back to Bosak and they find out after having it for a day that is indeed the problem. I ask how in the hell did they not catch this- they said they only checked engine and that they did not look at the entire vehicle because they claim we said it was ELECTRICAL- my husband and I are not mechanics- how the f*ck could be possibly know what the issue was? He then proceeded to tell me that they only look at what the customer says they think the issue is. So, instead of doing a MULTI POINT INSPECTION on my entire vehicle they let me and my husband and my CHILD leave in a unsafe car. I AM DISGUSTED WITH THIS PLACE, MY VEHICLE AND I WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER DAMN DODGE/MOPAR PRODUCT. ONE AND DONE!
The basic warranty is good for the first year or 12K miles. Read your owners manual and make them fix it!
Bob Caldwell in Columbus, Oh the worst customer service i have ever experienced .The way they handled us as soon as we purchased the vehicles ! they just washed their hands with us, totally disregarded any concerns we brought to them. Very VERY VERY disrespectful and i would never tell anybody to ever Purchase a vehicle from that place. you would think after buying not 1 but 2 vehicles at the same time that they would atleast want to help us out in any way ! I have never been so mad in my life and disappointed, but this is a lesson learned and it wont happen again ! our next purchase will not be from anything jeep, chrysler, dodge related what so ever
The disrespectful attitude seems to be a common thing among Chrysler dealerships!! I have never been talked to like I was at Fletcher Dodge dealership in Jonesboro, AR. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I purchased a 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 Jan 3, 2016 It was brand new only had 79 miles on it. I paid $65,000.00. The transmission does not shift correctly. We took it on vacation and had multiple issues with the transmission and even loud clunking noises in the rear end. Heading home we were pulling our camper and as we were getting onto the interstate the truck shut down! My husband was literally standing on the gas pedal and the truck was barely moving it was a very scary time to say the least. From that point until we made it home the truck used an entire tank of DEF fluid and went through a full tank of gas. As of today it has now been in the shop 3 times for the same issue that we keep being told that since there is no code they can’t fix it! The first time we were told they did a flash and that should fix the problem NOT! My husband is disabled and I need this vehicle to drive him back and forth to the Dr. We don’t feel safe driving the truck. I have been in contact with Chrysler care center they tell me take it to the shop call them when I do well that is all fine and good but the dealership can’t fix or even find the problem. I have asked about a buy back, but have not gotten any response
Julie, it’s time to contact a GOOD LEMON LAW ATTORNEY AND SUE UNDER THE FOLLOWNG ACT:
The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, the federal lemon law, regulates warranties on consumer products that do not perform as expected after purchase. The federal lemon applies to implied warranties, written (or express) warranties and service contracts. The statute is intended to protect consumers from deceptive warranty practices, ensuring that warranties when provided by a seller are more easily understood by the buyer and enforceable should a breach of warranty occur. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act is often referred to as the federal lemon law though each state has its own law regarding defective consumer products including vehicles.
A full warranty must fulfill certain specific requirements and in the event of a defect, malfunction, or if the product fails to conform to the written warranty, the warrantor can attempt to fix the product at no cost to the consumer and within a reasonable time period. A full warranty cannot restrict the duration of any implied warranty on the product and in the event of an issue that cannot be fixed or repair after numerous attempts; the consumer must be able to choose either a replacement or refund at no charge. If the damage associated with a warranted consumer product can be proven by the warrantor to have been caused by damage once the product had left the place of purchase or by unreasonable use, the warrantor’s responsibilities under the Act are waived.
I am disgusted with brose in Corinth ms they have had my 2014 Dodge Avenger fir a week no word on it what so ever. Go in there yesterday he says it’s the motor but they are exiting on Chrysler to email them back. I have only had this car one month!!!!! Very dissatisfied and think it’s a shame they can’t get something fixed when your waiting on your vehicle!!!!!!!!
Purchased a 2016 Overland on October 3. Today is December 29 and the car was already 3 times in the service department for the transmission. You pay over $50,000 and this is what you get. The dealership management was horrible, no one was helpful and everyone was pushing us around. Little do they know my attorney is filing a Lemon Law claim because this is not right. I do not feel safe in my brand new car that has less them 1,000 miles on it.
Westbury Jeep new york disgraceful customer service and repair completelly dishonest with repair manager who actually mocks female customers. Go elsewhere!
Does anyone have a Dodge Nitro? I have a 2007 with 105k miles. I suddenly lost my signal lights and headlights. The dealership in Va. Beach, Va. Is telling me that I need to replace the instruments cluster for around $900. I was told those components don’t have fuses, but the corporate service advisor says there are fuses for those components that need to be checked first. Please someone, advise me!!
I have had an ongoing issue with my 2015 Wrangler JKU Rubicon since 9/26 and still have no resolution. We have complied with everything the dealer and corporate has requested but here we are 3 months later and still have a defective/malfunctioning and unsafe vehicle. My Jeep has been continuously stalling with no warning. It has been in two different dealerships for the last three months and no one can duplicate the issue. We recently picked up our Jeep Friday, 12/23 and since then it has stalled 3 times. We have been into dangerous situations when I’m driving in highway speeds and driving this vehicle is truly unsafe. I have had zero resolutions and now I am being told to return it again to the same dealership who had it before. Case 30446082 / Angel. We have only heard from our case manager twice since this has been escalated and we are being told the same thing for the last three months. We have continuously paid for this Jeep even though we have not been driving it. We have been made fun of at the dealerships since they can’t duplicate the issue. Finally my husband and I decided to videotape the incidents which we shouldn’t have to. As a consumer we should be given the respect and the benefit of having to drive a safe vehicle. Rather we are being given anxiety, stress and a huge concern for our lives whenever we are driving this vehicle. No one should feel unsafe and if a corporation can just tell you to continue driving a defective vehicle until it happens again then there is an issue. There is an issue if the manufacturer themselves are unable to solve and find the root of the problem with their own vehicle. This vehicle is a huge lemon and now we regret ever buying a Jeep brand. A brand that is supposedly dependable off and on the road no matter what.
I have experienced exact same issue with my Jeep. I couldn’t believe when I read your post. The Case Managers are rude, change their statements all the time and clearly come across as if they don’t care what customers go through.
Yes they do. My case manager Kelsey said they will cover my Rental car until they fix my Chrysler 2015- which is under warranty and now she says they wont cover it. They change their statements all the time and their dealership is horrible. I was going to upgrade my vehicle to Wrangler but noooooooooo– not gonna do that.. My husband has car from Chevy and their service is amazing- will get any car from them.
ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PUT YOUR CELL PHONE ON THE TABLE AND SAY YOU ARE RECORDING THE CONVERSATION……………ALWAYS RECORD
Wow!!! Same thing just happened to me. My 2004 Dodge Durango started itself on fire and is totaled. The customer service rep Paula, told me they would cover a rental car while this is being investigated. It is currently supposed to be being inspected. Which from my understanding can take 2 to 4 weeks. Maybe longer. I called today to find out how I put go about getting my rental and they have no information regarding this and stated Paula had no authority to authorize this and we’re sorry. That’s it I can expect a call maybe in 2 to 4 days no phone number given to me no supervisor offered . So disappointed . I don’t understand why she had to lie. This affects people’s lives and livelihood.
We had the exact same problem. After the dealership had the vehicle for 9 weeks, they finally just replaced the engine. They ended up finding tiny red shavings in the cams. An hour after we got it back, and on our way out of town, all the radiator hoses blew and we sat on the roadside for 2 hours waiting for them. Turns out, they forgot to put any of the clamps on. Now we just took it in for a no start to a different dealership, and they told us everything under the hood was so loose, they can’t believe we’ve even been driving it. No more Chrysler products for us.
I have the very same case manager on my 2015 Durango bought new in Oct 2015 and in jan at 6,000 miles the computer went along with a wheel bearing, since then the lumbar seat had broke, the computer was fried, the headliner clips were broke, and the old maintenance lady was fired for not documenting peoples accounts. I have had it for 2 weeks out of the last 2 months, I’m done with Chrysler and will be trading in my husband’s truck as well to go back to gm or Chevy. At least they stand behind their vehicles. I’ve already contacted a lawyer for a lemon law claim no one should pay this much money for a car u can’t drive.
Thank you for AMERICAN MADE products
I purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee November of 2015. On July 6, 2016 I was involved in a car accident that left me with a broken wrist and 2nd degree burns on my side. I thought the accident was caused by weather conditions. Later I was contacted by the dealer where I purchased the vehicle and was informed the truck had 4 recalls. Out of the 4 recalls, my truck only had only two fixed. In turn, I asked what needed to fixed on the truck, and then informed the company of the truck being a total loss. I then explained to the rep what happened in my accident. She stated, “That sounds like the gear shifted”. Once I found this out, I did the research to identify what needed to be done to have the truck inspected. I spoke with a Jim Williams and provided him the location of the truck. In return, he said “The truck was moved”. I then proceed to locate the vehicle again. Once I found the truck, Jim Williams said “I can’t go out there and I have to find someone in that area”. Needless to say, nothing was done. I did receive a letter stating “We can’t locate the truck to complete an inspection”. I am so disappointed in this company. I could have died, but they don’t care. I’ll never let anyone I know purchase these unsafe vehicles and I really hope this company does better for their customers.
Can you please detail what happened in your accident? I am dealing with a similar situation, and gathering information.
I have a 2015 Grand Cherokee and I have three times had surge problems where I am applying the brakes and slowing down or completely stopped. My Jeep decided it was go time. I got in one small fender bender at a stop light. Had it happen to me while driving and slowing for a light. Fortunately there were no other vehicles nearby. The third time was ten days ago. I was applying the brakes and the Jeep tried to surge into the intersection. I had to bump a curb and jam the Jeep into Park to avoid an accident. Neither the Dealer nor Jeep Customer Care can help. They can’t replicate the problem so to them it does not exist. I am no confident about driving this vehicle!
I have a 2007 ram, 88000 miles, just had to replace the gas tank . I couldn’t put gas in it, lwas told they did everything Chrysler shop notice told them if everything failed Change the tank. To the tune of 1048.00 dollars.
If they put a shop order out they know there should a problem!!!! So why don’t they pay, or recall
Anybody have a 2008 Chrysler Aspen with ongoing problems? I have, and have been told by two dealers that they don’t know how to fix it. Hmmmm. This has been happening for 3 years. They agree there is something wrong, but just can’t fix it.
I do.. Lets not forget the Airbag recall with no fix!!! Basically we own SCRAP metal!!!
I have a 2009 Aspen that the battery keeps dying, I have for 2 + years used two different Chrysler dealerships and multiple parts changed out to include the cd player, nav system and something keeps running electrically even after the vehicle is shut completely off and the key is out of the ignition. After two years of it sitting looking great in the driveway and unable to use it I’m calling the corporate office. It is under LIFE TIME WARRANTY from when I purchased it and it is in immaculate condition. PROBLEM IS YOU CANNOT DRIVE IT DUE TO YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN IT IS GOING TO DIE AND CANNOT START IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I WAS GOING TO PURCHASE A CHRYSLER 2000 AND SINCE THIS PROBLEM I DID NOT AND WENT WITH A TOYOTA. VERY HAPPY WITH TOYOTA PRODUCT IN A SUV. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS ISSUE WITH AN ASPEN 2009???
I am leasing a 2016 Jeep Renegade since June of 2016. I had an accident on 10/30/16 and it was taken to the collision shop the next day. The shop did all the repairs needed, but they are waiting for a fan motor. The car has been done since November 16th, but the fan motor is on back order in Italy until February 2017!!!! 1st of all, why is the “American Made” Jeep waiting for parts from Italy?? There is not ONE of these fan motors in all of the US!!!! Both Chrysler and the dealership are useless. No one calls you back. They don’t care that I am not only paying for a car that I cannot even drive, solely due to this part, but I am also paying for a rental car! There is no end in sight to this nightmare and every time I try to get hold of anyone, I am spending hours waiting, being transferred, getting disconnected. I even went down to the dealer to see about breaking this lease because this is unacceptable. They told me I would be “upside down” on my lease and then gave me a price of $150 more per month than I am already paying. I will not only NEVER get a car from Chrysler again, but I will also never do business with this dealership again!!! I just want to scream!!
Kim, I am experiencing a similar problem. i have a 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland and the air suspension pump went out. My car has been at the Dealer now for 21 days and they have no idea when they will get a part in. The have not offered me a rental car or anything. I am beyond pissed and upset and I will NEVER buy a chrysler product again myself. I pray they get your car fixed immediately. God Bles
GET THE PART NUMBER FROM THE DEALERSHIP…. IF THEY ASK YOU WHY U NEED IT TELL THEM IT DOESN’T MATTER.
AFTER YOU GET IT CALL EVERY DEALERSHIP IN THE COUNTRY AND SEE IF THEY HAVE ONE. DON’T TELL ANYONE WHY YOU ARE CALLING AS THEY ALL COVER EACH OTHER ASSES
OF GET A USED ONE FROM AN AUTO WRECKERS AND TAKE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP YOURSELF…
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Dishonest company,
Taylor Chrysler and jeep dealership in Bourbonia Illinois. Accused me of fraud after having a Jeep Patriot for a month told me to bring there truck back and refused to give me my down payment. I have bought slot of cars in my life time but this by far was the worst deal ever the customer service and the way things were handle was totally not professional. They went as far as to threaten my employer and to call the police in me because I asked for my down payment this should have never happened and I hope they get to the bottom of this behavior
Living nightmare. Bought a brand new 2010 Jeep in 2010. Every two years after that (2012,2014 and last night) the transmission goes out. So through the first two times I’ve used up my warranty and the dealership just told me to go F**k myself and call Chrysler who said the GM will call me back with solutions. Here are some
1. New car
2. Money back
3. Replace it again
4. Cone pick me up everyday to take me to and from work
Which one?…..thought I bought a good car.
Small Claims Court.
I guess this is where we get to complain! I lease a 2015 Jeep Patriot with 10,200 miles while driving up the Garden State Parkway in NJ the rear window exploded, you would not believe how loud! I was looking all over trying to figure out what just hit me. After almost a month of trying to get Jeep to fix this I paid for the window. I feel this is a defect considering the exact same thing happened to my friends 2014 Patriot and I’ve seen similar stuff online. Chrysler Jeep knows there is a problem and knows how to hide. They were treating my friend the same way I’m being treated. That is right up till they found out this disabled son was in the back seat and had glass on him. All of a sudden my friends window was completely taken care of. No fault was admitted, they just fixed the window. The repair was $500.00, ( I got the off brand the OEM was $875.00) small compared to the crap others are going through, it just sucks. It goes back this week because you can still hear the broken glass inside the hatch.
There’s been a slight delay when accelerating since I bought my 2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude from your dealership brand new. My car suddenly stopped and lost power on me while making turns several times and has also just suddenly stopped in the middle of the road while driving several times over the years. I’m a registered nurse and on my way to work yesterday my car just suddenly stopped while driving right in the middle of the road!!! All these lights started flashing and when I tried to restart the car it would not come back on. After several tries it finally started. Wasn’t there some kind of recall about loss of motive power? My husband bought the car to your dealership and he was told this was not a problem with my car. But, after yesterday, I’m sure now it is!!! This is the third time my car just suddenly stopped in the middle of the road while driving in addition to the times it stopped when making turns. I’ve been blessed because these times I was leaving home and I live on back roads!!!! But, something bad can occur if this these things happen again on busier roads. Please help! Also, as a nurse, I would have been late for work and would have been compelled to leave my car in the middle of the road and accepted any means of transportation to work.
Smyrna BCP in Delaware
I just bought a 2017 jeep cherokee . obly had 16 days it id coming out of fear. Stops while driving . Cert dangerous. Still not resolved.
I had this problem and after years of every mechanic saying they didnt know what the problem is…I found out on my own by getting the book to my car that the problem was two sensors..one is the crank shaft sensor and the cam sensor..replaced them myself and never had that same issue again!
I am also having the same issue with my 15 Jeep Rubicon and it has been an ongoing problem since September. No one wants to help because our dealerships here in NV is unable to duplicate the issue. Therefore they can’t fix what they can’t duplicate which is BS. Here we are driving and now risking our lives with a defective vehicle which suddenly just stalls. Just wanted to let you know that you’re not alone but unfortunately we have a case with corporate but that doesn’t matter. 3 months with the Jeep in the dealership is ridiculous. And I am still paying for it!
I am having the same issue with my 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude. Slow ecceleration, no power going up hills that are at a slight incline, forget merging on the freeway jeep has no get up and go. I am afraid I am going to get hit. Took it to the Dodge dealer in Concord Ca they did a software up date on the transmission. Which not only made the problem worse it killed any gas mileage I was getting. I was getting on average 20 to 22 miles to the gallon now it’s 17.9 to 18.9 miles to the gallon.
I returned to the dealer, they kept the car 7 days and did nothing. Said there was nothing wrong with it. When I insisted they said the would have a Chrysler rep meet with me. So the I get called to bring the car in for the rep to take a ride along. He agrees there is a problem, but he is only the Chrysler tech supervisor and can’t help me. So he said he would call someone that could. It’s been over 6 weeks and no one has bothered to reply.
I am so upset that I purchased a Jeep because I want yo go off road, I can’t trust it if I do. Then to be ignored. Just wow.
So I called corporate only to be told they don’t know of any issue with this model car, yet I have heard and found plenty. Now we start again with another dealer.
Walter Chrysler would be ashamed to see his company treat customers this way.
In 2004 my wife a brand new Chrysler Sebring with a 2.7 liter engine. The care has only 77.419 miles on it when the engine locked up with out and warning . When I started to so research on this engine I came to find out that it was due to oil sludge.. While doing my research I came across where a number of customers has filed complaints to Chrysler for engine failure . I also watched several videos that causes oil sludge in this type engine {2.7 liter engine}. In watching these videos, I came to find out that the water pump is installed behind the timing gear and chain which has a cover plate to protect the timing gear and chain. With the water pump being installed behind the timing gear and chain you never know when the water pump is leaking and needs to be replaced therefore antifreeze leaks into the oil pan and causes oil sludge to build up in the oil pan choking the oil pump to where it can not pump the oil to the rest of the engine . This engine is very very poorly designed and Chrysler should be held accountable for all the problems this engine has caused people. I have never heard of a water pump being mounted where this one is . Chrysler has known about this problem since 1998 and has yet to address it and make a recall on this engine .yo my knowledge.
Sounds like my Jeep liberty
I am a Jeep Liberty owner. Initially loved my truck. But it soon became an electrical nightmare. After reading some of the horror stories on this website, and others… I’m seeing a trend. As consumers, only WE can make a difference. Clearly the dealerships don’t care, which is because Chrysler headquarters doesn’t force them to be responsible and provide true customer service. This is the same company that got bailed out of bankruptcy on OUR dime.
As a nation, if we STOP BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS this will have a two fold effect. It will let Chrysler know that as consumers we are fed up, and demand action. Secondly, under Trump, who you may or may not like, but that clearly knows how to run businesses, maybe when Chrysler dips into trouble again, they won’t be so lucky this time. They will go into the great unknown. Years from now, if you happen to own one of these products, you will have the privilege of saying, ya, I got lucky, got one that actually runs. They don’t make these anymore because the company didn’t give a damn about the public. All they cared about was lining their pockets, and it took them right out of the automotive game.
Know this Chrysler, if you keep disrespecting the people who have been keeping you afloat, we will eventually let you fall back into the quagmire you crawled out of not so long ago.
I just saw your post.
My 2012 Liberty Arctic with only 67,000 miles has had one issue after another.
Customer service is digraceful, dishonest, and Westbury Jeep disrespectful and full of fraud practices
I have a 2008 chrysler sebring. Recently I’ve had to put a transmission in a wiring harness installed a solenoid pack installed and now I have to have a pcm. No dealership has one so I had to order one myself online. I do not recommend anyone buy a chrysler sebring. My car only had 74000 miles. The check engine light comes on and stays on for a week cuts off car drives ok then it comes back on after a week or two. I’ve never had this much trouble out of a car before. Several people I work with have had bad experiences with chrysler dodge vehicles. I was told that I shouldn’t be having so many problems with this car especially with the pcm being faulty. I really feel that there needs to be a recall on pcm’s from chrysler
I wish I NEVER DECIDED TO BUY A CHRYSLER 200 2015. THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. THE CAR HAS STALLED WHILE DRIVING 8 TIMES FIRST TIME WAS A MONTH AFTER I BOUGHT IT. THE DEALERSHIP DOESNT WANT TO REPLACE IT. CHRYSLER DOESNT WANT TO HELP THEY ARE SO UNSYMPATHETIC TO WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME. THE CAR IS THE BIGGEST PIECE OF SHIT 3 RECALLS 10 REPAIR ATTEMPTS LATER AND STILL HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. I HOPE THIS BRAND TANKS THEY SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO MAKE CARS AGAIN THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT MY SAFETY OR THE SAFETY OF ANYBODY ON THE ROAD. SHAME ON CHRYSLER. SHAME.
i am having the same issue with my 2015 200C has been in the service department for 6 weeks, still have no resolution. and the best they can offer me is a discount, i am leasing and they are not offering to do substitution of collateral which will only put me more in debt . American Car company screws America after we bailed them out…SMH
i will be taken this to the media as well as every social media site!!!
These cars are death traps. I have a 200 limited and have had issues from the I bought it from Chrysler. Interior lights have never worked and they are unable to find the cause. My emergency brake locks up while driving locking the wheels and skidding. My transmission clunks when shifting. It’s all an electric problem. I tried to get the Chrysler dealership help me get into a safe car.! I wasbthen advised they cancelled production of these cars due to them having so many problems. I was then told I am to fat upside down as they are only worth about half what I paid. I would need $8000 to get into a new vehicle. As they are worthless. Now it’s really an issue as I moved to where it snows. I need a safe car for the snow. Ifnthenbreaks lock up an black ice and weather conditions. I know this car is going to be the death of me. I told my family if I get killed in an accident, it’s Chrysler’s fault and go after them. So upset
They are deceiving people. It’s not an American made car. I was told that mine was built by Peugeot and it takes those parts. It’s BS.. I have stuck with Chrysler for years and years. Now I’m stuck in a death trap. The emergency brake in gauges while driving, wheels lock up. My car eventually comes the screeching hault. It’s snowing where I live and the black ice is insane. I know this car is going to kill me. I am out about $10,000 in the hole with this car I owe $20,000 on it and it is only worth 8-10 thousand now beings it has been discontinued. I live paycheck to paycheck and I can’t afford to buy another car and make two payments.
Purchased a brand new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and brought it in for service. Picked up the car the next day with a scratches and dents on the back of the hatch. I have contacted the dealership and was told the service manager would address the issue and to this day that has not been done. I wrote many letters to Corporate Headquarters and to no avail, I have not been contacted back. My issue to this day has not been resolved. Nothing like dropping your car off at the dealership where you have purchased many cars from and picking it up to find scratches and dents on it and no one can speak up and apologize. I will have no choice but to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and State attorney if this issue does not get resolved.
Hughes Credit Union wrote a check for $39,000.00 to Jim Click Dodge in Tucson for a 2016 Dodge 2500 6.4 HEMI quad cab. I am 100% total permanent disabled combat veteran from injuries I incurred during Operation Iraqi Freedom. While purchasing the truck on July 29th 2016 a service dept rep told me to F…k Off and have a nice day. When I told management they said they would handle it. The guy is still working there. Okay, Jim Click Dodge told me that the truck they’re selling me will be great and will not fail due to my disabilities. On 10/29/2016 my truck stalled in the middle of traveling and I was almost hit by a semi truck. When I called Click they said I had to wait until Monday. I was not happy. Then they told me to call Chrysler roadside service who told me I would have to pay out an additional $88.00 which I did not have. I explained I was on a heart monitor and need transportation because I was so rural . He said he could send me to Sierra Vista AZ at no charge. Then Jim Click said “No Way” because if they are going pay for the car rental through enterprise then the truck has to be towed to them. When I spoke with Chrysler HQ. That person would not tell me if there is a recall or not, but he would start a case on it. So, now I’m stuck with a disabled vehicle which does move slowly . Therefore I will just drive it to my Doctor appointments or until another semi hits me. This is outrageously neglectful on Chrysler and Jim Click Dodge. Finally, after what the Chrysler person told me as we hung up, was not only very discriminant but also unbecoming. I am glad the conversation was recorded because I truly want to share this with National News Agencies.
Chrysler Dealers are selling new vehicles without Cabin Air Filters. I am just now being aware of these filters that have been around since 2000. My 2008 Pt Cruiser LX has the box for the Cabin Air Filter, but there is no filter in the box. Have been driving this vehicle for 8 years now with no protection from the air filter in the cabin of your vehicle. Have been informed that Chrysler intentionally did this to save money and put us owners at medical risk. When I went to the dealer to purchase the Cabin Air Filter, was informed my vehicle doesn’t even have the box for the filter which was not true. Upon my own personal inspection, there is a box for the filter, but no filter. For your own information of what a Cabin Air Filter is. Cabin Air Filters serve a dual purpose: The Cabin Air Filter is designed to do two things: Improve the quality of the air entering the passenger compartment through the heater and A/C system and keep dirt, debris, bugs, leaves, etc out of the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) evaporator and heater core. Shame On You Chrysler for putting us owners of your vehicles at medical risk by breathing unhealthy air, to save a few dollars on your end.
2007 Dodge Ram 3500 6.7 cummins 82,000 miles. Chrysler contacted me in 2008 to see if they could test my truck in Auburn Mills Mi test center since it was the first year of this motor and set up. Now in the last year I have replaced ball joints, the exhaust manifold gaskets and egr gaskets asked why and no answer. Last week 10/24/16 while pulling 12,000 lb trailer it had a total shut down on interstate 69 in Indiana. Had to have both towed in, replaced ecm, power module, and fuel pump at a cost of around $6000.00. What the hell this truck should not even be broke in yet. Asked why and same answer I don’t know. Want some answers and refunds. Always told people what a great truck this is but no more unless I get this issue taken care of. Always wandered if the testing had something to do with this.
Hello did anyone read this
I own a 2008 P/T Cruiser with a 2.4L turbo. I was having an electrical problem that I had brought the car in to Kings County Chrysler-Jeep 3 different times to fix, and I was told 3 different times that there was nothing wrong. Towards the end of September I brought the car in once again for that same problem, and for a NY state inspection. THIS TIME- the 4th time- the technician saw the problem for himself. The service rep told me that there was a $249 charge to diagnose the problem, if I chose not to let them repair the car. Anyway, they had my car for ELEVEN DAYSand when the work was finally done, the rep made it a point to tell me about the 14 miles of wiring that had to be traced and that the problem was an open ground in the ignition switch. Then he gave me a bill for $883. for the labor, a new switch and the $37. NY inspection fee. Pardon me, but where I come from The $249 diagnostic fee, $80. for the part, and $37. for the inspection adds up to $356, not $883. I told the rep that $356 is a far cry from $883. He then repeated the BS about tracing 13 miles of wiring, when he could’ve started the search at the beginning- the ignition switch, in which case I would’ve had my car back in ONE day, not 11, and the bill wouldn’t have been $883. Oh- and another thing- the first three times that I brought the car in for that problem, the car was under an extended warranty (Zurich Ins.) which expired in April. Miraculously, they found the problem AFTER the warranty expired. When I brought this to the rep’s attention, he blew it off by saying that the dealership would get paid regardless of who was doing the paying, and I told him that I don’t believe it was a coincidence that the first three times that I brought my car in for that repair it was under warranty but when they actually found the problem, it wasn’t. I think Chrysler should honor that warranty, because when I first brought it to their attention the car was still under warranty. I then said to the rep that he apparently does not know the power of the internet, and if there wasn’t a satisfactory resolution, not only would I never have my cars serviced there (I have TWO Chryslers), but I would never again purchase another Chrysler car because they engage in shoddy business practices-and they’re not good in basic math, either. Since Kings County Chrysler-Jeep doesn’t want to do the right thing by a good customer, I am reaching out to Chrysler corporate for relief,
I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, the Freedom top leaks…bad! I’ve had it at the dealership 4x, they charged me $1500 in the first visit for new seals because they weren’t covered under lifetime warranty. ($2500.00) Every time I’ve gotten my Jeep back the leak has been worse. This is a known problem and Chrysler has chosen to discontinue the freedom top, but will not fix the existing problems for hard working American customers. I’ve been given the runaround so bad I’m at my wits end and sick that a billion dollar company would do this to its customers. I’m a second time Jeep owner…17yrs my 1999 Wrangler didn’t leak, but was told by Nathan at JCD Dick Hannah in Vancouver Washington that all Jeeps leak! I wasn’t told this in the sales pitch!! Had I known all the HELL I’ve gone through w/this I’d have never bought this vehicle…$35,000 and that’s the answer I got! It has 46,000 miles on it at 5yrs old and I DO NOT and NEVER have taken the tops off!! It’s unbelievable to me that Jeep has chosen to make more money off their manufacturing error at the expense of hard working Americans! I have contacted Attorneys and I am hoping to get this issue taken care of, I am not a letigious person…I feel I have no choice. It is not an unreasonable expectation to have a dry vehicle. I hope JCD comes up w/a solution for all Jeep customers dealing w/this problem…it’s the right thing to do. Thank you
We have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler and we are having leaking problems also. My daughter was driving it on the highway and a tool hit into her window. They had to remove the front window and the tops to fix the dash, now it leaks. They have replaced all seals in the Jeep and it continues to leak in different places. I am getting ready to fight the battle. This Jeep qualifies for the Oregon Lemon Law because it’s under two years old under 24,000 miles and its been in the shop multiple times and over 40 hours. I would be curious to know how yours turns out. I am asking that they buy the Jeep back. I would never have bought it if I knew it would leak. the Salem dealership can’t even get us in to get it fixed for three months because they have a line up of leaking problems. Good luck!
Wow! I have the same issue! 2014 Jeep Wrangler. I have just over 20000 miles on it. I took it back the week after I purchased it and I have had it in the shop at least 5 times – i asked for them to look at the leaking top every time I have had it in to get the oil changed and the tires rotated. 3rd time they told me it needed new seals, last time they said the same thing. I picked it up and it just happened to rain overnight. We got in and water just poured in. I took it back again – they kept it for 3 days. When they finally called back I was told that I had done something to the skeleton of the top and that it had bent outwards (from the inside out)! and that it was clear that I had not “taken care of it” properly – although I had been having an issue virtually since the day I bought it. I also have the oil housing leak that was supposed to be fixed the last time it spent a week in the shop. I sent a lengthy email to Landers Dodge outlining my issue and asked how I could possibly have damaged the skeleton in the manner that they were trying to describe and to date have received no response.
I would really like for an email back.
My father worked at the Newark Delaware plant and retired from there. Yes I get deals on all vehicles, but I can say the service here at the John Elway in greeley colorado sucks. All I need is an oil change, called to make an appointment and the can not get me in. I only have Saturdays off a day by the time I get done work a day get there they are closed. WHY do you guys over book to where people can not get this done. Now I have to take a day off of work and NOT get paid to get my oI’ll chaneed. This is very frustrating to me.
I purchased a 2016 Chrysler 200s in August of 2015 and it has been back to the dealer 3 times for the transmission, first the issue was due to a regulator recall part and since that part has been replaced approximately 3-4 mos ago, as of tomorrow 10/14/16 it is going back to the dealer to get checked because the transmission is again snatching and popping into gear.
I tried speaking to someone at the Chrylser Headquarters and of course the only people that you are able to speak with are the ones that says that they are sorry and can’t do anything to assist you, all im supposed to do is to keep taking the vehicle back to the dealer to continue to patch and fix. I don’t think so my only recourse is to speak with a lawyer and file a lemon law compliant against them.
We are extremely disappointed in this company. We bought a 2015 dart this past feb and it has been in the shop several times ( 7 times) in the last 7 months we have owned it. My husband and i have called the headquarters and had a case openes for it in hope of getting a replacement vehical because this dart is not safe to drive. ( so it sits) the gears shift like crazy… No power to get out of it’s own way. The headquarters made an appointment to have the service department hook the dart up to a computer and drive it….they DID NOT hook it up they just rode around in it with my husband driving they guy KNEW something was wrong with it and he never reportes that part back to the headquarters instead the flashed the computer then sent the report. We still will NOT drive this car… We wont even let our 5 year old ride in this car EVER. Chrysler has told us oh well its fine. They were the ones who offered us a replacement vehicle up until the service person lied to them and they went with him. He doesnt drive the car on a daily Basis ( when we did drive it) we know the car, he doesn’t. Now we are trying to trade in the dart but we have lost so much faith and trust in this Company that am sure that won’t even happen either. We have friend’s that are businesses people who use vehicles for their company and they were looking into trucks from this Company and since what happened to us… They will never to go Chrysler dodge jeep and nor will we when it comes time. Thank you
Wiping tears away,
There was NEVER an issue of if my car was to be repaired only when. Today a manager Frank tried to block & denied my HELP from the corporation to the dealership. I am seriously trading to a competitive establishment other than Chrysler..
Wiping tears, there was NEVER an issue of if my car was to be repaired only when. Today a supposed manager Frank tried to block & denied my HELP. I am seriously considering trading in to a different corporation. The customer service department today is deplorable.
Exhaust fumes entering thru AC vents when stopping quickly from 50-60 mph & sometimes in heavy traffic at a stop. Doesn’t stop when on recirculate . Car is 2013 dodge gr. caravan. Now has 9700 miles. Has been to Firkins dodge 4 times for same problem. Dealer says they cannot duplicate problem ?Now has a case #but the case Mgr. says they may not be able to extend warranty for that 1 issue . Even though the dealer says that vents are gear driven, I believe that they are opening slightly when stopping quickly .
Worst experience in 30 years dealing with GCDJ service department… Staff is incompetent and does not respond to customer issues . Management does not care and passes issues along until there lost in the system. Advice to everyone If the car is cheap by all means buy it …. Please do no’t have it serviced at this dealership and for all means do not by a extended warranty from them… Take your car to another dealer to have it serviced if you plan on keeping it a while this dealership will be leave you shaking your head a few years later like why why why.
Forgot to mention my had literally no milles when I bought it so it was brand new with all these issues! My car now has 24,000milles not good for a new car!!! I need chrylser to help me out or simply I’ll say Bye Bye to chrylser.
Forgot to mention my had literally no milles when I bought it so it was brand new with all these issues!
I will not buy another Chrysler product. 2017 will mark the year that all manufacturing is going to Canada and Mexico. Thanks Chrysler for screwing America, maybe you should sell your products in Canada and Mexico exclusively. I own a 2011 Dodge Charger RT Toxic orange. I will keep it for now. I guess I should understand why besides cheaper labor maybe the workers in Canada and Mexico won’t get drunk or high on their lunchbreak, I saw this on 60 minutes.
I have owned 3 jeeps, 1 that I still have. 1 town and country, which my son has, 1 Pt Cruiser, 1 barracuda, and 1 1980 which I don’t remember the model. Also my daughter leases a Grand Cherokee every 3 years.
I now have my 2010 PT Cruiser which has 34000 miles on it that I keep in good repair. Tires, oil changes,
wipers etc. Now I would like to know with all this TLC. why does my air bag indictor lights up and beeps
every so often. I check with a dealer in Southampton, NY at the cost of 40 dollars and was Informed it would cost approximately 300 to repair. How could this have happened. If My passenger is 240 pounds or better
the air bag activates. Is this a defect?
I have recently purchased a Chrysler Pacifica 2004 there’s a lot of recalls not on my vehicle but on the parts that are used on the vehicle I was driving down the road in my vehicle caught fire electrical part that had been recalled Chrysler said it is not their place to replace it and now I’m out of a vehicle I don’t believe this is right what happened to the customer service the name Chrysler I just don’t understand why you would not put customers first if a customer is willing to buy your vehicle and you should be willing to stand by Your Word just proves to me that you just want us to spend money on your product and don’t care about your customers very upsetting to know the money I spent on my vehicle will never be replaced why do you put recalls on your product if you’re not going to fix the recall you sent to investigators you sent two investigators out to investigate my vehicle it took you over 2 months to tell me what you could have told me over the phone instead you led me to believe that you were going to help me a corporation as biggest Chrysler should want to help their customers want to stand by their word but I see this is not true I’m very upset I’m very hurt to know but all you want us to do is to spend our money on your products just scrap it instead of standing by your product and wanting us to have I still think you need to stand by your product I still believe that there is some good and some people could you possibly help a customer that enjoys your product and is leaving us out in the cold
Wow bought a 2016 with 7 miles on it 3 months later dropped a valve in my ram 1500 dealer has had it now 3 months and still cant get a new motor ive had 5 rams in last 15 years and this is how you stand behind your trucks very sad and will never buy another dodge do to how weve been treaded you got your money and who cares about the customers and if theres a 4 month wait on a motor theres something wrong
We got a bumper to bumper warranty with chrysler Dodge and they with not honor it.
Because it was to must money for repair .so they said I didn’t do my 5 year protection inspection. But we did do the 5 yrar on trane inspection. Now they say it did say that you pass and willnot repair by vehicle
I never use the media to bring an issue, but this one needs an immediate attention… Unbelievable that Chrysler Corporation is willing to put the safety of my family in danger because they do not want to take the time and fix the problem that I brought to their attention three weeks ago. It was elevated to a case manager but still not resolving the problem (case #29962981)I want to make this public just in case something happen to any of my family members while we are driving the vehicle that it has not been fixed.
SOUND EXACTLY LIKE WHAT THEY DID TO ME!
My jeep stalled at 75mph on the highway Tipm issue!
Left my six year old son and I on the side of the highway for 9.5 hours until my car insurance co picked up up.
Complete lies, I have been reporting seat belts, engine, battery, fuel pump, door locks, wiper issues for years, now claiming it’s out of warranty with 59k miles on it!
They Lied on recorded calls, claims manager no longer worked there after my WHAT was suppose to be 2.5 hour drive, that took my son and I 23 hours, jeep would not accelerate!
Recall, yet not my vin.
Sent to arbitration, denied for mileage
Keeper passed inspection in Ga
2200 miles later failed in NC?
42k jeep on top of repair bills, hotels, rentals 5,000 at least.
21 fatalities so far from this issue I’ve NEVER dealt with more careless, law breaking, warranty breaching jerk off liars in my life!
Horrible company placing each and EVERYSINGLE PERSON ON THE ROAD, in extreme DANGER!!!
Report! Report
CAS/NHSTA/ federal trade commission
Attorney generals, they need to file bankruptcy AGAIN, it would save lives!
Although I liked my Jeep Grand Cherokee getting simple service from any dealership(i have tried 4) is non existent. Simple recalls cannot be fixed nor my assisted cruise control I will never again buy this product & will deter everyone I know from doing so. If you cannot follow through with adequate service it ruins the whole product.
DIANNE HAYES…I own a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Last year the leather on the dashboard, on the passenger side was, was peeling and detaching itself. I took it to the dealership in town, they took pictures and sent it to whomever, but they declined to fix it. They said because my vehicle was no longer under warranty, there was nothing that could be done. I have the Overland Grand Cherokee. This is supposed to be the top of the line vehicle of Jeep. I was not expecting for something like this to happen to the vehicl . I’ve owned just as expensive vehicles, if not a little more expensive. I’ve never had a vehicle to do that before. You pay all that money for a vehicle that you think is of good quality, then this happens. Chrysler doesn’t have to worry about me purchasing another vehicle from them.
You are really putting Jim Gaffigan front and center of your brand. He’s even on your website. I’ve seen many of his commercials without ever figuring out what car he was advertising (even though I’m in the market for a minivan). I finally had to google “That wagon isn’t going to move itself” to find out who I’m so disgusted by. Who thinks this is a good advertising campaign in 2016? A dour jerk can barely contain his hatred for his family? And is it supposed to be funny? I was a kid in the 80’s and I always had a great perception of Chrysler, but now I’m getting the idea that your company is run by a bunch of misogynists who hate their children. Gross. Jim Gaffigan is awful and his brand of comedy sucks and you should stop paying him to ruin your brand.
Dodge dealer ship in Tallahassee and Quincy sucks, I can understand the dealership in Quincy Fla, having a low population and all. My Chysler 300 had a problem cranking I take it to the Dodge dealership in Tallahassee to get a diagnosing diagnosis. They tell me it’s my starter and battery, which would be $894.003 and it still may not be the problem. I brought a mechanic with me, in which I’m glad cause it got me out of a 130$ diagnosis fee. They gave me the key before signing and threatened to call the police, because I wouldn’t sign saying I refuse my recall also. After I said go head so I can make a complaint too, so they put me on the list to not service. I took my car to another service center, paid $325 with running car. This was in May. Went to the Dodge Dealership in Quincy to get a recall done, walked out with my radio not going off and on. They tell me it’s not their fault. When I came it was going off and on. Called Corporate Again and the BBB to file a complaint. It makes you think all Dodge dealerships are crooks.
July 29, 2016
I own a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Present mileage 38858.
Since I bought it I have a problem with the Transmission creating a loud grinding noise when accelerating and shifting in and out of top gear at speed 45-50mph…the normal speeds on all roads. The vehicle stutters and it is very frustrating.
The vehicle has been in the Jeep workshop 8 times and still not fixed.
Chrysler is too cheap an operation to install a new Tranny – instead they do patchwork. This is the record of their attempt to fix it
1 Replaced Torque converter
2 Replaced EGR Valve Diaphram
3 Replaced Torque converter because the first replacement was with a RECONDITIONED part.
4 Replaced Drive Shaft (supposedly the problem) Nothing but a guessing game!
5 Replaced Rear drive shaft assembly
6 Replaced Ring gear and pinion in Diff. case
7 Replaced Front pump, Input shaft in Tranny
8 Replaced Valve Body in Tranny
In the meantime Chryser has spent more money on Warranty Patchwork than if they replaced the Tranny after the 4th attempt to fix it
Now on Aug 3. a SUPER Engineer will come from the factory to fix it…ANOTHER PATCHWORK
and I lost over 25days of the use of my vehicle.
Today I filed a complaint with the State Attorney under the Lemon Law Clause.
Enough is Enough
Been going through the same thing with a 2008 Aspen. I’ve been told, after going through the same type repairs and MUCH $$$$, that their “super” technicians won’t know how to fix it because it’s too old and they don’t make them any more. So frustrating and depressing. My car was in a dealer for TWO MONTHS straight, without being repaired properly.
Chrysler Dodge durango piece of shit car. You don’t back up your products. You don’t give a shit about the people that drive your cars and their safety is at risk. I will never buy your products I tell everyone not to buy. Dealership worst service. Corporate service horrible service. I bet you don’t even drive your own products.
I have a 2015 Ram I purchased brand new.it has had a high spot and low spot in the hood since purchased one dealership had it removed twice it came back second dealership I went to recommended the hood be replaced all together but Chrysler will not do it.I’m taking it to their body shop 3 times I told them I did not pay for a patch together vehicle I paid for a new one.they are always threatening and intimidating on the phone saying if I don’t take it that way nothing will be done I went to the Better Business Bureau and filed numerous complaints any suggestions.I constantly ask for their supervisor when dealing with them they tell me there is no one else to talk to so I asked the last lady on the phone so you run Chrysler.
received a so8 recall notice made two appointments to have this corrected and have had both appointments cancelled as no parts available. Now l am told they are not sending parts out any more for the repair. Called the 1800 number and received the attitude that it is not our problem just call your dealer and go on a waiting list. There are no waiting lists and you are not sending parts anymore. This is poor service and seems you do not want to take responsibility for your mistakes. We are to call back in October as it our responsibility now not yours. When purchasing this product we where told it was safe. NOT SO and YOU WOULD BACK IT UP!!!!!! Good luck. The number in not in service how convenient! There is no way to get a hold of you that does not give me the royal run around false info that means you can just ignore everything. Congratulations on extremely poor service .
I am very disappointed at Chrysler customer service .. not a dealer. My 2012 Chrysler 300 had transmission problems. I did not know it was still under warranty. It was purchased used from a Chrysler dealer and they did not disclose how long the warranty remained. It has been quite some time since I purchased a car – period, so warranty data has changed. I had AAMCO repair the transmission and Chrysler will not adhere to their warrant obligations. When learning I asked a service rep at a dealership, and he said I was better off because the dealerships would take a minimum of 3 weeks to repair, and that is if they had anyone for transmissions. Most don’t any more and they send all their work to AAMCO. So, if that’s the case, what’s the difference? They should reimburse me or give some sort of credit. The rep at customer service was talking down to me and instead of allowing an irate customer to settle, she insighted more anger into the conversation by talking over me. Don’t they train anyone in customer service any more? I drive the roads and see so many foreign cars, disappointing. Now, I know one of the reasons. I would love to be contacted by someone with customer service intelligence. Seems they would receive more credibility by recognizing the situation and seeing the value in making it right. Rather than recommending Chrysler and the 300, I am inclined to not recommend Chrysler.
I have a 2011 jeep grand Cherokee that went crazy on me while driving. It seems to be an expensive electrical problem that they claim isn’t covered under my warranty. Funny thing is that I see a lot of jeep owners with the same truck have this problem. The dealer claims that he found a melted part behind the dash board and that the fuse box might also have to be replaced. How can a faulty electrical dash board or fuse box not be a covered item, My jeep almost caused a major accident because it down shifted to 1st gear(I have an automatic not a stick shift) while I was driving. its been over a week and they still have my truck. If anyone has any info on a class action suit, please contact me asap.
Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram on Central Avenue in Yonkers, New York.
This is the last place anyone should go. Poor customer service, poor representation once you enter between the front desk rep, to the finance guys, to the salesman.
They don’t know all their info upfront and make you wait for things they should already know.
****I went in on a Wednesday afternoon to upgrade to a new vehicle. I started the paperwork, left a $500 deposit and was told the application would be process the next day. That same day on Wed I came back with a friend who actually purchased a car. A $33,000 sale for them.
I had no answer on my deal up until 3 days later on Saturday so I told them to stop trying and refund my $500. Now of course, I am getting the run around for my $500. The refund person isnt there. Not sure if Imma get it, blah blah blah.
I need to know I need to contact about an employee in San Antonio Texas . Lone star Chrysler Jews dodge
We have a 2005 Pacifica with a rusted frame. The 2004 was recalled for the same exact reason. They did not recall the 2005. When we brought our car for routine servicing, the mechanic called us to come in. He stated that our frame housing the engine was rusted front to back and this has been an ongoing problem for the Pacifica. He advised us to contact the dealership because the frame was defective from production. This issue was on Channel six news in 2014 for exactly the same reason. After the story aired did Chrysler do something! Now they are refusing to do something for us. The car has 85,000 miles and is in good condition. The car dealer has pretended to want to help us, but hasn’t really done anything. They keep on pushing it off to Chrysler; however, they sent pictures to the sales rep. and they refuse to do anything! The worst customer service I have ever seen. This is our fourth Chrysler product and I will never buy another product from them. I called customer service corporate and was advised that I would get a return call in 24 hours. It is now 9 days later and no one has called. Wanted to give an American car dealer the business. Now I know why customers buy Japanese. Their cars are still going at 150,000 miles. Why should I have to dump a car with 85,000 miles?
Call the news station that originally aired the problem…take it to motor very and have them check it for road worthyness…check the side of the door look for the production date if it is before 8/15 this vech was made in 2014 OR chassis is left over they do that quite often use left over parts to the next year vech …good luck

On April 8, 2016 I receive a letter from AFC saying that they were sorry to learn of the incident but the Investigations didn’t believe that the incident was due to a manufacturing responsibility. That was what your investigation that did the report so what else would they say. I will be making this claim again. I would be going to the news with this.
Chrylers need to take responsibility for your cars.
I receive a recall letter from you for a vehicle that has already been claim on.
R61/NHT 15V-675 for a defect Anti-LockBrake systems ModuIe said that it will cause a cash without warning. “WOW” that what happen with my 2015 Dodge Journey.
Your recall letter was four month to late. I also brought a 2015 Cherokee Jeep have it three weeks and the engine light kept coming on I return it back.
I need to get in contact with the president of the company.
You will be hearing from me again.
Very similar incident with 2013 Dodge Durango on May 13, 2017. Car accelerated to high speed while backing out of parking spot at rest area. Applied brake as heavily as humanly possible, to no avail. Car crashed into two other vehicles parked behind, jumped curb and broke axle, finally stopping in grassy area. No injuries, but extensive damage to all vehicles. Police report and damage estimate pending. Will notify NHTSA,, Consumer Affairs, and other agencies when all document have been obtained.
Careful when dealing with this run down Jeep dealership Just looking at the building, I should have thought twice about dealing with them. The issue apparently lies with the part time owner, a Mr. O’Hara. I say part time, because he never is there when trying to talk to him.
As I will explain, I should never have gone into the place at all.
My first bad experience was doing an upgrade to the radio. When they did it, the radio was destroyed. They explained it was caused by the Jeep’s new software. It took over month to get a radio that worked.
it’s interesting that when you fill out a survey that Jeep sends you concerning service, it apparently goes back to the dealer with your name on it.
Everything went well with the next oil change. In fact, i actually think the service manager, Ron, is a very nice guy. He goes out of his way to help.
Then, came the really poor experience. How many have had a new oil filter installed that was claimed to be defective? I got home after an oil change to see oil pouring out of the bottom of the car on to our garage floor. Ron came to the house to check it out.
He explained that the filter was defective (from Mopar). He saw that the oil had sprayed all over the engine while I drove home, and then the oil poured onto the garbage floor. He came back and personally cleaned the floor.
Then, I had to drive the car back to the dealership the next day. I waited well over two hours while they did the oil change again, and attempted to clean out the oil from the splattered engine. “Attempted” is because that night it again was dripping on the garage floor.
Ron came again to clean it up. I, again, spent over two hours returning to the dealership for them to try and clean the engine.
He even gave me a free oil change for the future, because of the continued aggravation. He told me my complaint was with Jeep and Mopar.
I filed a complaint with Chrysler Jeep, because I had concerns that the spill might have caused a future problem with our painted garbage floor, and Ron said his dealership would not file an insurance claim, as it would raise its premium.
So, Jeep got involved. It was decided that the dealer should do a complete (including engine) detailing of the car, as I requested. They would not do anything about the floor, itself. Plus, the dealer could do the upgrade of a Jeep recall of its gearshift issue. A date was confirmed after about a day, as I had asked for a loaner car this time (and this dealer doesn’t normally have one), and management had to approve it.
in the interim, the car ‘s brakes are making a strange noise. I am wondering it the sprayed oil has effected them, too?
Here’s the clincher! Today, I received a call from Ron explain that Mr. O’Hara refuses to honor the agreement at his dealership. He explained that my review with Chrysler Jeep ( even though Ron said the review was complimentary to the dealership), caused his dealership to be rated a 3 by Chrysler Jeep. He wouldn’t service me ever. He even said the free oil change offer was rescinded.
So, I rate them a one star, because there is no zero stars. I guess I should never have started with dealership that looks like it it is run down and should be rebuilt.
I have a call into Jeep Corp. again. So far, in this second day, they haven not even returned my call. Who knows what they will do? I can only give them a poor rating, and hope to stop others from thinking of dealing with poorly run dealership again
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
Paid for them to register our new Ram 1500 and we had to pay extra because it was being registered in NC. Been calling for 2 weeks and they have no answer. Finally got Mike Perez on the phone today and he said it’s not his problem you can’t drive the car it will take a few more days after going back and forth on the phone he told me ‘WE CAN DANCE AROUND THIS ALL DAY” … I went down to the dealership to request a loaner car since I can no longer drive my brand new truck with no plates. He didn’t want any customers hearing they can’t follow through with their job, so he called the police… Apparently they police are at this dealership every week because of the same thing…. Called corporate numerous times and they claim every dealership is individually owned and they are not responsible for what happens at the dealership. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP …… THEY WANTED TO MAKE MY NEXT TRUCK PAYMENT IF I SIGNED A PAPER SAYING THEY DIDN’T MAKE A MISTAKE AND MESS UP MY REGISTRATION AND I HAVE BEEN LYING ABOUT EVERYTHING….
CORPORATE DOES NOT CARE HOW THE DEALERSHIPS HANDLE THEY CUSTOMERS THEY ARE CROOKS JUST LIKE THE DEALERSHIPS.. STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY AND AGGREVATION
Customer service is useless!!! We have a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 truck with 12,000 miles had engine noise. Dealer has had it for the last 8 days Chrysler tells them they have to tear engine down 1 part at a time. Do not know when they will be able to have it back to us Called customer service to get a replacement vehicle rental, was told we needed a service contract. What is the 100,000 mile warranty for? Also tried to send a complaint to customer service but their web site will not except any complaints so what good is that web site!!!!
Woah, but then again maybe i shouldnt be so surprised at this page and the negative comments.
i was the owner of a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. WAS happy with the vehicle and the lease i was in. as time came to return the vehicle i thought about something else. i stupidly stuck it out with another Jeep. recalls after recalls after RECALLS with that 2013 lead to more recalls with the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited i now have. what i find funny is the Chrysler overs up the recalls by stating a different issue to bring the vehicle in. the vehicle i now have had a recall BEFORE i purchased it but was never told. i found out about it through my insurance company.
this current Jeep i have has electrical problems they havent recalled yet. the GPS is one of the worse that i use the Google GPS on my phone. the bluetooth connects for a few days then unconnects without me doing anything. the sunroof tend to have shortouts. would open half way only to stop for a few minutes then start again. the major recall that hasnt happen is the braking system. i have heard of a few, i’m sure theres many more where the brakes dont work. i know this for a fact because it happened to my brother in his vehicle. he thought nothing of it but i made him take it to Jeep to get it fixed. i have been waiting on that recall. where is it Jeep?!
Board of Directors?! Upper Management?! what do we do about this?! i know of a people that want to buy Jeep but havent since they have heard of the issues i have with it. wish someone would have told me about it before. there’s no sense in keep paying for what has turned out to be a lemon of a vehicle. i dont want this vehicle i thought i would have been happy with. wrong of me to think that, huh?! i want to feel comfort when i drive a car. Jeep doesnt give that comfort. i’ll hold my breath for a response/acknowledgement.
DO NOT BUY CHRYSLER BRAND!!!
Does ur latest commercial with the gay guy looking through the window of his house say he thinks the owner of the van is handsome and ” hung”???? Please answer immediately so I can start my law suit
in begging of May 2016, I purchased jeep Cherokee from dealer, after 2weeks towed this car at the time we i got done from my job and walked to my car, the emergency break doesn’t release and let the car moved, that was at 7pm, i called the road assistance the get help from them, they let me waiting until 11:30 pm then
when they came the said sorry we can’t pick up the car, i called taxi and go home, that was the first problem, and second one is we before three days from the first problem i just got a lot of water in said my car i just check all the windows rolled up, the dealer informed me the theirs leaking from the moon roof of my car the i have to pay attention for that and the cant do any thinks for my until replace the moon roof gasket, so during this time i have to caver my car until get call from them, i followed for what they said to my then the replaced the gasket, but i faced the same problem when we got rain last week .
TO THE UPPER MANAGEMENT I DONT WANTS THIS CAR ANY MORE, JUST PAY FOR NEW CAR TO GET COMFORTABLE
finally i just got excuse from jeep there is no real action at all
My water problem is inside, you can hear swish sound when i turn a corner.. After it rains it gets inside through a “trough” dealership also said sun roof!! No, it is not the sunroof!! So i think it is leaking onto the electrical inside the dash.. Well, cant start my car, have to have it towed for the sixth time!! I just want them to buy it back!!
My complaint submitted to management. Still no response back as promised by manager.
Hello Mr. Triboletti,
My name is Carl Matthews and I am reaching out to you to submit a complaint regarding the service I received while visiting your dealership at Carman Chrysler jeep at 196 S. Dupont highway on Thursday June 9th 2016. I purchased my 2016 Jeep cherokee limited from Reedman toll in Langhorne pa in December 2015. Recently the service light came on saying that the 4wd needed servicing. I contacted the dealer at the above mentioned location to bring in for servicing and was told that this would be covered under the manufacturer warranty. I recieved a call from the service manager stating that something hit the axel and put a hole in the axel causing fluid to leak from the car and this is not covered under the warranty. The price to have this fixed would be $3,100. This came as a shock to me considering there has never been a leak from the car since I’ve purchased the vehicle. No indication of any spills in my driveway or upon inspection when I picked up the car. Secondly, the car is considered an off road vehicle which I’ve only driven back and forth to work with no off road activity. I’m not sure how a car designed for that purpose could be damaged in such a way due to just normal driving. I requested a manager to call me back to discuss this since I’m under the impression that this is covered. A manager never called me back. Upon arrival at your dealership to pick up my car I was informed that there would be a diagnostic service charge of $118.45 which was never mentioned to me by the service representative who I initially spoke with when I came in to have my car serviced. I arrived at your dealership to retrieve my car around 830 pm and spoke to your used car sales manager David Tarantino to try to resolve the issue regarding the diagnostic charge. I’ve never been treated in such a way as your sales manager Mr. Tarantino treated me. As I tried to explain the problem to Mr. Tarantino he was extremely rude. Telling me that I should have read what I signed when dropping off the car. I tried to explain to Mr. Tarantino that I signed nothing stating that there was any fee to look at the car. Mr. Tarantino then very rudely explained that the service department is now closed and that my car would not leave the lot until payment is made. He refused to listen to my concern and continuously interrupted me as I tried to explain the problem. He then got very loud with me while other customers were in the dealership and asked me to “get out”. I explained to him that I’m a customer and should not be talked to in that manner. I was never rude or disrespectful to Mr. Tarantino. All the other sales people in the department were extremely nice and helpful and seemed quite embarrassed by Mr. Tarantino’s reaction. I then explained to him that I did not want to speak to him anymore due to his extreme rudeness and proceeded to speak with another member of your team outside the dealership. Mr. Tarantino then proceeds to come outside and tells me to leave. I explained that I’m speaking with the sales representative and would rather not discuss this anymore with him due to his extreme rudeness. He then tells me to get off his lot or he will call the police to have me removed. I explained to him that I have done absolutely nothing to deserve such treatment. I am appalled at the way I was treated by this person who is supposed to be a manager and representing your company. After my altercation with Mr. Tarantino every sales representative in the office came out to apologize to me for the way I was treated by this individual. I am absolutely amazed that this is the way he would treat a customer and was informed by other representatives there that this has been an ongoing issue with Mr. Tarantino and the way that he treats customers at your dealership. I walked away from your dealership with an unresolved issue, $118.45 out of my pocket that I had to pay in order to get my car back and the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had with any company. This person is a bad representation of your company especially since I was told that your dealership prides itself on thier customer service. I could not believe that he would talk to a customer in such a manner and do so in front of other potential customers that were being helped around your dealership. I never asked for your information but was given it by another sales representative who apologized over and over again for the behavior of Mr. Tarantino and insisted that I contact you to tell you what happened. At this point I will never deal with your company again but wanted to reach out to you to see how we can right this extreme wrong. I’m only requesting that my payment of $118.45. be refunded back to me due to the miscommunication of your sales representative. I am also asking that you reevaluate Mr. Tarantino’s position with your company. This is supposed to be a person of leadership within your company but is a very poor representation and has truly tarnished your company’s image with me and what appears to be, according to your other representatives there, several other customers. You may want to discuss the situation with the other employees that were there due to the fact that they seemed very disappointed and embarrassed by the actions of Mr. Tarantino. I would appreciate a call back from you to see how this matter can be resolved without going any further. I can be reached at (267 ) 303-8269. I thank you in advance for your time and prompt response to this concern and will await your call.
Sincerely,
Carl Matthews

On June 3 rd 2015 I went into the Michigan City dealership to buy my wife a car because she was going to start her chemotherapy. Burk was my salesman and for this being a brand new car it turned out to be a lemon. It has been in the shop 4 times and excuse after excuse.. Finally the 4 th time they put a new transmission in the car paying 27,000 there should be no problems. We called the corporate office takes to Mayone and all she could tell us is you better go get the car before they start charging you storage.. In fact all we wanted is to get put in another car.. All this upsets me now I have to seek an attorney call Chanel 5 news and get ahold of the Attorney Generals office. In stead of worrying about my wife and her cancer I was to busy taking my car back 4 times what Ashame.. Dissatisfied IS THIS HOW A BUSINESS IS TO BE RUN
Im at jeep now, my carpet keeps coming untucked from my 2014 Sahara Wrangler around the comsole area, really looks bad and also starting to do so on the other side. My jeep only has 23,000 miles and only into its 2nd year warranty. Chrysler doesnt want to replace it nor do anything except try to refit what looks terrible…Also, my dealership keeps giving me dirty rent cars which I have pics of, not to say I just got my seat replaced that day one I told them it wasnt right and it took this long and other dealerships and friends to back me…Did I mention the scratches on it when I first bought it, it took 3 times to come in and get it fixed because they had an outside person come in the first 3 times that made it worse before taking it to the body shop….Well, service areas open we’ll see what happens this time….
BAD SERVICE! I took my chrysler 300 to get it checked for a tapping noise underneath the dash of the car and replacing air vent. Well they SAY it had defects but did not tell me what they were. My air vent was never touched and is worst than what I took it. The dealer ship in PHOENIX AZ on 27th Ave and Camelback had my car for 6 days but looks like they did not do a thing to it. I had to pay for a rental and their so call service which was never done. I will never go to a dealer ship again and will not buy another chrysler.
Same with my jeep cherokee they say they had a chrysler professional tech in town he couldn’t find my problem said it could take hundreds of hours to diagnose. Have less power than i had when i took it. Martin automotive jeep bowling green ky.
Horrible service for chrylser!!! I been having issues with my chrylser 300 transmission!!! And they haven’t been able to help me!!! Last year September 10, 2015 car was pulling took it in service Albert from service contacted me and said it was the brakes like really it’s a brand new car why would it have that issue so I had to pay 100$ to supposably get fixed for car to stop pulling well brought car home right away started pulling again!! Took it in they had it for about 2 months without contacting me so I called they said they could find issue well then the next day they called me and said ok it’s the transmission we have to replace the whole thing I was like really wow!!! They did but before they did that same day they told me ok we have to order a transmission because we don’t have any here I said ok next day I called to see if they got to order one and they said yes that same day they supposably put in the trasmission and next day was ready for me to pick! In my mind I was like how did they put it in so fast? And how did they get it so fast if they had to order from another state! It was all BS! So that being said long story short car is still pulling now it’s worse well I take it to service department they tell me there is no issue with car which I know there is!!!! Vehicle is pulling hard while driving! I still trying to contact chrysler and they send me to some management department or idk what it’s called this is just a big issue I hate this brand now!!! CHRYLSER is a bad dealership ! they do not try to helplay with you needs! I do not recommended anyone to go to this dealership ‘Larry h miller chrysler jeep!!!!
I’ve been a satisfied customer of jeep and Chrysler vehicles for over ten years. Having bought 2015 Cherokee in November 2014 has been my first disappointment ever. Since I’ve purchased the vehicle brand new, it’s been back at service numerous times for various repairs and recalls. To this date, it’s an unsafe ride. I opened up a case with Chrysler and was given a case manager named Matthew. Never spoken to him but received one email. Called him and continue to call him everyday but no response. I told him my concerns and received the following response from him via email…..”Hello, This is Matthew with Jeep Enhanced Customer Satisfaction, as we discussed yesterday I did send the request for a trade assistance and have received a response. You have been approved for what is called a CDI discount. Please provide the following information to your dealership to process. (CDI number: CD607337J160 Sponser name: JoAnn Heck.) You may use this CDI at any of our certified dealerships. I do hope that this is helpful to you and wish you the best of luck. We do value you as a member of our Jeep family.” I took the car to croton auto park and tried to trade in the vehicle with the CDI discount. First I was told the discount was only $2000, not much help for a vehicle which has depreciated below market value because of extensive repairs. Secondly, this was the dealer’s response in regard to trading this vehicle……”Hello Twana, Paul from Croton Auto Park. Just giving you a call to let you know that I finished up doing some research on your 2015 Jeep Cherokee. We’re in a little bit of trouble. There is quite a large difference between the value what and what we owe on it. That being said when we were looking up the value for the car. We noticed that your car is been in for service a bunch of times and also that you have an open file with Chrysler on the complaint. When you get a chance let me know what’s going on with that. Maybe there’s a light the end of the tunnel for you through them but at this moment it doesn’t look like I can get you out of the car and anyway give me a call back when you get a chance and let me know. 914-271-5100. I would hate for you to come through on waste your time. If I can’t get you out but I wouldn’t like to know what’s going on the situation and see if we can help you that way. Let me know. Look forward speak with you soon.” So through no fault of my own, and because of the extensive repairs to the vehicle showing up on car fax, my vehicle has depreciated tremendously, not even allowing me to trade it in for a safer vehicle. I need assistance with getting g out of this unsafe vehicle. I’ve been a loyal and faithful customer and shouldn’t be treated this way. The condition of this vehicle is no fault of my own but factory defects. It’s an unsafe ride. It’s still has no acceleration when entering a highway, it jerks when changing from drive to reverse, passenger storage seat doesn’t open any longer. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
This was my complaint and letter to corporate! I’m sending this email to give you a brief insight on everything that’s been going on for the past week. On May 7th, 2016 I was driving to work and when I was turning into the mall parking lot I noticed smoke coming out of my front hood so I immediately pulled into a Firestone which is also on the parking lot of the mall. The workers pulled up my hood and a lot of smoke came out and they noticed that the water hose was blown so they said if that was the only problem they would replace the upper hose and recycle Anti-Freeze Gallon. After they were through when I came to pick up my car the firestone team found some more issues that I was told would prevent me from driving my car, which they thought it was a problem with the gasket. When they gave me a ridiculous estimate I got my car towed from firestone the next day. My father called Carter County Dodge where I initially got my car to see if my car was still under warranty for engine problems. They told him that my car was under warranty for up to 100 thousand miles and my car is at 85 thousand so I should be fine. I then got my car towed Tuesday May 10th at 10am to Glendale Chrysler 10058 Manchester Rd. I spoke to Julie who is the tech supervisor and she told me I would have to pay for the diagnostic test if my car doesn’t fall under warranty. Julie was rudely telling me everything that wasn’t under warranty and how I could not get a loaner car until they determine if my car is under warranty from their diagnostic test. I felt even if all her facts were correct there is a way to speak to a customer and she showed me no sympathy, hope or accommodations period. So I called Dodges corporate office to inform you all about Julie’s behavior towards me and most importantly about the issues that was going on with my new Dodge notes were taken by Rebecca from Corporate Tuesday May 10th. That same day Julie from Glendale Chrysler told me they would finish my diagnostic test by Monday afternoon and give me an update on my cars issues, however Jason the Tech manager called and told me they got too busy and wouldn’t be able to do my cars diagnostic test until Wednesday morning May 11th. Meanwhile I still wasn’t offered a loaner and I was still out of a car and I had already missed two days of work. Julie from Glendale Chrysler called me Wednesday afternoon and informed me that my 2013 avenger needs a brand new engine, because my engine was over heated. She then proceeded in telling me that even though it’s not her decision that my car wasn’t going to be under warranty, because of the cause of my engine overheating. When I asked her what was the cause she rudely said the cause was from me driving my car then she restated herself and said it was from me driving my car with the water hose busted. So I Informed her again that when I saw smoke coming from my hood I immediately pulled my car into firestone which was less than a 100 feet from me. Also I let her know that if that water hose had been busted there was no warning lights, noises, or anything to inform me other than the smoke coming from my hood. So I highly doubt it was like that or would let me drive like that for long. Also I mentioned to her that I frequently get my oil changes and complete top offs whenever it’s time to or when my warning light comes on and tells me to, so this definitely wasn’t my fault. She then told me that she was still 99.9% sure that Chrysler was going to say it wasn’t under warranty. So I called and gave corporate an update on what was said to me that day they took notes. When I later on talked to Jason from Glendale he proposed that he could take apart my engine to see further issues of how it happened, but he said that would be unnecessary since his team has been experienced for years and once Chrysler Corporate team sees the notes and results of the diagnostic test they will determine that it is not under warranty. Then Julie later on called me and told me that I was supposed to inform her if I was giving them the okay to take apart my engine since I would have to pay for that as well as the diagnostic test if I don’t fall under warranty. I told her I never said I wanted that done and if they could just send in the results from the diagnostic test into Chrysler’s corporate team so they can decide if it is under warranty. Julie then told me that there was nothing to send to corporate, because I hadn’t given her the okay to take apart my engine, but I explained to her that when I first towed my car to them she told me that the diagnostic test would determine if I was under warranty or not, which the Glendale Chrysler tech team doesn’t decide but Chryslers corporate office does. Of course I figured they had already sent in the results or was in the process of doing so, but now I was being told something completely different and that those results were for Glendale Chryslers diagnosis of what happened to the engine and what was replaced by Jiffy Lube. So we had a bit of a dispute with nothing resolved and she then told me I would be taking up my conversations with Jason or someone else, because she was going on vacation for five days. I once again called Dodges Corporate office drained and completely stressed out from all the prior events. I asked to speak to a corporate manager so I was given a case number and they said Mr. Arasat would be contacting me in 24 hours which was before 10pm Friday May 13th. It was 9pm Friday and I hadn’t received any emails or calls so I called Corporate to see why and they explained to me that Mr. Arasat had left 3messages and emails then they saw that the corporate representative accidently put my wrong number and email in the notes for my case. Unfortunately they told me I would have to wait until Monday when Mr. Arasat would be back in his office to get in contact with him so I decided to inform you in this letter.
Mr. Arasat and Chryslers corporate team I understand that the cause of my engine failing may not be what falls under your warranty however there is absolutely no reason why I should have to pay thousands of dollars for a new engine for a new 2013 Dodge avenger that I have not even had for even 3 years that I’m still paying expensive car notes on. I could see if I had brought a used vehicle but this is a brand new car that I got at 0 miles. I have done everything I’m supposed to do in regards to the maintenance of my vehicle from frequent oil changes, filter changes, full top offs and including getting a new battery installed just two months ago. Also I had jiffy lube print me off the maintenance work I have had done for the past year. My cars air stopped working in October and the windshield wipers recently which I was getting prepared to get fixed and now there’s an engine problem which definitely shouldn’t be for a new car. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined my 2013 avenger would need a new engine and I do everything for it. The reason I got this new car was because I was dealing with used cars that were constantly breaking down on me so I called my dad crying and he said we was going to get a new car for me so I wouldn’t have to deal with the problems of those used cars. However I am now in tears again behind the recent stress and issues a new car shouldn’t have. I am a full time college student, and I just got through with finals on May 5th and this has been the worst start of my summer break thus far. So I can get to work since I missed 4 days of work I have been borrowing my sisters car and my sister haves 2 children so this has been a huge inconvenience for both of us . I will be contacting my legal advisor for advice if this issue is not resolved. Hopefully you and the Chrysler corporate team will find it in your hearts to resolve this issue by allowing my new 2013 Dodge Avenger, which has been maintained well, to be fixed under warranty. I simply ask that you place your selves in my shoes and think how you would deserve to be treated. I want you to know I will not stop until this issue is resolved, because I shouldn’t be going through this much stress and torture. Thank you for your time and concern.
Best Regards, Hillary Eileen Smith
OMG whats the update on this??
Best of luck.
The same thing happened to me with my 2014 Dodge Avenger R/T. It was brand new and overheated less than 5,000 miles after they had already replaced the small block. They said it was because of the thermostat and voided my warranty too. It is disgusting what they are getting away with.
We have been loyal Chrysler Town & Country van owners since 1993- Have a lifetime warranty oon our current 2008 model- Ignition has been the most disturbing- recalled- dangerous!
We don’t like the all new Pacifica- Some designer has royally screwed up the flat stow n go – hump in the rear folded seats! This van sells to people showing dogs- handicap access- & none of us need an “image”- Why screw up a very good design? Pacifica is not going to appeal-
We have been Chrysler Town & Country Van owners since 1993- Fabulous family hauler-
Fantastic for people who love showing dogs- fabulous for handicapped adaptation-
New Pacifica is a HUGE disappointment-
Stow n Go is no longer flat or level!
Looking at a Volvo instead!
The dealer I went to to buy a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and he said a letter was being mailed out for a $200.00 discount. Can you tell me when the letter will be mailed out ? How do you know if you are on the list to get the discount? I am looking to buy the 2017 Pacifica limited
I purchased a 2015 Jeep Patriot and I do NOT have a sun or moon roof, yet it continues to leat water. I have taken it back to the dealer several times and it’s still not fixed. Water leaks from front doom light into the radio and vents. Water also leaks on inside panel between front windshield and driver door. I should be paying for a new car with water leaks. Now I have radio problems due to the leaking. U connect no longer works. Clock doesn’t keep the correct time.
I have a brand new Dodge Durango Rt. Which costs 56000.00 my sun and moon roof is leaking I’ve taken it to the dealership countless times fir repairs, they’ve even changed the sunroof but it still leaks . My truck smells like mildew and its niw beginning to rust . Every time ut rains my truck leaks . I don’t know why I have to pay for a brand new truck with warranty that leaks everyting it rains. Chrysler should step in and take back this truck cause it cannot be fixed I am sooooooo dissatisfied with dodge . I have lived their trucks for years but right now I am never buying another car from them.

I have an idea for you. It would be nice to have a light in our trucks that would notify us if our tailgate is open just like the light that comes on when our door is ajar. It is difficult to know if it is open when we have a tunnel cover on our truck. Please contact me to let me know about this subject.
I have 2011 Dodge avenger which bought brand new I have never had any major problems til now. I noticed about a month ago what looked to be paint splatter on very weird place of the car.( rear deck lid around edges of doors edges of fenders etc.) I had taken it back the dealer I purchased it from. They told me it was paint overspray from being repainted. I explained how could it be I bought car brand new and this was the original paint. They said they have to go with what the tech. said and basically brushed me off. I went to another Dodge dealer and was treated better. They took pictures of areas I had shown them, and then sent me to their body shop they deal with to get their opinion and estimate. Four different people looked at it and said exactly what I was thinking, it is the clearcoat . It is coming off and causing the problems with the paint.I have called corporate and the dealer has sent pictures and estimate to you at corporate. Now being told by corporate than you don’t honor your work and craftsmanship of your vehicle’s. I take very good care of my cars and I believe this is just a bad paint job that was done on your part. Why should I have to drive a car that I have had less than five years. I would expect this from a car closer to 10years old, that has not been taken care of, but not from this. I feel that if I don’t get any kind of satisfaction,I will had everything to my lawyer and advise anyone to never buy any brand of Chrysler vehicles, they will never honor there craftsmanship. Thank you for reading this and hope to get some kind of action.
I need help the dealership was swift talking last Saturday night it was after midnight when they finally got to us. My wife loved her suv which we traded in for a 200 but with her back and neck issues unable to get in and out comfortably. Is there a 5 day grace period if not satisfied you can return and void the contract.
I just leased a 2016 Jeep Cherokee at Suburban Chrysler in Ann Arbor, MI. I want to express my extreme satisfaction with Robert Betts, Retail Operations Manager, and David Circele, Sales and Leasing Consultant. Everyone was most cordial and helpful through the process.
I am recommending this dealership to a friend!
I have a 2013 dodge charger with less then 39k miles still under factory warranty. I was driving home from work and my car stop on me. To make a long story short got my car towed to Auto Nation. The dealership said my oil pin came out my oil pan therefore causing all the oil to come out causing my engine seized . They can’t find any reason why it came out and are calling it an “outside force” which caused it to come out now the warranty will not cover. Now have to pay out of pocket for something that is still under factory warranty .Can some please point me in the right direction that can fix this issue. I hate to have to get my lawyer and sue..march 20,2016
As much as a proud Dodge 5.7 Hemi ram owner I am. Sure our hemi is classic. But us dodge/ hemi need an equivalent boost. With the hemi! Bam! That’s what us guys look at. Is ford faster then dodge or visa versa.
Come on. Let’s finally get ford outta the way.
Because the Ford Ecoboost is kicking our ass!
License my Patent.
I have a self charging electric car, that can charge at 100%.
I am a owner of a 2012 Chrysler 200 and on Feb. 1st my vehicle caught on fire while sitting idol in my driveway around 7am in the morning. I called Chrysler concerning the FACT that no one was in the vehicle at the time however, a car should not just catch on fire without there being a manufacture defect or a an assembly error. I received a letter from Chrysler that they will not be taken any kind or responsibility in this matter. The Rep. in the Special Investigations department was very rude and would not escalate this matter. So I am forced to take Chrysler to court.
Hey sorry that you are going through this.I think I will have to take Chrysler to court also. What number did you call to get in contact with a Special Investigation?
Can you give me the number please
im going threw a lot with them to can I have the number that u used
I have a 2014 Ram 3500 that caught fire too. Special investigations won’t call at all. I have less than 30,000 miles ona 2 year old truck. Spontaneous combustion while sitting parked should get some attention. They sent an “independent” investigator to look at it. No response in over 2 weeks after his report was filed. Not sure what investigation is happening since no one else has looked at the truck. My dealer can’t get any response either and was told to not touch the truck. Filed complaint with NHTSA and FTC. They are part of the recall process.
In February I purchased Chrysler 200 in New Jersey, I have been having problems with the car since I purchased it, I have dealt with the dealer and the so called case managers which is nothing but a glorified phone operator with certain cases that they work on, and everybody keeps telling me the same thing there going to diagnose the problem and fix the car, well they have been telling me this since February, the very first month I brought the car, and ten months later, I’m still having problems with the car, this last incident they told me that the car would not start because I had a phone charge plugged in, well when I picked the car up and unplugged the charger and got down the street from the dealer cut the car off and tried to start it again, it wouldn’t start. I have been getting the run around with this car since I’ve had it, this is the first time that I have ever purchased a Chrysler I have always had a Nissan which is a real car, I will never purchase or even recommend anybody to purchase a Chrysler they cars and service is the worst, so much more has happened with this car, I can’t even begin to put it all in words, I am so frustrated and so fed up with this, and yet I keep getting the same story, nobody wants to take responsibility for these raggedy cars, and they make it so hard for you as a customer to get satisfaction, DON’T BUY A CHRYSLER
hay you should have bought a rear Chrysler not a fake one, and yes they make fake Chrysler products witch makes me soooo mad. the 200 is just fiat junk and also the dart with the Chrysler and dodge branding. the jeep is also fiat junk. don’t buy fake stuff get the real thing and you will be fine
When you think your buying a Chrysler and you find out it’s not even Chrysler made. I feel it’s a scam. I also have a Chrysler 200 that I bought in 2016. Biggest price of junk I ever bought. I was informed that peigo, not sure how to spell it. Built my Chrysler 200 limited. Chrysler is deceiving people with slapping on the Chrysler name. I have owned Chrysler cars for at least 15 years. I’m upside down by about $8000. I’m stuck

in December 2013 I purchased a new 2013 Dodge Dart. Within the first two weeks of owning the vehicle I noticed the dash components were flashing on and off as well as my seat belt not registering when it was on and it continuously beeped at me. I contacted the dealership (safford dodge of Fredricksburgh VA) to arrange the issues to be fixed. when I brought my vehicle in I was told they reset my computer and it was all fixed and what flickering of the dash components remained was normal because it transitions every so often to system check my vehicle. about 3 months later while pulling into traffic my vehicle stalled (automatic) causing several vehicles to abruptly stop while I put my vehicle in park and started it again pulling back into safety. I contacted the dealership once again and received a rental vehicle for 2 days so they could address the problem. a few short weeks later the vehicle stalled again and had been hesitant on acceleration. dealership was contacted and I was informed it was a FUSE! I brought my vehicle in they replaced fuses and I was on my way with the vehicle driving in the same condition. If I sit and type EVERY time I had my car in the shop I will be here all night. most recently my check engine light has been on about 14 times total tips to dealership for that. my break lights wont go off and they say it was a (DEFECTIVE break pedal ) it just did the same thing on 9/22/15 this will be my third time fixing break light issue as well as my check engine light is on again. while I was on leave taking care of my mother the vehicle completely died and wouldn’t move or start. I was to report back to duty in a different state *8 hours from the time this happened. i was told several times it was a fuse. (im not stupid) however, due to the dealership not being able to diagnose the problem I was refused a rental car and forced to take my mothers only transportation from WV to DC causing her to miss her appointments for CANCER and KEMO for THE DEALERSHIPS STUPIDITY! (VICTORY dodge kingwood WV) after 7 days of possession of my vehicle they said it was my shifter assembly and it wasn’t registering my car in park. My mother (being as to she was still in the area) picked up my car after it was complete and returned it to the same dealership within 4 hours due to the same issue. another shifter assembly had been put into the vehicle along with of course dodges number one lie (FUSES) this entire process happened yet again and the result of my vehicle being in the garage for nearly one month with no rental vehicle even after I called the support group got a claim after the first 2 days! when I FINALLY received my vehicle back I had it for one week and it did the same thing to me in VA. I then had my vehicle towed to (dodge shop of springfield VA) where I tried several attempts of contacting my “service provider” -Richard whom seemed to be avoiding my calls since I had left several messages requesting a rental (IM ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY I CANT MISS WORK OR CALL IN SICK I DONT GET THAT OPTION ) after 2 days I finally get word from this *Richard stating it was my shifter assembly. I explained to him that I had the issue in WV and been without the vehicle for a month and I needed a primary form of transportation. I pay 400$ a month for a car I cant even rely on and have to have UBER on stand by in case it decides it wants to stop.(AGAIN) he then said he test drove my car and it turned out to be my transmission control module and they ordered the part. I finally got a rental car at this point and again another issue with the car when he put the new transmission control module in. Richard stated when they went to test drive my car it completely fried the transmission control module and that they would have to get another one. its now been almost 2 weeks my car has 3rd break light issue and check engine light is on. not to mention its always sluggish, has nearly stalled again entering traffic and on ramps, dash flickers like a Christmas tree but im told this is all normal…this is not normal and its a shame this is how dodge treats its customers! let me hear it was just a ( FUSE ) one more time.. my fellow soldiers and I can say …oh its just a terrorist I suppose right? DODGE D-don’t O-own D-don’t G-get E-ever!!!!!!
We also have a 2013 Dodge Dart. Have had it in several times for a leaking slave cylinder as well as turbo under boost problems. The PCM is now going and the Clutch went out completely last week. The Dealership keeps telling us nothing is wrong with the vehicle and of course nothing under warranty is wrong with it! We call Chrysler and they were nice enough o tow it to the Dealership to be looked at once again. It has to be towed since the Clutch is dead and the vehicle won’t move. Oh yeah and it went out in the middle of an intersection and almost killed my son! That happened 1 day after leaving the Dealership for the PCM and turbo boost issues. Once Chrysler towed the Dart back to the dealership it has now been sitting for 2 weeks while we wait to hear back from them on if they can do anything for us. I have at least 12 calls into them all promising a call within 1 business day. So far I am still waiting!!! In the mean time my son lost out on a job due to no loaner and waiting to get some help on this awful vehicle. We just purchased a 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel 1 month ago. Fingers crossed that lasts!! We are also in the market to lease a vehicle for my middle son who is in school out in Connecticut. Don’t hold your breath it will be a Dodge/Chrysler product at this point!!!
My 2014 dodge ram diesel 2500 caught on fire last Thursday July 23rd. I was told someone from the special investigations team would contact me within 2 to three days. It’s been a week.I use my truck for my lively hood. I call customer care and they tell me someone will contact me, where is my rental car and where my loyal service. We have bought 6 new dodge rams from you guys. And now one will call me back wow. I have no money to pay my bills or buy food. My truck is my pay check. This truck has been in the shop 14 times for DEF issues.
after reading several comments what are you to do if things don’t get fixed under warranty where do we go from here please any reply would be helpful
I have 2014 Ram 3500 that caught fire just sitting parked. It appears electrical in nature. Cant get anyone to call me back. Was referred to Special investigations. They won’t return calls. Finally after 3 weeks of no responses I made a complaint to NHTSA. They are part of the recall process. They don’t do individual cases but look for trends. Anyone with an issue that the company won’t deal with should file a report. Also file withe the FTC. I wish there was a way to pool our experiences. If we have to sue, the other fires should be powerful evidence.
I was on my way to a nephew’s wedding in S. Carolina in my Chrysler 2011 Town and Country. I stopped for breakfast in Richmond,Va on 5-12-16.after leaving Germantown, Md where I had spent the previous night.
When I entered my car and put the key into the ignition I had no response! The dashboard display showed all systems as being ok. I called the Chrysler dealership – Haley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Richmond VA who towed my car to their site @ 5400 South Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA. My car was at the garage from 10:00 am until 4:20 pm. The repair work involved removing the entire dashboard to access the ignition repair site. The ignition was replaced and the dashboard reinstalled. Due to the malfunction of the starter, I spent several hours at a garage which greatly reduced the time I eventually had to be with my family. I had no prior warning that there was a faulty electrical ignition site. I had planned my trip for several months and the loss of one day was huge to me and my family as were the additional expenses and almost overwhelming stress.
I returned home to New York State Monday, May 16th. I traveled to work on Tuesday the 17th, stopped my car turned it off. I went into work with my briefcase, returned to the car to move it to my parking spot. I put my key into the ignition and NO RESPONSE. i am back to the same issue – the ignition switch/site has malfunctioned again. The absolute anger/frustration I am experiencing is huge. What compensation is offered to me? I ask who reads this notice to substitute YOUR mother in my place. What would you do for her? I have not received any info from the Chrysler garage that now has my car. More expenses as I now have to find
transportation home etc. etc. etc.
We’re unfortunately going through the SAME THING RIGHT NOW! My husband’s POS 2016 RAM started on fire 3/2/2018. He only had the truck for 2 weeks. He literally had just driven home from the DMV, putting plates on it, ran it thru car wash and THANK GOD left it parked on driveway to finish drip drying and NOT in the garage. Within 10 minutes of him being home, it engulfed into flames, front passenger tire exploded, started garage on fire. Have no idea how it started. He contacted Chrysler, some gal said to NOT let the media know (too late as the news stations and local paper were at the scene in minutes). She said she would escalate the fire to the top and we’d be hearing back. Chrysler will NOT return our calls nor my insurance agency cars. NEVER will there EVER be a DODGE in my GARAGE or a POS RAM bought by my FAM or any type of Chrysler bought by anyone in my entire family again! Worst company ever to deal with. We will file a complaint to NHTSA and also FTC. They need to make it right. What a POS company!!!
Iam an owner of a 2013 dodge dart which has turned into a piece of junk It is so bad when you can’t trust American made
Products. Not that the dart is 100 percent American made. What can you do to help this problem instead of. Blowing smoke up my ass.
I have the same problem with a Dodge Dart 2014!! Lemon for sure. Taken it to shop 5 times sense June 2015!
I’m having problems with my 2014 dumb dart as well. The service department at the dealership I bought it from is worthless and not trustworthy. Just wondering other options I may have to get rid of the piece of shit.
Same here. Very frustrating to say the least. We are now $9000 underwater for a piece of junk that has been sitting at the dealer for 2 weeks with a bad clutch and needs a PCM update and Turbo under boost. All of which they claim is not under warranty. GRRR
